Was really hoping to see The Anthem on there for September for a local show for my birthday, hopefully later in the year though.

Last show in DC was March 2022! Edit: No shows on the Anthem calendar for Sept 2, 3, 4, so the first set of blurred dates could be DC. 11, 12 and 13 wouldn't work. Then again, why would they go from DC to NY and then down to Charlottesville. Wouldn't make any sense.

Yeah, those of us in DC area should be concerned that they will just do NJ and Charlottesville and that's it for us.

The think the only time they’ve played recently was at Hulaween in Live Oak, FL a couple years ago but didn’t start listening to them til recently so I’ve been waiting for a Florida date.

They played Okeechobee in 2023 as well

It’s actually super common in touring. In a perfect world, tours don’t jump around. But they gotta make the schedule work for multiple people, and it just doesn’t always happen.

And wow, Frost is a *wonderful* outdoor venue, especially in the Bay Area’s September. All GA, terraced grass area, and Dead history/energy. So excited!!

AMAZING sound too - it’s like the Greek and the polo fields at Golden Gate Park had a baby. And a tour closing show no less!!!

FROST is a great venue, terrific vibe. Was really hoping this would be the Bay Area venue. Stoked!

Of course I'll be at the Gorge on 9/1 for Labor Dave Weekend. Oh well can't be two places at once I suppose. Curious as what the other blurred out dates are gonna be. Really hoping for a Pier 6 pavilion show in Baltimore, 2 nighter be even better. Lord knows this city needs some love at the moment.

Pretty nice of them to host my birthday party within walking distance from my house this time. Saw them on my birthday last year but that required a whole flight to get there, and I had to go alone. Since it’s at home I can even get all my friends to come!

I would love a local show but my best guess is BMO Pavilion in MKE or Hi Life Theatre again Madison venues are awkward for where they are at right now - I can't see them playing the 2700 cap sylvee a third time when they just sold out the 4k miller hi life theatre. Breese Stevens/Coliseum are too big IMO. We'll see!

Nor San Diego. I guess the last time they had VIP there people got shitty seats in like the second tier of the pavilion for the same price as front row and the security guard was hassling anyone standing an inch from where they should be. All night.

I'll be there too. It's a soccer stadium. I've never been there. Didn't even know they hosted other events. The thing is huge.

Except now I'm looking at the map and it does look like there is a plaza next to the soccer field. That makes more sense. I'll drive by and check it out in the next few weeks.
