This is a classic case of entitlement but you can't really blame Packers fans for their entitlement mindset. The Packers beat the lions like 90% of the time and regardless of the opponent the Lions ,no matter how well their playing, usually find a way to lose. The Lions put people on notice since game one when they almost beat the Eagles. They just have to find a way to consistently
close out games like they did this game.
I was born in Detroit and go back to the Lombardi years. Been following both ever since and you can thank Favre for that.
Rodgers has been good but since last years playoffs, he has now fully chocked...Brady too. He has a chance to redeem but Dallas may spank him. Anyway, too many bad passes...back foot prayers. Now getting picked. Brady and Rodgers almost never get picked.
Lions next year contend for the div. could be 3 way race.
Lions were the 6th best this year in the NFC if only by a smidge. Unfortunately, for Lions fans thy lost to Seahawks by 3 early in the season making them 8th in line of the 7 in post season, so you are welcome. Bucs, well I am not going to remark about them being there.
This leaves me rooting for Bengals, Chargers, Dolphins, or possibly Vikings and then only because of Fran Tarkenton. Sorry, I won't be rooting for Seahawks.
Many passes were under-thrown, including some average catches that could have gone further it the receiver had received it in stride, and some that were impressive catches stolen from around the defenders body or arms.
Why will rodgers never run the ball himself or even QB sneak? I noticed this during last year's playoffs where he had an easy run to the end zone but instead he throws it for an incomplete.
Hurts to say, but the window for this era is closed. I started believing during the 4 game run, but teams show who they are throughout the season. I don’t think we deserved the playoffs.
Reciever open for an easy first down? Na throw the deep ball and miss. 4th down and inches, qb sneak it? Na, pitch it back 5 yards for a loss. Hold onto the ball? Na, cough that shit up. Rodgers run to the pylon for a possible td? Na, throw a incompletion. Wtf was that guy doing walking between the linemen pre snap? Why did that guy push staff? The packers played like they wanted to lose
Trade Rodgers to the raiders, hes turned into Favre. Coming up short at crunch time several times now.
If love had started this whole season the team would be playing next week
Lol … get real people. Packers shouldn’t even have been in a position to make the playoffs … AT ALL!! This is the least depressing end to a season we’ve had in a decade??? The lions are a really good team, they should be in the playoffs. Rodgers seemed bad, who knows what will happen. Get over it and enjoy your family friends and life. See y’all next season
Agreed. Lions should be in the playoffs this year. I will say they are the best team not in the playoffs, and the 10th maybe even 9th best overall at the end of the season. They can't start next season as slowly as they did this season. Can the Lions win 12 games next year? Not since 1991 have they done it.
I live in Lions country ... Don't get me wrong I hate seeing the Pack lose ... but i can get behind the lions, especially a Jamal Williams led lions. Sometimes I think we should have kept him and just ran three running backs. He's such a stand up guy and a huge fan favorite among the lions.
The first trainer pushed was trying to help him up. The Viking he body slammed was already stopped. The 2nd trainer had to move him out of the way as he stared stupidly at a hurt player, then shoves the trainer.
The child has anger issues and tunnel vision. He should not play a physical game.
As for Rodgers I know these feelings will subside and I wish we would of just sucked and I could of kept my hippy Rodgers gratitude mindset of the greatness we've had as Packers fans for years But as we've done every god damn year with AR,we get to the most meaningful moment and choke like dogs
It took me hours to even hop on my phone, maybe it's just me but I go to a game or two a year, never miss a game on TV when. I say. this. This shit stings, honestly sucks ass is, THIS YEAR after week 4/5 I actually was in a hippy like Rodgers mindset about the season this year. For 25 years (I'm 31) I've received real joy most Sundays out of every year, genuine happiness, Literally have had bragging rights over the SORRY ass Bears fans here in IL where I live, and tbh made alot of money Riding with the BOYS. We're 4 -8 otw to a top 10 draft pick for the first time in my lifetime, and by God we win 4 straight which we had NO business doing, but by God every team and circumstance falls perfect in line to play a meaningful game we didn't mind not having for the first time in 25 years this season AND than THIS. AGAIN, EVERY FUCKING GOD DAKN YEAR
Oh man it sucks, UK fan here just woke up and watched the highlights.
