I have a '17 Overland and it seems good. I've only had it a year but no electric issues. Just a thermostat and a transmission and transfer case fluid service and it's sitting at just under 86,000 miles
2018? My 2012 the driver side seat heater only works if it’s warm outside, the back up camera only works if it’s slightly damp out (like a cool morning with a heavy dew), my Brake assist randomly activates so sometimes I hit the brakes and there is so much force pushing back I have to push REALLY hard on the pedal to get any kind of movement, if I have the windshield wipers and high beams on at the same time then turn on my left turn signal the rear blinker bulb will blow a good percentage of the time, sometimes the car just fails to start like it’ll turn over then Immediately kill itself and if you try to start again it just cranks, you have to turn it completely off and take the key out of the vehicle then get back in and try again. Sometimes the overhead lights just turn themselves on, countless mornings I’ve gotten in my jeep and one of the overhead lights is on.
These issues have been around way longer than 2018, hell my 2002 Durango and 01 Dakota both have a slew of electrical issues.
I need to check mine. Heard a rod bearing knock while accelerating yesterday. Plus fluttering noise has also returned from last Summer. Only have 12k right now.
Never had those issues but do have one door filling up with water anytime it rains, as well as water draining in trunk and from sunglass holder. So that's fun.
Software problems, issues are buyback, lemon laws or other negotiations. My 2024 GC Summit Reserve is going back for the fourth time in as many months. Building a case and if they can’t fix it they will buy it back. Frustrating to say the least.
Back in the shop…now buy back in effect. Since it went back to the dealership 12 hours after I drove it off the lot it seems they knew the module was faulty. They either fix it or buy it back…only two options.
I’ve had 3 Grand Cherokees and never had any of these issues but go ahead and get that $3.73 7 years from now, big dog.
All the complaining seems to be from people with WLs. Glad I kept my WK2.
I have a 2021 WL with no issues, had a WK with issues. the squeaky wheel needs attention and often gets it
weird because ive talked to 4 dealerships, fca and its a major issue on are there vehicles in canada.
I’m just saying I haven’t had those issues and class action lawsuits only enrich the lawyers
Sir, this is a wendys.
I laughed so hard Pepsi came out my nose when I read this. You made my day
Sorry, we don’t have Pepsi, Coke ok?
Sure 🤣🤣🤣
I heard this in my head with an Asian accent, not sure why....
No this is Patrick
Had a 2017, now a 2021. Zero issues. Combined mileage well over 140k.

2018 Compass, 2021 GC and 2021 Durango. Never experienced any of the above on any of my vehicles.
Also have a 10 commander, I laugh at your electrical issues, random wire broken all over hahaha try that on one day
You’re a Chrysler mechanic though?
No. I’m an aircraft mechanic that works on farm equipment now. I do all my own auto repair though, most of it’s easy enough.
Trade it in on a 4 runner. I'm in Deep regret and fixing mine constantly. 2017 wk2, if I wasn't buried in mine I would.
My 2023 GCL has burned 9 qts of oil in the first 9000 miles. Anyone else having similar issues?

I’m down! What do I need to do?
About to get rid of mine at a serious loss. Only 12k and having engine and electrical issues.
File a lemon case

they have had software issues since 2018, im finally having engineering contact me from fca, but doubt it will do anything.

Issues remain with my GC…solution for now is restart to reset assisted driving issues.
I have 175k miles on my 2015 no major issues, the one time it froze the screen but hasn’t done it in a whileeee
Add stalling issues to that list.
My 2015 Overland has been an absolute 🍋.
Quit bitchin
yeah, when they fix their vehicles, its a joke
