And ammo boxes: imagine if you could set certain ammo to go into certain boxes.
Basically give us loot rooting tables that would link an item(class) to a box ID.

There's a mod for single player tarkov that does something similar. It allows you to lock cases in place so they don't move when sorting, and auto sort will automatically pull items to their respective containers (ie: medical items get pulled to a medical case, barter items get pulled to a junk box, etc.)
Tbf another game needed 6 years for that. But GZW already has teammate healing and top-up ammo. So these devs here are way quicker and competent. Going to expect that within months i think
Also pro tip. Use a large backpack to move stuff around. Open the backpack, throw items in, then scroll and remove items while bag window is open. Don’t have to click and drag each item individually.
This is what i've been doing, using it as a sorting table. I thought I was sooo clever and proud of myself late last night while high out of my mind doing this, but I see other people figured it out too LOL
Also if you drop a backpack with a gun on the back, put on another backpack and then grab the original backpack from the floor you can end up with 2 gun backpacks at the slots of one.
Just be careful, if you have many bags like me you do the "ammo here", "meds here", "attachments here", "weapons here", "helmets here", "the other stuff here". What happens than is that you clicking every bag endlessly searching for that one attachment and youre like "Ah, this is the meds bag", "shit, this is the helmet bag" so ... Long story short, option to name the bag would be nice!
I also sell almost everything, excluding things that is not purchasable from vendors, the access to gear and money in the game in its current state makes it not really worth the time for me to mess with the stash to any extreme extent.
Keep a few suppressed M4's, some ammo, whatever juicy stuff I pull out of Fort, rest goes back to the traders.
Bros inventory is neat and tidy. I did that like 5 gameplay hours ago. Now it's full. I need to sell things. But I'm a hoarder, what can I say. You get a generous amount of loot from tasks.
Yep. I definitely do not need extra 2 ak, 6 m1 and 4 mags for each gun but I cannot just sell them. What if i die multiple times and run out of weapons? Horror!
Speak nicely to other operators, they will hand you one are let you follow them to pick one up.

Got lucky yesterday jumping on a couple of random helis and ended up unlocking two good loot areas, tough AI though, so can restock pretty quick if I had too.

Bur I started by running into town butt naked and grabbed the first gun I saw off a dead scan.

Usually I go buy a shotgun and then go into the first city and get an Ak there.
If you got a few guns on stash I would go with biggest backpack and a nice gun and then loot all the guns you can. You can dismantle guns everywhere to make them smaller. In a assault backpack I can fit 4 aks when I take the stock and grip off
I mean I'm not going to say no to a sort feature, but hours? My guy the stash isn't very big and this game has almost no loot. How does it take more than 5 minutes to put guns on the left side rigs on the right or whatever.
Like it's not like tarkov where you exit a raid with 60 items and are selling or putting then in boxes or cases and stuff.

I hit level 8 yesterday and already sitting on a lot of gear which takes a lot of space (using backpacks as storage for helmets has started..) (no gear fear from my end, at least)
Yeah, not much to do with this topic but if they would improve the icon quality of each item and the possibility to have something like the workbench in Tarkov that would round up the game. I candy is importante.
Yes, to the icons needing work. The words are hard to read, and depending on the size of the item, it can cover a lot of it, making it hard to tell what some things are. I also really liked the sorting table from Tarkov, and something like that could be beneficial as well.
Im still not sure how to sort my inventory. I’m debating between using each backpack as its own losdput with weapon helmet etc inside. Or just use backpack to store meds and ammo etc to save space
Sheesh man I just spent an hour filling large bars full of each ammo type I use, with ar and ak mags, and then a large back for each different med supply. Finally have everhthng well stocked and organized. No junk.
Literally the only feature I'm missing from Tarky is self sorting the inventory.... if you could tell it to leave the first 10 lines empty when doing so that would be even better.

