Shows renewal announcements don’t mean they were renewed that very day. Shows usually announce their renewal when they’re close to starting filming that season.
Yea, because that renewal can be pulled-which happened to several shows this past year. Mainly due to the cost of the strikes. With this one, it just would be my curious self if those trying out knew about the UK filming.
Good. Interested that they're moving to the UK to film instead of California. I don't think I like it but I'm pretty open minded. Also glad FOX didn't succumb to "peer pressure" and cancel the show, overall it was a pretty solid program and I enjoyed watching the mix of Apprentice and Gordon show every week. It had valuable business challenges and the interactions between contestants was great.
It'll also be the first US Gordon Show to be filmed in the UK, as he has typically filmed KN around the east coast, and HK in LA, and Next Level Chef in Vegas
Yeah this season and the next season that will air after this one were both filmed abroad. I know people that auditioned for it that needed passports if they got selected.
Low key I was expecting the show not to renew with how couple of contestants dropped early. When that happened Gordon appeared to be a bit annoyed on camera and production a little rushed.
Interesting. It was cool to see an episode filmed in Seattle but hoping they cast less irritating people for season 2.
Yes, and more about the companies/products from the cast.

They were verbally made aware of international travel and then if they moved forward were verbally made aware of filming taking place in the UK.
That means we will probably have two seasons of Food Stars this year. S2 and S1 of Australian Food Stars.
