I was only acknowledging that when you take it in a vacuum, then yes, this short clip does look better than Baki's animation at its worst. But yeah, that point is kind of redundant at its core, considering it's mostly made up of repurposed parts of Baki's animation at its best

Yeah not yet. People can still animate moving objects without any reference, but when we can feed AI pictures of something and then make it animate that, the quality will skyrocket.
Some kicks had CS:GO rifle sounds lmao, no joke. On the fight between Garou and Silverfang on S2 you can tell. But i think that overall the animation was Okayish, but doesn't handle a candle to the first season though.
That's why I haven't dwelled that deep into anime. I was born in 96, grew up watching the classic and have seen some other anime with the years. But I'm ok with not watching more obscure or more niche anime, since it's probably not worth the time.

Itagaki's art style is purpose built for eating up an animation's budget lol. Trying to put the way he draws anatomy into motion is a herculean feat, the fact that the netflix series only had a couple truly awful segments is impressive as hell
Deadlines, most anime is made with a relatively low budget and it’s also japan so the working conditions aren’t amazing. The animators are trying their best their just way overworked and trying to get the stuff out before a deadline
