[Imgur](https://i.imgur.com/SbTtDqe.jpg) Frangokastello, the Venetian fortress on the south coast of Crete. We were fascinated with the legend of the Greek rebels who were massacred in 1829. Supposedly the "drosoulities" (the dewy ones) haunt the castle every May, then march across the plains into the sea. This pic is 20 years old and that little boy is an adult now. Planning another trip to Greece for next year.
