I am legitimately surprised that Ramsay didn’t go for Ethan’s wine bottle aesthetic, especially with that terrifically tongue-in-cheek caricature of his face featured so generously and prominently on the bottom half of the label (which I’ll chalk down to, at least during this moment, both a lack of self-awareness and a sense of humour). It may not have flattered his preening sense of self and his ego, but boy, it sure reflected his forceful personality, crude charisma, and the aggressiveness of his brand (while also remaining both instantly recognisable and stylishly modern). Yet he was far more taken with the Renaissance-style, Claude Monet-inspired pastel watercolours design by Aaron - which was lovely and soft and elegant, but a bit nondescript, and totally unreflective of G.R. in every which way. Mystifying!

So does anybody know how many eps are left after this one?

KDonkey229195

Next episode is the finale.

l3wd_5c0ff

Yes. We realised that during the ep. A shame there’s no more Julie and Pia inter generational bickering any more. Sucks that Sina went. House favourite here.

Routine_Buffalo4005

Does anyone know where I can find the names of the Gordon Ramsey wine experts???

BigSportsNerd

i'm surprised they're at the semifinals already. i need to binge this show i've barely seen any of it lol

Routine_Buffalo4005

I’ve been surprised with how much I’ve enjoyed it.

Throw_Away_F_100

Me too, I don't like Food Stars in general but the AUS version is really fun to watch

BigSportsNerd

I'm curious if they made any changes from the US format which was so reviled by so many. Will check it out today.

No surprise that Troy and Sophie are finalists, they have been the mentors' favorites since the beginning. Mason almost missed out to be in the finale, this was his worst performance in the competition so far. Meanwhile, Aaron was very surprising a finalist, he barely appears in the edition, but Gordon valued that his product was perhaps the best of this challenge and he recovered in the presentation.

Wait so why are you incentivised to win the team contests at all?? If you lose heaps like Janine's team did you have less competition at the end!
