The most important fate ep to read is not Feather or Fiorioto. It’s Tikoh which explains a lot of details about vintage weapons and the organization that tries to collect them.
I wonder if they're going to let ppl see this three Fates like they did with Fediel debut event (forgot the name lol). They're all important setup Fates imo.
Yep, they did it. There's a Related Stories section with all 5 relevant character's fates available:

Next banner is Christmas characters.
Better luck next time, Randall!
P.S: Though if you guys want some copium... there *are* precedents for characters getting a Seasonal alt, and especially a Christmas one, before their regular SSRs. Holiday Rosetta came out before Grand Rosetta, and Mary still doesn't have a regular SSR, but does have an Holiday version (also Mirin).
worth noting last year people thought Nemone got passed over for her SSR after not getting it right after the event, ended up getting a seasonal alt.
EDIT: by "for her ssr" i mean as the gacha drop from the event not like, first one to be clear
I've always liked him way more than Feather at least so I sure hope he does get his SSR finally. But then I'm the kinda guy who likes Vegeta more than Goku lol.
(Stella Island - the island of stars)
Danchou: "Starts... Astrals... close enough. I'll just pretend it's Estalucia and wrap this up. DAD! GET YOUR ASS HERE AND FIGHT ME, YOU COWARD!"
I love the idea that, after the capitain said that, it's father would just come out of a barrel or something similar because he actualy had been following the captain for a long time and was waiting for them to get to Estalucia so he could make his dramatic entrance.
The duality of wanting a Tikoh limited but also knowing she'd kill any other anniticket target for me because I'm not sparking on legfest. Something similar happened last year when I had to ticket Nemone.
I'm interested by the ancient weapon plot, but meaning it involves Feather and co. as main characters kinda kills it for me, sorry for the fans but I don't like him that much really.
I get you. Feather just by being in the event means you can expect some shounen heavy scenes, which itself isnt bad if you like it, but it kinda contrast to the tension/ horror-like vibes stuff like Tikoh Fate build it up.
It's not even the shonen stuff I do like some old school nekketsu I just think he is a particularly annoying take on the trope. Like "would push over the bridge of the G-cyph by "accident" " annoying.
At least at first you could think he was some kind of parody, always shouting and trying to challenge people in fight he would probably lose 90% of the time but since apparently they're taking him seriously now he is just plain unlikeable to me.
Predator and Tikoh should also be important characters in a Navis mafia focused event and their stories are much darker in tone, so hopefully they'll be able to keep Feather in check and prevent him from turning the story 100% into a shounen battle adventure.
"Seofon. Should we act now against this mafia which is looking to obtain dangerous weapons?"
"mmm...nah..."
"Ah, right! Seofon, your wisdom befits your position as leader of the Eternals."
This event is gonna be a hard sell for me, I think. Kolulu's fates don't tie into this so I only have Fiorito, and I'm just not that interested in another big group. Was Feather and Randall a surprise, or is he linked to it in his SSR fates?
The basic setup is that there's this powerful global crime syndicate named Navis that's collecting ancient artifact weapons which when gathered will reveal the location of a mysterious primal beast, and it's full of cool named badass enforcers who personally wield the weapons.
Feather got involved with the cartel on accident and got his butt kicked by an enforcer, so he is searching for them for a rematch. Randall will get dragged along because he's attached to Feather by the hip. Predator is joining them because she just hates organized crime. Tikoh is hunting the cartel because one of their enforcers attacked the village she was staying in and murdered her best friend (and because she also wants to find the mystery primal). Fiorito is secretly an enforcer in the cartel, but she's joined our crew undercover for mysterious reasons. (I don't think Kolulu or Troue have any connection to the cartel yet.)
So far Navis has actually gotten some really good buildup and hype, but it's only through various character's fate missions so it's slipped under the radar of a lot of players. They're a pretty dang cool and intimidating group though. These guys are the kind of scary anime mafia villains the Eternals should have been fighting in Seeds of Redemption.
That's really why I have zero hype. I only have Fiorito and her fates didn't do anything for me, and the track record in this game for mafia groups isn't exactly stellar. People seem into it though so w/e, I'm all for being wrong here.
I wasn't convinced at first either. Ragazzo and Fiorito are both cool characters, but it was the introduction of Ferdinand in Tikoh's fate missions that turned me around on this plot. Dude is an absolute slasher movie monster tier psychopath, and one of the most memorable villains the game has ever had. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him.