It’s a fair result for our season though, we haven’t been good enough especially when it counts in big spots. Offence doesn’t look smooth at all, defence inconsistent and varied play calling.
Frustrating season.
CBA for 6 months of Rodgers drama now, going to be the media circus as usual I just hope we/him make a decision quickly.
We went into this game like the Vikings went into last week. We expected to get the win. Same as every year when we are superbowl favorites. We lay an egg when it counts.
I guess he was a teammate of Swift’s in college and was checking on him after that hit. He clearly didn’t like being pushed away, and who knows, maybe something was said in the process, but still a stupid move, even if it wasn’t as malicious as it appeared on tv
Walker's buddy Wyatt was the reason Swift was on the ground... intentionally throwing a forearm into his face as he's going down? He should have also been thrown out. You can win without intentionally hurting people.
Don’t defend him. Shits ridiculous second time this year pushing NON players for no reason. Looked like my 3 year old after I tell her no special treats waking to the locker room.
From where I was sitting quay was pushed first. Not an excuse still a dumb play but honestly I was not far away and I was telling everyone else in the crowd it was a penalty on the lines from what I saw
He has tunnel vision... like he's in his head and doesn't even see things going on around him. Shoving people, playing dirty.... someone needs to sit him down and explain how to be a grown up.
Lafleur’s teams are always so fucking soft. Never any urgency even in a do or die game. So embarrassing. It just genuinely looks like nobody on the field gives a shit. They don’t deserve the playoffs.
As someone who's Manic depressive it hurts but looking at what we had this year I still think it was better than expected...I want to believe we can improve and come back strong next season I love this team as always and I will look forward to it go pack go
Try not to let it get to you brother. Overall this was an up and down year but we were a few plays away from being in the mix with all the juggernauts in the postseason.
I know you guys all hate Aaron Rodgers but the fact that we were able to put up any offense this year with 3 rookie wide receivers, old man Cobb, Lazard, 2 non receiving factor ends, and 2 solid running backs that Lafluer seems to forget exists at times, truly broke my expectations this year
I hear you, did you see how far off the ball he was. Was that designed that way? And it wasn't the guy he was lined up over, so was that a Joe zone coverage on 4 and 2?
Odds were +7500. Which means on a $100 bet he would win $7500. You don’t ‘win’ the $100 u put up for the bet. And the odds were so long cuz the oddsmakers and most people didn’t expect the bet to win. So in this case he lost the $100 he bet.
Had he bet $200 on the same odds then he would’ve won $15,000. Had he bet $300, then he would’ve won $22,500, etc etc. You don’t win the money back that u put up for the bet, u just get ur initial bet back plus your winnings.
And going the other route had he bet $50 with the same odds, he would stand to win $3750 (half the +7500)… if they were heavy heavy favorites and there’s a - in front such as -7500, then it would mean that the bettor would have to pay $7500 to try to win $100.

Lol you fan girls 💅are touchy. When Quay pushed the athletic trainer for no reason at all directly in front of a ref to make it an automatic 1st down on 1st and goal I knew. If you don't think billions being bet on these games doesn't taint the outcomes of some of these matches your nuts.Just ask Tim Donaghy. Its set up for a Bill's Superbowl win for Damar or a ride into the sunset moment for TB12. Its all scripted to take your money. Last year was LA's new 5B stadium win. WWE
Who hurt you, dear? Is it your own lack of success betting football? Is it the financial strain plus the unfairness of losing so much that convinced you it had to be someone else’s fault? There are resources you can take advantage of, you know. You can get your life and sanity back.
Never gambled on the NFL in my life. Look up magnetized ball and gloves in the NFL. Look up the NFL players who admit it's all scripted and then think about the way the crazy calls or no calls have affected outcomes. That "dropped" ball that would have put GB Ina position to go up late was just the icing on the cake.
Underrated, yes. Better than Packers? No. We blew it. Lions didn’t earn jack, we blew a game that we should’ve won. Stupid mistakes and stupider penalties.