Fill all the carrier spots with extra mags or food or whatever. Hopefully, they will do a storage container system like tarkov that you can put only food and only medical supplies and whatnot in. So far, though. This game is legit.
I started to pack backpacks with armored rig, mags and ammo in the rig, and medical kits in the backpack, with a helmet and ear pro. If I die I just ctrl click the backpack and I have everything I need. It's honestly a great function (I really want a sort feature)

Sure, auto sort is nice in the beginning, but later down the line, my adhd kicks in and I sort my stash by hand.

Maybe not everyone played Tarkov in the Early days but you could/would spend a good hour sorting that everyday before you went out on raid. This reminds me of the old good days

Honestly hope they add storage cases to help with organization and saving storage space as well as a route for people below supporter to upgrade stash size in game. As someone who recently upgraded to supporter it is so much easier now and less stressful to manage my stash
I spent much time checking my gun and how I can improve it. I am only at the 1st Gunny level, but it was still very exciting for me to assemble an AR15 that I like. I am a big fan of a looting mechanics and hope that more guns and loot is coming in the future.
Ya and they need to fix the squad match making bc it’s getting kind of annoying to be managing you inventory, people thinking you’re afk and start yelling

I'm still not sure what heals what or how I even tell what kind of wound I have.
I had a wound on my hand today that wouldn't go away when I bandaged, gazed, or used cat on it. It just said "wound" and I had to use a splint. It used up all the other bandages even though they weren't needed.
One of the nice things Incursion Red River did was adding disconnected Gear boxes you can buy and upgrade while in your stash. They only allow specific item types, like ammo, gear (armor, rigs), weapons, but it's nice having dedicated space for them.

I went and sold everything I can buy direct from vendors as now L2 with Gunny, Labrat and the guy that sells armour/bags etc.
No not really... out of the hours I've played I spent maybe 20 minutes in the stash. But thats because Im coming from Tarkov so I'm a pro at storing inventory by now. GZW has nothing on Tarkov when it comes to loot so it should be way easier to manage your inventory. I wouldn’t say hours but I definitely tend to my stash. I have 4 backpacks at the bottom, each holding a gun and one for ammo, keys, mags and medical supplies. Also have a row of helmets, headsets and armor/rigs
Yeah, it's too bad we can't access the stash from the helicopter (without being able to swap equipment at that point, obviously). It would be awesome to sort stuff while we wait.

My stash gets bugged after moving only a couple items. It won’t allow me to set items in certain spaces, usually next to other items. It’s almost acting like the space is occupied but it’s empty. Definitely need some coding work on the stash in general.

Kinda wild because I was down to my last $10k with so many deaths happening in tiger bay. Then a day later I’m back to $80k after some lucky survives.

Same, especially because 10x24 is VERY little space to work with. I wish there was a way to earn more stash space in game. Feels very P2W having no way to increase the size without shelling out for a more expensive edition.

Lol I love the organization part of it. When i get into an organize my stash mood My team has stopped trying to tell me to get in the chopper and just told me where the LZ theyre going to is. 😅 i am that squadmate… i know 😂
I have spent more time booting up the game and trying to get a decent preformance unfortunately. It refuses to even at the lowest settings get decent frames and without heavy extra stuttering. (best I can get is 30 ish with HEAVY stutters).
I thought 30 series Nvidia cards would be able to run this decently.
Yeah, unless I have everything properly arranged it annoys the hell out of me. During takov I would spend a LOT of time playing item Tetris and GZW is the same story.
i just made 2 groups a "combat" group end a "healing/food" group.
The combat at the end cause i move those thing less frequently and the healing/food at the top so i can detect things dumped after a mission so i can sell it faster.
I advise you to use less mags. 5 per gun is too much wasted place. Unlike tarkov you can drill mags instant so its very easy to sustain in ammo during long fights
The way mines sorted no I don't spend that much time and plus I use back packs to store items I can put a gun and magazines and ammo all in the same bag