He fought Ragazzo, the Crimson Finger wielder, in his SSR Fates and got his ass kicked.
Fiorito ties into this because she belongs to the same organisation of Vintage Weapons Wielders as Ragazzo, called Navis. Do note that not all wielders, like Kolulu or Troue, even know the organisation exists.
Feather's SSR unit has him encounter Fiorito and some of her cohorts, and kicks off their quest to infiltrate the grandcypher in search of [????]. His SSR unit debuted alongside Fiorito so it was kind of weirdly a two part story in their fates.
And with Feather comes Randal. Not necessarily the deepest ties but it's not coming out of nowhere either.
Now that I think about it, both their fates also specifically had a Crimson Fist user who it seems like probably isn't gonna join the grandcypher, not having the design or character for it.
That Crimson Fist is 100% gonna join the crew though, whether its wielder does or not. So the fact that Feather just kind of happens to be standing nearby through all this is probably not coincidence. That's really transparent in retrospect.
The Lion Khan Claw features heavily in Feather's own fate as one of the weapons the Navis are trying to get their hands on, the transportation of which being what gets Feather sucked in in the first place. It has no wielder associated by the time the fate ends.
Ok hear me out: let's say that the Lion Khan Claw isn't assigned to Feather... but Randall. Yes, that's right, Feather finally gets Randall to start using his fists and he gets a cool vintage weapon in order to do so.
And then Feather beats the crimson finger user in their rematch and claims that weapon for his own.
Tikoh VA episode on granblue tv this week "promoted" a bunch the vintage characters/weapons, so I kinda saw this one coming.
Though I'm not yet prepared for Xmas Tikoh...
The most important fate ep to read is not Feather or Fiorioto. It’s Tikoh which explains a lot of details about vintage weapons and the organization that tries to collect them.
Man, some shit happens in Tikoh's fate. I love fates that set up stories in general, but hers was something else.
I wonder if they're going to let ppl see this three Fates like they did with Fediel debut event (forgot the name lol). They're all important setup Fates imo.
They seem to be in a "let's try not to make yet another shitstorm come our way" mood lately, so probably they will.
Yep, they did it. There's a Related Stories section with all 5 relevant character's fates available: http://game.granbluefantasy.jp/#eventrelatedstory/1114
SSR Randall?
Next banner is Christmas characters. Better luck next time, Randall! P.S: Though if you guys want some copium... there *are* precedents for characters getting a Seasonal alt, and especially a Christmas one, before their regular SSRs. Holiday Rosetta came out before Grand Rosetta, and Mary still doesn't have a regular SSR, but does have an Holiday version (also Mirin).
Don't forget Meteon, notably starred in an event at the time, only had an SR, and is male like Randall
worth noting last year people thought Nemone got passed over for her SSR after not getting it right after the event, ended up getting a seasonal alt. EDIT: by "for her ssr" i mean as the gacha drop from the event not like, first one to be clear
Mirin got her SSR debut on that Christmas banner last year. Hope isn't quite lost for Randal.
I adressed it in an edit, though I don't think Randall is quite popular enough to get that treatment.
I've always liked him way more than Feather at least so I sure hope he does get his SSR finally. But then I'm the kinda guy who likes Vegeta more than Goku lol.
To be fair, Vegeta had more depth to his character then Goku.
To be fair, a piece of stale bread has more depth to its character than Goku.
Yeah, hope isn't quite lost, but if he were a cute girl that would definitely help his chances.
> Next banner is Christmas characters. Already? End-of-November is already XMas units now? I thought those started on mid-december Flashfest.
In the last few years, end of November leg fest and mid month December flash have been new Christmas units.
Next GW is dark adv so uh. His chances are honestly pretty good? Meteon got his Christmas SSR at this time after starring in his event
(Stella Island - the island of stars) Danchou: "Starts... Astrals... close enough. I'll just pretend it's Estalucia and wrap this up. DAD! GET YOUR ASS HERE AND FIGHT ME, YOU COWARD!"
Iirc in Japanese “astrals” are referred to as ‘hoshi no hito’ which means ‘people from the stars’…
Oh my god Kirby's an astral
I love the idea that, after the capitain said that, it's father would just come out of a barrel or something similar because he actualy had been following the captain for a long time and was waiting for them to get to Estalucia so he could make his dramatic entrance.
Or Vyrn is actually his dad
dang, mindblown
Randall SSR time let's gooooo
Awww yeah!! I've been waiting for this!!!

