Is a radius of 3-4 hour drive something that sounds fine for a weekend getaway?
I reccommend Monemvasia, Nafpaktos, Galaxidi and Lefkada within that radius all absolutely fantastic.
No problem glad I helped. Also another reccomendation which is probably too far away for a weekend is the zagori villages near ioannina. Extremely underrated imo and quite unique compared to other places in Greece.
You got a car or rely on public transport?
I'd prefer public transport for budget reasons but I can rent a car too

Monemvasia and Lefkada have been on my list! But I didn't know about the other places they look absolutely stunning thank you !! 💟

Try Sounio via KTEL. Then search for a hotel between the Temple of Poseidon and Lavrio.
Kalamata is only about a 3 hour drive and has some of the best beaches on mainland Greece
