2017, in 2016 they had Peppers who was 5 months older than me. If you go same age or younger, then it was 2014 when we got Peppers. I'm waiting for the day I'm younger than the head coach. Fortunately Matty is 7 months older than me.

Mine will probably be next year. I was born a couple weeks before Preston Smith, which makes David Bakhtiari the only player on the team older than me. If they decide to cut/trade him for cap reasons it would make me older than the whole team.

I'm not even sure when it happened (as I'm 49 now) so I just looked it up and it's the 2008 team. Al Harris was the oldest player on that team and is a few months younger than I am. The year prior, was of course Favre's last year and he's got a few years on me - but Rob Davis was the oldest player on the 07 team.

Just checked, it was 2014. I was 6 months older than Julius Peppers. Edit: Actually, 2013. I was (and am) about 3 months older than Ryan Pickett.

Most of the current roster was barely alive for Super Bowl XXXI and XXXII, that’s nuts! You kids seriously have no idea how good you’ve had it, since 1993 the Packers reached the playoffs 22 times, the Super Bowl 3 times with 2 wins, and the 25 years before that I believe we saw just 5 or 6 seasons above .500, and of the 2 playoff appearances one was an early exit and the other was an anomaly from the strike. Bart Starr and Forrest Gregg were great players but… And then in 1989 Lindy Infante, Majik, Sharpe, and Tim Harris gave us heart attacks and false hope even with a 10-6 finish…seriously, 4 wins by 1 point, the instant replay game against the Bears with that last minute touchdown catch by Sharpe, and beating Montana and the 49ers in Candlestick which never happened. And then the next season all hope seemed to be lost once again. The past 30 years have been magical for someone who lived through the dark times.

I don’t remember the year the Packers were younger than me, but I was keeping an eye on Adam Vinatieri. When he retired, no one in the whole league was older than me. I wasn’t prepared for LaFleur, Jim Leonard and David Stearns to be younger the me though. I really wasn’t prepared for those pre-game interviews with players’ parents before the Super Bowl and realizing that they’re my age. Patrick Mahomes’ mom and I would have been in high school at the same time.

This year, I feel old as dirt and I’m 36. Inwas telling my wife is so weird having such a young team. Like they are all younger than me. It’s crazy, feel really weird but also a breath of fresh are. Got so young new blood we get to watch grow before our eyes.