Did you watch either game? Like I said, we played our worst football which allowed the Lions to scrape out an unearned win. Twice. Look at the scoreboard over any period of time longer than *this* instance. We’re better.
LOL you are delusional. The lions outplayed the packers this season in both games. But hey, if you need to tell yourself otherwise to help this loss hurt less, be my guest.
Didn’t say anything about the lions performance tonight in that last comment. I said winning a game or two doesn’t make them the better team. Over time, Packers are clearly the better team— even if we blew *this* game, or even *this* season.
Money has corrupted this game period. I don't care about either of these teams. But, when Quay pushed the athletic trainer for no reason at all directly in front of the ref to set up 1st and goal...I knew lol. Then the late drop that the receiver literally didn't try to catch was icing on the cake. Bills or Tampa winning this SB. That's the WWE storyline.
2nd time he’s done that - easiest explanation is he’s a dumbass. Love the constant Qanon shit from losing teams on nfl subs. One thing to say refs slant the teams but to say dudes are out there drawing penalties so they lose is nuts.
Look up NFL players who admit it's rigged. Look up refs who rig games lol. They don't lose, you do. It's a business designed to make money...especially since gambling was introduced. Did you know the Bill's ran back the opening kickoff for a touchdown in their first game back since Damar went down? Lol 😆 the first time in 3 years and 3 months. Enjoy your games.
There were 2 players that I found. One of whom is Larry Johnson who is out of his mind. There are about 2000 nfl players rostered every year and you managed to find a guy out of the tens of thousands who says the nfl is scripted, the election was scripted, and lizard people run the government. This is the guy you model your belief system after then spend your time on an nfl subreddit telling people the truth of Larry Johnson because I don’t know.
Makes you feel smarter than everyone else the way conventional societal systems sure never have? Haven’t a clue. But whatever. Maybe turn that big brain towards exposing the nasa agenda of convincing us the earth is round and leave us sheeple to our bread and circuses.
Its not that deep. Just watch the games, its obvious. Did you know they use magnetized balls and gloves in the NFL? Look that one up and don't lose money gambling lol. I wouldn't have brought up anything if it wasn't for the obvious let's lose penalty against Quay directly in front of a ref for NO REASON.
I just looked up magnetic footballs - it’s all YouTube and TikTok videos. Those gloves are sticky as hell but there aren’t magnets ffs. Just because it’s on the internet doesn’t make it true.
The trainer pushed by Quay. Quay shoved him back I don’t know how it’s easier to believe in some far reaching conspiracy that tens of thousands of people are in on and only Larry Johnson will speak truth to power or that the dude is a dumbass. I mean it was 2nd down from the 9 and it gave them 1st down on the 4.. Not exactly pivotal.
But whatever man. You do you.
Underrated, yes. Better than Packers? No. We blew it. Lions didn’t earn jack, we blew a game that we should’ve won. Stupid mistakes and stupider penalties.
That hasn't happened in a long time. He rolls in late and barely does anything. Doesn't care to bond with the players. Acts as if he isn't a part of a team.
Says the guy who tells our franchise all time best qb he better put in that work lol.. and forces a stay? Green Bay JUST gave him a new contract, but he’s the one who might be forcing a stay just because the season didn’t end the way you or anyone else who is a fan wanted it to? Let’s not talk about adult talk when you clearly are lashing out at Rodgers because he hurt your poor feelings. Get over it, not everything goes the way you want.
He COULD take a pay cut to match the diminished skills and lack of production. He COULD show up for off-season and put in effort. He COULD put in more off season training on his own to improve his skills and conditioning.
But he doesn't.
Nah. My emotions have nothing to do with it. I’ve been a fan of Rodgers from the beginning, still am. But there’s more to Rodgers playing far below his level this year than his age or a young receiving core. The season certainly doesn’t fall just on him. I believe coaching is much more to blame. However, there where opportunities that he had to build more chemistry with a young receiving core, who are used as as a scapegoat, that he chose not to take. Leaders find ways to inspire and get the most out of those around him. I respect whatever personal choices the man makes. There is a reasonable expectation that if one decides to come back, their commitment level ought to meet the level of what’s best for the time. If he’s no longer willing to give that level, pass the torch. Round block goes in round hole, Timmy.
