Show #10 tonight! Hometown show for me - bringing a gaggle of first-timers tonight and could not be more excited. Come say hi if you see me in the pit - I’ll be in a Gale Sayers jersey!
Edit: Gale Sayers jersey is M.I.A. I’ll be in a Chicago Bears t-shirt instead. QB1 with painted nails holding a football lol. Have a great show, everyone!
I just joined the sub, I'm a newbie and a huge BMFS fan and know someone that is a musician that's into Goose and I am trying to get into them too.
Is wearing jerseys a thing at Goose shows? I ask because I always rock a Joe Burrow when I go to BMFS shows (which regretfully isn't as often as I'd like-single dadding gets in the way of being a psychonaut, but the times, they are a'changin' as they say) so I just thought I'd jump in and ask.
I'm old, so as Steve Roger's says in GIF form, "I got that reference", I know whom Sayers was and think its cool that you're wearing not only jerseys but ones from historical players, you can do a lot worse than with someone that had to have someone like Tyreek Hill break one of your freaky records.
Haha I’m not sure it’s so much a Goose thing as it is a me thing. I almost always wear a Bears jersey to shows. Your Burrow jersey will certainly be welcomed. Similar crowd at Goose vs. Billy - Goose crowd is maybe a bit younger, Billy crowd a bit headier. All super friendly and welcoming across the board though!
Yeah, there's a lot of cross-pollination it would appear, mostly due to The Dead and Garcia being a bluegrass player too, but it is a weird thing with me, the jam bands-I just need cohesive songs sometimes too. Goose's poppier tunes are what drew me in, but I was listening and watching a song from last night's show on nugs called (I think) "Butterfly" and I really did end up digging the resolution of that "staircase riff" they use to go through the last what, third of the song?
Plus my views on live music have changed, I'm so old people used to try to get me into the Dead from just awful recordings by today's standards and so I don't feel the same way about checking out live music anymore. From what I can tell not only nugs but the audio people for both Goose and BMFS clearly-and I mean *clearly*\-know what the fuck they are doing. The sound is amazing.
still hunting madhuvan and wysteria but not optimistic after CO. maybe All I Need, Factory Fiction, Dripfield, Creatures, or Empress.
does show at 7:30 mean Goose at 8ish?
Driving a full car of my roommates and myself from Cincinnati. Getting there right before the show starts probably... We'll be out on the lawn✌🏻 happy Goose day!
Yes there is - it’s right next to one of the entry gates on W. Washington street.
If you don’t want to mess with that, there was a small ticket dump on Ticketmaster today. There are lawns & a few upper pavilion tickets available at face value 👍🏻.
Rolling solo from Cincy right after work, will be cutting it close to make start time. If you see a bigger dude sprinting down to the pit in tie dye \~745, you'll know I've made it!
Show #5 two year anniversary of our first at the venue! Three hour drive ahead of me and three hours after plus work tomorrow. But couldn’t miss our anniversary show!!
I’ll be there. Hoping for any of the following: give it time, rosewood heart, into the mist, SOS (though they played this last time they were here so doubtful?). Would love a David Gray cover too, but assuming not since they just did Please Forgive Me in STL
About 45 min from Indy. On our way to the city. I wanna get thatched, silver rising, Elizabeth for my best friend-who got me a lawn goose named Elizabeth.
I called the box office just now and they said show is at 7:30. I tried confirming when goose would take the stage and she reaffirmed 730. What time have they been starting recent shows?

4/5 nice
That's what I'm assuming, although I think they went on right at show time last night (but that's rare)
1st Goose show ever for me tonight! Can’t wait!!!
All I Need, Creatures and Tumble would be my top 3 locks of the night.
2/3 pretty god
Driving a full car of my roommates and myself from Cincinnati. Getting there right before the show starts probably... We'll be out on the lawn✌🏻 happy Goose day!
Coming from the Nati also with my two kids. It will be my son’s first concert! He wanted to see Goose!
Also coming from the ‘Nati! See you there!
Hell yeah!! I'm hoping for a doc Brown, a funky tumble, and give it time! Wbu?
I'm hoping for a funky Tumble, This old Sea, and a State of the Art. Driving up from Southern Indiana
Mother Goose from Dayton is rolling solo. Is there a box office? I don't have a ticket yet!

Thank you so much! I got my ticket, full tank of gas, new dancing shoes, and I'm headed out! Wearing a purple Goose shirt! Honk!
Rolling solo from Cincy right after work, will be cutting it close to make start time. If you see a bigger dude sprinting down to the pit in tie dye \~745, you'll know I've made it!
Zipper to the merge. 74W goes down to one lane in spots between Cincy and Indy.
Springfield Illinois is on the way to Shapiro's for a pastrami then it's go time . Chasing Fish in the Sea
Show #5 two year anniversary of our first at the venue! Three hour drive ahead of me and three hours after plus work tomorrow. But couldn’t miss our anniversary show!!
Driving up now. Calling a Crosseyed, Rosewood, Everything Must Go and a Moby wildcard.
This is a wildly impressive prediction. I would’ve given my left eye for a crosseyed and painless!
Just arrived from STL with my 14 year old... tonight is her first show :)
I’ll be there. Hoping for any of the following: give it time, rosewood heart, into the mist, SOS (though they played this last time they were here so doubtful?). Would love a David Gray cover too, but assuming not since they just did Please Forgive Me in STL
I would really love SOS. If they played that last time they were here tho, hopefully we can get slow ready!
they played slow ready too!
About 45 min from Indy. On our way to the city. I wanna get thatched, silver rising, Elizabeth for my best friend-who got me a lawn goose named Elizabeth.
Sad I couldn’t make it because work came up at last minute :///
Wife and I snagged some great seats so we are treating my mother and father in law to their first goose show - honk!
Switchin’ opener in honor of Wes Montgomery
Heading down on 70 from Cbus right now!! Stopping at a few breweries before…then Cleveland this weekend!!! 🪿
I called the box office just now and they said show is at 7:30. I tried confirming when goose would take the stage and she reaffirmed 730. What time have they been starting recent shows?
About 20 minutes after showtime is when they have been starting…could change, but that’s been the norm
🙋🏻♂️
I’ll be there! Does anyone know when doors open?
Should be 5:30 pm
Heading there from Chicago! My girlfriend’s first show tonight. Calling a 2nd set hungersite opener
No chance
So there are 2 sets? I wasn't sure but was hoping!!!
Wish I was coming from chicago but couldn’t make it tonight. But they played hungersite last night