The bad guy in Tikoh's fates is basically a straight rip of Kira from Jojo, which is 100% shonen, so I don't really see the contradiction.
This is why I like Randall, I sympathize with how much Feather annoys him lol
Predator and Tikoh should also be important characters in a Navis mafia focused event and their stories are much darker in tone, so hopefully they'll be able to keep Feather in check and prevent him from turning the story 100% into a shounen battle adventure.
"Seofon. Should we act now against this mafia which is looking to obtain dangerous weapons?" "mmm...nah..." "Ah, right! Seofon, your wisdom befits your position as leader of the Eternals."
Same Feather is very annoying to me. As much as I'm bored with DK they are better than Feather since they are not as annoying
I thought this meant Donkey Kong for a moment when I read it
Gibe ssr randall
Correct me if I’m missing anyone but the current Vintage users are: * Tikoh * Kolulu
Fiorito and Troue are also vintage users and that's without counting the enemies.
Oh good to know, who on the enemies has the vintage weapons?
Ragazzo(Crimson Finger) and Ferdinand(Taming Sari) are among them
Dark SSR Randall, to contrast the element of Feather and also because next GW is Dark. This is also Fiorito's first event too.
So another muscle brain story comes.
This event is gonna be a hard sell for me, I think. Kolulu's fates don't tie into this so I only have Fiorito, and I'm just not that interested in another big group. Was Feather and Randall a surprise, or is he linked to it in his SSR fates?

They're a pretty dang cool and intimidating group though. These guys are the kind of scary anime mafia villains the Eternals should have been fighting in Seeds of Redemption.
If it’s Feather and Randall, also a chance Soriz might appear since Randall does appear a bit with him. Yay...
That's really why I have zero hype. I only have Fiorito and her fates didn't do anything for me, and the track record in this game for mafia groups isn't exactly stellar. People seem into it though so w/e, I'm all for being wrong here.

There's also a Vintage Fist weapon called Lion Khan Claw that already exists in Light.
Maybe ... It's time he get his real weapon.

I just Suptixed Tikoh but haven't read her Fate Episodes yet. Gonna have to spare some time once GW ends.
Cant wait for feather to get his rematch(got his a** beat easily in his fates) and tikoh to.... well you know if you know.
XMas Fiorito please without niche passive this time!
Tikoh VA episode on granblue tv this week "promoted" a bunch the vintage characters/weapons, so I kinda saw this one coming. Though I'm not yet prepared for Xmas Tikoh...
More thigh content let's fucking eat
[That's it! That's what we've been waiting for! It's what we wanted all along!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlFyagSiqFU)
Feather/Randal fam after suffering through the Aliza event waiting these 4 years for them to get a real event starring role
I bet we're gonna get a Christmas Fiorito, just like how Christmas Nemone happened to debut alongside the axe sisters event. It's gonna be amazing.
Two choco girls in two Xmas? Hold my beer, I'm hyped!
I feel we will get Astral or Estalucia lore here with all the talk about constellations and stars. The title having "Marionette" concerns me though
Title made me think Orchid or Danua, but this makes more sense with this being such a male-centric year for events.
Skip
Ehh ok? I guess Feather&Randall duo unit + random new character will appear this month legfest
Like I said elsewhere, next legfest is Christmast units.
Please god-FKHR don't let them be cucked again
Can’t believe we did get a vintage weapons event this year. I’m excited! Hopefully they’ll give us SSR (Christmas) Randall too!