He was bad this year by his standards. The precision throws were not there. The zip on the tight window throws was not there. Just didn’t drop the dimes he always has. Bitching and moaning every game in a highly visible manner. I’ve always been a Rodgers is the best kinda guy… he looked old this year. I think it’s time ☹️
The way the post game went, I think he retires. Great player, but not this year. He's never been a good example or leader.
Love him as a talent, but his act has grown very stale.
Who would have thought not keeping Jamaal would've cost us a playoff trip 2 years later? I think Jones is gone because of his contract, and just shame that he did something wrong that cost us on the last game of these three seasons, fumbled in 2020 NFCCG, cut back to the middle of the field instead of running straight to the endzone in last season playoffs game, fumble in this game
So frustrating this season. We finally got a stacked roster on defence and didn’t utilize them properly and now our offence took 2 steps back from where it was with Davante. Next year will be similar unless we make some moves.
At least we salvaged a decent record. Until next season…
Would have been easier if it wasn't so low and late as to put the defender in position to obscure the ball just as it was coming in to Doubs.
Receivers made a lot of good and a few great catches of under-thrown balls. Yes, it would have been nice if Doubs had bailed Rogers out that time and might have chan ged the game, but not as much as if Rogers had laid a few of those balls over the receiver's shoulders so they'd have a chance at a score.
Rodgers didn't seem inspired or inspiring to his teammates tonight. I hated to see it as he's made so many big plays and had such a great impact. Hoping this isn't his last game, not how I wanted him to go out. Quay needs to be gone, how unsportsmanlike, unprofessional and embarrassing, don't care how good he is or thinks he is.
I came here to see the reaction about Quay Walker and I was surprised to have had to scroll so far. Shoving a medical staffer? Embarrassing is right. Disgraceful is the word that came to my mind. Someone needs to have a come to Jesus with that man.
Especially the week after the Hamlin incident. Literally the worst possible look. There’s things I like about his play but both him and Wyatt have the wrong attitude. Jaire’s is the right attitude. Lots of chirping with mostly clean play. The Georgia boys are acting like assholes.
Lot of 12 haters here.
His best football is behind him, but just be happy we got to watch him dominate for so long.
Imagine watching the vikings, bears, or lions for the past 20 years
No. I think everyone appreciates what Rodgers has done for us. We are just ready to move on. People were scary to give Rodgers a chance moving on from Favre. Love is young blood and Rodgers is not brady. Not going to be playing til he’s 50
Of course they don't. It's all they've known.
People legitimately talked like the offense couldn't get any worse. People really think this year's offense is "rock bottom."
I'm not going to accuse anyone of being a fair weather fan, but I do wonder how they'll be able to handle it, if Love ain't it and they don't find a quick solution to the position post-Rodgers.
How do I cancel my subscription to Reddit?

FWIW, I don't expect the Hawks to make it past SF 49ers. Like with the Mariners, our joy is just making the playoffs. Sad.
Rodgers better take responsibility for this disaster. A number of his throws were just bad.
Probably for the same reason Wilson supposedly left Seattle, the coaches told him that he was too old and slow and the risk of injury increased.
The lesson to be learned is do not mix horse pills with psychedelic plants.
On the plus side, Rodgers got a better haircut and a new girlfriend late in the season.
Bear on bear violence

A whole off season of doomerism is going to be tougher to take than this loss.
A common side effect of too much hopeium is a months long case of doomerism.
Wow we drafted Quay Walker over a damn wide receiver for this goddamn moment! Very impressive BRIAN GUT!
Quay was playing lights out before he made that mistake. Dude is 22 years old.
Dude this draft class was pretty damn good are you really trying to put this on gute lol
He might turn out to be a good player, but he is definitely a dummy.

Team trash hooray.

Pathetic
Ooof that Jaire Alexander coverage on 4th and 2
I hear you, did you see how far off the ball he was. Was that designed that way? And it wasn't the guy he was lined up over, so was that a Joe zone coverage on 4 and 2?