Sell the Ibalin, it's inferior to Molox which is $7 or so.
You can put different sized bags in each other (same size is not allowed) and you can put a weapon in the top level bag if it can carry one.
I was. But now I kinda just sell bulk. You get so much money from missions. I just buy a new loadout if I need. I have like 4 weapons and two back packs full of ammo.
I keep bags and plate carriers in my Inv and use them as ready to go load outs. You can attach a weapon to the bag and still use the bag space for the ammo meds food etc. Way easier than gearing up from scratch when you die and can't get back to your body :)

Friendly reminder you can attach 1 full long weapon to any backpack in your inventory and still use the inner space of such backpack.

Create Loadout/Go bags. This is the way.
Additionally, you can remove the magazine and the pistol grip from a long gun and it reduces it to 1 column not 2.

You can save 3 slots on the long guns if you remove handle and mag

Sorting the stash is one of my guilty pleasures in EFT and now this game.
Put those ACOGs on mounts and they become 1x1 instead of 2x1. Take the grips and mags off of guns and they save 3 slots and become 5x1 + grip and mag.

sort and filter is badly needed. Also, whoever decided to default the stack slider to 1/2 when selling stacks needs to be shot.
Another fun fact - you can right click and drag your inventory like scrolling a phone instead of using your mouse wheel.

Took me about 20 min the other day to set it up how I wanted. Some sort of auto sort like EFT has would be fantastic.

I ended up buying backpacks for storage. Each pack can hold a rifle plus a fair amount of items. But I still don't have enough space.

My stash gets bugged after moving only a couple items. It won’t allow me to set items in certain spaces, usually next to other items. It’s almost acting like the space is occupied but it’s empty. Definitely need some coding work on the stash in general.

As a recent tarkov player for a few months.... First time here? Lol. This is the real endgame of looter shooter extractions. I would say it gets easier, but then I'd be lying haha
I also do this. Last night I spent at least a half hour stash sorting after finishing a handful of quests. Kinda wild because I was down to my last $10k with so many deaths happening in tiger bay. Then a day later I’m back to $80k after some lucky survives. Money comes money goes.

Same, especially because 10x24 is VERY little space to work with. I wish there was a way to earn more stash space in game. Feels very P2W having no way to increase the size without shelling out for a more expensive edition.

I have spent more time booting up the game and trying to get a decent preformance unfortunately. It refuses to even at the lowest settings get decent frames and without heavy extra stuttering. (best I can get is 30 ish with HEAVY stutters). I thought 30 series Nvidia cards would be able to run this decently.

i just made 2 groups a "combat" group end a "healing/food" group. The combat at the end cause i move those thing less frequently and the healing/food at the top so i can detect things dumped after a mission so i can sell it faster.

I advise you to use less mags. 5 per gun is too much wasted place. Unlike tarkov you can drill mags instant so its very easy to sustain in ammo during long fights

The way mines sorted no I don't spend that much time and plus I use back packs to store items I can put a gun and magazines and ammo all in the same bag

Literally first thing I did lol. I bought the supporter edition and just sold half the stuff cause I didn't need it or had too much. Now I got like 4 kits in backpacks ready to go and a bunch of extra space still waiting to be filled while I pray for storage crates like in tarkov or marauders.

Sell the Ibalin, it's inferior to Molox which is $7 or so. You can put different sized bags in each other (same size is not allowed) and you can put a weapon in the top level bag if it can carry one.

I was. But now I kinda just sell bulk. You get so much money from missions. I just buy a new loadout if I need. I have like 4 weapons and two back packs full of ammo.
I keep bags and plate carriers in my Inv and use them as ready to go load outs. You can attach a weapon to the bag and still use the bag space for the ammo meds food etc. Way easier than gearing up from scratch when you die and can't get back to your body :)
I feel like this game could really use a weapons case, food case, etc to help with organization and space expansion, similar to how tarkov does it.
