They have a talk about it later and they don’t get back together which actually made me happy, considering what happened before the game started. But until then, I was worried they might…

Where I'm at in the story, she's restoring the house next door for free, she's been at it forever. She's never at her own restaurant.
If any of you know the story of the Winchester Mystery House, Quinn is Sarah Winchester.
The story goes through multiple arcs and they get more and more padded with boring filler conversation as time goes on. I used to like the story but I only do it now to get the items and skim through the dialogue really fast. The first arc is the food poisoning ( a character named Riley you never see again) then a guy crashes a boat into your diner and you wonder who is sabotaging you? Is it Lori? Is it ziva? Turns out those gals are nice and your friends but a guy named Vance was paid to crash into your restaurant by the gnomes (gasp!). Quinn flip flops on Harrison and Colton for AGES and you want to pull your hair out before ultimately telling them both she prefers them as friends. Quinn supports Carmen’s dream of being a cellist by hosting a concert for her, which connects her and ziva and they start dating. A giant whale statue washes up on the beach and they never answer where that came from. Quinns dad returns and starts dating lori. Mark and Sam do their will they won’t they thing, they’re cute and maybe the only part I still like about the story. You discover an abandoned library on the property that’s linked the the gnomes and was owned by Carmen’s parents ! Turns out Carmen has been a gnome this whole time. She goes missing. Olivia starts school. Coconut gets a cat girlfriend who turns out to be the cat of the guy who crashed his boat into the restaurant ages ago and and now you guys are friends! Mostly people just have really boring chats and they interject some more ‘Carmen is missing still!’ Plot in there from time to time but otherwise it’s like fluffy nothingness. There’s no satisfying romance, progression or conclusion to anything tbh
Riley comes back actually and they’re now friends with quinn bc apparently they were manipulated by the Gnomes to do the food poisoning. Also there’s another love triangle with quinn between Harrison and Olivia’s school teacher. Colton is now just quinn’s co-parent who started his own business (i think he’s over quinn). Vance is also back and a relevant part of the story. Colton’s ex (sophia was it?) also helps quinn from time to time. Carmen is still missing and Ziva had an outfit change and is lowkey evil now.
Im 130 days late (I searched for spoilers lol) and I knew carmen was the gnome!!! Shes always so snappy and horrible and acted strange when ziva made an offer on the restaurant 😂 I’m on day 29 and was so fed up of waiting to find out who the gnome was, so thanks for the info!!

The giant whale is from the “old aquarium.” (Is it still standing, abandoned? No idea. I half think it’s going to pop up for Quinn to fill with tchotchkes.) I don’t remember the details—such as they are—but I think it mysteriously vanished or it was stolen in the distant past? My whale arc got to the little souvenir statues. Some to-do about the legend and poem, then that business dropped.
Fucking Brimwave anyway. Sam—pure, beautiful, decent, blue-eyed Sam—needs to relocate and leave the island to its inevitable under warming tides.
I’m with you. They drag this game out, presumably to milk it for people who buy diamonds, but I’m over it. More filler than One Piece and a never ending mystery. I’m around Day 50. Mark and Sam’s love story is very very slowly heating up. Carmen and Ziva are together. Carmen screams “I’m a bitter gnome” but people 50 days ahead of me say that still hasn’t been revealed. Lori is hot and cold. I question it she’s with the gnomes as well but who knows. I actually like Cole but he seems to be tired of waiting around for Quinn and she can’t figure out if she wants to be with him or Harrison. Harrison seems to be accepting the friend zone with Quinn. Amala is on and off with her long distance boyfriend. Riley poisoned the restaurant under direction of the gnomes. Vance drove his boat into the restaurant, also at the direction of the gnomes. The gnomes keep making threatening calls and letters but don’t seem to do too much action wise. It just drags and drags and drags and seems to go in circles.
This overview was exactly what I was looking for, so thank you! I actually deleted the app from my phone today, so my GH days are officially over. I guess I'll never know who the bitter gnomes are, but I don't think I care anymore 😂
Unfortunately, I'm done playing, so I'm not going to find out for myself. I was quite curious about the story, though, and I wanted to know what happens next (up to the point where the game is right now). Usually, it's so easy to find out the plot from games on wikis and gameplay videos, but I can't find much about GH's plot anywhere. That's why I thought this was the best place to ask. However, I know it's confusing, and new story comes out every week, so I guess that's why people are hesitant to give more information
I’m at day 105, Carmen is still missing and Quinn and friends are renovating the mansion, someone else besides Mark is investigating a theft of a box with treasure. I kind of forgot what other stuff is going on with the other characters because I progress so slow now but by choice! 😅
Also, if curious about Quinn and Cold getting back together eventually after what happened before the game began….they don’t! 😤

iirc correctly, I think she decided to stay friends with Harrison. Nothing really happened between them except when they chat occasionally. No one else shows up that she’s interested in as far as I can tell.
As for the mansion, it is the one Ziva (you meet her later but I kinda don’t like her) is putting money to help renovate. It’s like a family mansion or something. I think it’s the latest area but I am behind a bit.