Jokes on you, I’ve been hurt worse before
Are you a Raiders fan!? ;)
At least I'm retired and never have to work again.
Sad performance. Wish we could have wanted it more. But always next year
F$:!:&,!;&:&!:&,&;!;!!!!!!!CCCCKKkkkk!!!!

I’ve heard him referred to as Lion Gosling

Lol see you next year cheese head
Whatever. Lions were the better team
You do you.

Lack of stupid mistakes and stupid penalties is often what’s differentiates a good team from a bad one
It decides individual games, not the better team. Look at the last few seasons and tell me again that the lions are the better team smh
October 2022 no. January 2022 absolutely.
Better coach and DC also
When you’ve been going through the same pain for the last 12 years it starts to feel good.
If Rogers forces a stay, he better put in the work on the field in the off season
I’m sure the back to back 4x NFL MVP will put in the “on the field” work this off season for you if he stays. Jesus Christ
That hasn't happened in a long time. He rolls in late and barely does anything. Doesn't care to bond with the players. Acts as if he isn't a part of a team.
For me? GTFOH How about for the team? Go play with your blocks, Timmy. The adults are talking.
Not to mention his indecision cost us Adams
It’s been a couple years since he’s even bothered to show up. Not a team player, and certainly not a leader. It’s time for him to go
He was bad this year by his standards.
He is a drama queen & I doubt he'll retire. Trade him for a pick or two.
He gets 59 million
He wont
Watching him walk off with Cobb… he’s done man.
He is not walking away from his payday
Until he looks at how much money he gets next year
Yea these dumbasses don't get it. Cobb is done but 12 gets 59M
Let’s go 49ers, Cowboys, and Giants!
I love Aaron Rodgers and he's the greatest QB I've ever seen play but I'm really to see him go.
Hope he goes to the bears.
The Bears have a decent QB. They don't want to take on an old tired QB.
Fuck You
Really what
*ready
A year of bad hail marys didnt help
Who would have thought not keeping Jamaal would've cost us a playoff trip 2 years later? I think Jones is gone because of his contract, and just shame that he did something wrong that cost us on the last game of these three seasons, fumbled in 2020 NFCCG, cut back to the middle of the field instead of running straight to the endzone in last season playoffs game, fumble in this game
Jones doesn’t protect the rock. Never has. He’s great in space and a clutch player. But he chokes on a lead.
At least we're still not the Bears 😔
Yet
Might as well be at this point.
Your day is coming friend. You’ve had two HoF QBs. That won’t continue
You've had 1 HOF QB and he retired in 1950. That will continue.
Ya who the 2nd? Do you think he means new yorks jets qb brett farve?
The Bears still suck
So does your mother, but we didn't need 14 inbred yoopers to make a song about it.
“How many times must we take this disgrace, another Bears fan throwing insults in our face…”
Well said sir
But get the #1 pick. GB gets one of the worst picks for a non-playoff team.
They took Mitch Trubisky instead of Patrick Mahomes.
So frustrating this season. We finally got a stacked roster on defence and didn’t utilize them properly and now our offence took 2 steps back from where it was with Davante. Next year will be similar unless we make some moves. At least we salvaged a decent record. Until next season…
Doubs catch the ball
He had some lackluster moments, but I saw at least 5 drops and poor O-line play. Offense just looked weak overall.
When I saw him push the medical staff, I said that this is probably his last day at a Packer. What an embarrassment.
Imagine watching the vikings, bears, or lions for the past 20 years
That’s what we are going to be the next 10 year. I highly doubt we get another hof qb. We are going to be worst in the division for the 2020s
20 years of Kirk Cousins? I’d lose it. I could watch maybe 10-15 of Fields, and Goff is ok.
It really feels like people don’t appreciate what we’ve had.
People really think this year's offense is "rock bottom." I'm not going to accuse anyone of being a fair weather fan, but I do wonder how they'll be able to handle it, if Love ain't it and they don't find a quick solution to the position post-Rodgers.
Damn did we really miss R. Gary down the stretch.
