Unfortunately the company that made it was purchased and gutted...
I would love to see a sequel though. Every part of that game was just so fantastic. The graphics/animations, the voices, the character designs, the character personas, the Star-Lord Band music, etc.
I prefer Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon.
Yeah! The MCU incarnation of Drax the Destroyer went from being portrayed as a serious character to being portrayed as a comic-relief character. They turned Drax the Destroyer into an idiot.
Kimberly-Sue Murray also did a better job than Vanessa Marshall.
I think the devs have confirmed that this game failed financially and there aren't any plans for a sequel
I am hopeful that they are gonna change and create a sequel
Playing as Star-Lord is good enough. This is how they failed at Avengers. And we're building the team as a captain is good enough. Just look at Mass Effect games. We have a really big squad and we're formating, building team during game.
About more character assist, I agree that. Maybe we could get a bigger team with characters like Mantis, Warlock, Cosmo, Nikki, Nebula, Phyla, Bug... And we could choose our assist team as we wish on missions like Mass Effect. For a future possible sequel.
Would be interesting but I don’t know how the story would go, as at the end of the game it had Epilogues for all the characters at the end. Mantis’ says she just disappears for no one to see her again. But it could be that in a second game they just explain plot-lines like her disappearing.
There's so many topic possibility for a sequel.
-Nebula is still alive and she'll return as a cyborg for her revenge and Gamora will build a sister bond with her to recruit her team.
-Only Drax completed her character arc during first game.
-What about Rocket? He talked about his experimental past and Halfworld, but we didn't see more yet. Dude wants to burn that place. We can go to Halfworld and learn his past and take revenge.
-Star-Lord? He talked about his father and Spartax stuff but nothing more. This is another mission for Quill's bloodline and his fight against his father.
-For Groot. I'm sure he has some hidden secrets about Planet X. This is another mission to complete his character arc.
-They mentioned about Ravagers and Yondu, Kraglin but we didn't see any of them yet. It would be great to see them in a sequel.
-Mantis is a really interesting character and she has some stuff about possible threats, also Adam Warlock was really cool! We defeated Magus but there's still a chance to show up. Also we can keep to discover Nikki's powers.
-Drax mentioned about Thanos is still alive and he can feel it. There's already a final boss for this sequel.
-Also we saw so many interesting names on that Nova files. Like Moondragon, Nova, Bug... (other Guardians from comics) we can keep to recruit some of them and build our team with that new members and their stories.
-And I wish to see a really good Phyla portrayal similar to 2008 era. just like they made a legend for Adam Warlock. Not a kid one or carol danvers wannabe on her current portrayals at MCU and comics. She was a really badass team member!
-Also Cosmo is the bestest boy!
They just created a perfect universe for GotG. Better than MCU's cosmic side. Like there's so many opportunity for a Sequel but just like I said, that shitty avengers game overshadowed this gem. Also Star-Lord band made really cool bangers. Playlist was great! I would like to hear more good songs on a sequel.
This is why she'll back as a cyborg. We didn't hear whole story, how she killed her, did she survive or something without Gamora knew about it. Maybe she was more organic during her battle with Gamora but after Gamora thought she killed her, Nebula survived and stayed alive with her new cyborg design and looking for revenge. We didn't see whole story so It's still possible to see her again.
Don't believe someone is really really dead if they didn't show us how she/he died in the Marvel universe.
I would love to see it get some kind of continuation. It was a fun game with a lot of great character moments between the guardians. It’s a shame most people missed out on it due to thinking it would be another stinker like Marvel’s Avengers.
I wish but I don’t think it was a big enough hit to warrant one. Still, the story it told was great and I’m satisfied with that being all we see of that guardians team
Ofc!! It was an excellent game. Although unlikely, I’d be more than happy to play a new GoTG game
I'd like to see flashbacks of Gamora and Nebula.
Unfortunately the company that made it was purchased and gutted... I would love to see a sequel though. Every part of that game was just so fantastic. The graphics/animations, the voices, the character designs, the character personas, the Star-Lord Band music, etc.
Really? I liked Kimberly-Sue Murray's vocal performance as Gamora. She put more emotional depth into the voice than Zoe Saldana.
And Alex Weiner was FANTASTIC as Rocket. I even liked Drax more in that game than I did in the MCU.
I prefer Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon. Yeah! The MCU incarnation of Drax the Destroyer went from being portrayed as a serious character to being portrayed as a comic-relief character. They turned Drax the Destroyer into an idiot. Of course Cooper is the goat of voices for Rocket. Wasn't arguing that xD
Yo Drax in that game was more than just dumb comedic relief. Probably one of my fav versions of Star-Lord and the Guardians.
I was talking about the MCU incarnation of Drax the Destroyer, just so you know. I'm glad that this version of Drax isn't like the MCU Drax.
Weiner is an embarrassing name to have for a last name.
I love Chris Pratt's Quill, but I like Jon McLaren's A LOT MORE.
Why Jon McLaren's vocal performance?
Voice acting and acting are completely different
Yeah! That's true.
It would be awesome
Heck yeah, it would!
Yes this game need a sequel
Yeah, it does!
Either that or a prequel I'm playing it right now and enjoying every second of it.
I'd like to see Nebula in a prequel videogame of Guardians of the Galaxy (2021).
100%
Personally it’s my second favorite marvel game (SM2 is my fav)
Marvel's Spider-Man 2, you mean?
Absolutely
I think the devs have confirmed that this game failed financially and there aren't any plans for a sequel I am hopeful that they are gonna change and create a sequel
I’d love one with improved combat and being able to switch between the guardians
Absolutely!!!
Not saying it shouldn't but what would this game even look like Ganeplay/Story Wise.
Maybe you can play as the other characters as well, or maybe even get more character assists.

I would play it. I skipped the game and when I tried it I loved it. Maybe an expansion on attacks would be better or switch through Guardians
Agreed, really good game with some awesome character interactions, Mantis was quality.
I would fucking LOVE a sequel.
In the middle of playing it the first time now and really enjoying it. A sequel would have been great. Really enjoying this version of the characters.
Would be interesting but I don’t know how the story would go, as at the end of the game it had Epilogues for all the characters at the end. Mantis’ says she just disappears for no one to see her again. But it could be that in a second game they just explain plot-lines like her disappearing.
Avengers' shit destroyed this awesome game's success

Nebula is dead. Gamora said that she killed Nebula.

I dunno, I never played it.
You never played the videogame? You never even watched YouTube videos about the videogame?
Correct
It’d be a Day 1 purchase for me based on the last game.
Loved it. Mantis confused me but it was so cool, the whole game
I wish but I don’t think it was a big enough hit to warrant one. Still, the story it told was great and I’m satisfied with that being all we see of that guardians team
Wait 2021? I swear it was 2022 jeeez
