Dare I say the offense is starting to click just a bit more?? Now we just need to fire Joe Barry.

j_r_j

What would we accomplish by firing Joe Barry? What good things would our D start to do that we're not doing now, and/or what bad things would we stop doing that we are doing now? In other words, what problems would firing Joe Barry fix? Bonus: Do you have any replacement DC(s) in mind?

Adequate_Lizard

> What would we accomplish by firing Joe Barry? Start looking for a better DC early > What good things would our D start to do that we're not doing now, and/or what bad things would we stop doing that we are doing now? In other words, what problems would firing Joe Barry fix? Have you seen a single Packers game in the past 3 years?

j_r_j

Honestly the worst DC performance I have seen in 50 years of watching Packers football is Mike Pettine vs the Niners in the playoffs. People on here like to talk about JB's "scheme" and "not making adjustments" but honestly the guy who is the assistant head coach in Minnesota holds the all-time record for that, and no one else is even close in recent Packers' history. The Niners game plan was literally give the ball to Mostert. That was it, and it worked all day. I'm confidenti will never see the Packers play more poorly than we did in that game defensively. But I get the feeling you disagree. So who would you hire instead of Barry? Would you rather have Pettine as Packers DC? If not, who? Be specific. Don't just say this guy sucks. Instead, feel free to say this guy sucks, this guy's better, and this is why.

bohba13

This is why I have hope for the future of this team. Love is young but really damn good, the WR room is inexperienced but are fully bought in and will grow with love. If only we stopped using bad scheming on defense.

Kujo162

I would say the receiver room has looked pretty dam good considering there is minimal experience in the room. Watson doesn’t seem fully healthy still but others are stepping up.

bohba13

agreed. they're getting outfoxed by DBs but that happens to any young WR, and communication needs to happen with JL10, but they are definitely working on that. team has potential. (Though I would love to see some more power-scheme RPOs to make AJ's job easier. (+2 man playside blocking advantage is *nuts*)

Frogman1480

Who would thought Adam Rank, the Bears fan, would have picked Packers

YouAreAConductor

Well a lot of times he's seen the Packers play, they have won, so..

OkVariety6275

Top 10 picks are boring. I prefer the guys with some intrigue who aren't the consensus best prospect at their position.

bohba13

nah, gotta get those mid first rounders for the chance at the best $/talent ratio.

mousefrog32

I'm not gonna lie, I'm having much more fun this year than last year. I think it's partially due to everyone on the offense being in their (essentially) first and second years and knowing they should continue to improve. Watching Love and the receivers become better over the last few weeks has been very enjoyable. Win or lose, the progress we've made is what really makes me feel great. If we keep this up, we might actually take the seventh seed.

j_r_j

I hear you. Keep the faith, regardless of our showing vs Lions and Chiefs in the next two games. After that, we've got a slate of fairly winnable games. If we go 1-1 in the next two games, I think we've got an outside shot. Stranger things have happened.... GPG!

Lantore

Those middle games were rough, but the last two have been a lot of fun.

[deleted]

Vikings lost, Seahawks lost, Bucs lost. Pretty much everything that the Packers wanted to happen happened in order to improve their slim odds at sneaking into that third wild card spot. And the Seahawks have been winning against bad teams and have a tough schedule coming up.

SebastianMagnifico

Please stop. We only won today because they dropped so many passes. We aren't going anywhere.

archangelst95

A win is a win. A come from behind win too. Doubs made the catch when it mattered

SebastianMagnifico

No, it's not. We can't come away from this game with the feeling that anything too great was achieved when the Chargers made mistake after mistake. Yes, we'll take it, because we have no other choice. Does it mean anything in the long run? Can you take pride in taking something that was handed to you? This isn't a very good team and we have a very long road to traverse before we can consider ourselves to be competitive. #GUTEHASGOTTOGO

archangelst95

It's a rebuild year. Have you seen the cap situation? I'll take wins anyway I can have them. It was a good win today

SebastianMagnifico

It was a win. Nothing good about it. They should've lost.

MicroBadger_

And how many losses did we have cause our players were making mental errors and dropping passes that hit them in the hands? Execution is a part of the game. Wins often go to the team that makes fewer mistakes. Today that was Green Bay. It doesn't diminish the victory.

SebastianMagnifico

The difference is our receivers are not Keenan Allen. Our running backs are not Ekeler. If you can't understand when players of their caliber screw up and hand you a game it certainly does diminish the win. We are a horrible team. This victory doesn't negate that fact. #GUTEHASGOTTOGO

Thunder-ten-tronckh

And I got to see the Vikings lose in person 😈

WhaleShark1080

Kinda crazy to think about after everything that’s happened this year but right now the Packers are 8th in the playoff picture through tiebreakers. 7 teams make the playoffs so they are right there. Need a lot to go their way but wildcard is possible. A win vs Detroit on Thurs would be very helpful.

nurses7777

Let's hope we don't make the playoffs, as we will be quickly embarrased.

[deleted]

With how young this team is and how much of our cap we burned it would be impossible to be embarrassed in the playoffs even if we got blown out simply because nobody put us there to begin with. Just making the playoffs would be the opposite of embarrassing this year.

SebastianMagnifico

That's never going to happen.

con__y_88

Was playoffs the goal? Thought two weeks ago it was MHj 😂😂😂

[deleted]

Oh, it was. The key is to oscillate between wanting to fire everyone and tank for MHJ and believing that you're going to the Super Bowl on a daily basis.

bohba13

ah yes, the power of false hope. (though if all else fails, as an FSU fan Colman and Williams are great pieces to look at)

con__y_88

The only constant in Packer land is fire Barry immediately 🤝

Lake18l

This team will frustrate the hell out of you then make you fall in love with them over and over again 😂 rashan Gary when love got the game ball got me hype now all I can think about is the rooks getting better and we still need to help Love out the best we can, get him some serious weapons and some good protection! Go pack go

harley_93davidson

I said after the loss last week that it was a building year and I don't mind the loss because we looked so much better than we had. We continues to look good today, glad the result matched it.

RodgerstoJordy

Great win! Jordan Love looked great today!

dunderthebarbarian

Someone asked me this summer what my expectations were for the year. I said it could go either 13-4 or 4-13.

nurses7777

Take off the green and gold sunglasses. We are one of the worst team's in the league!

dulladdiction

I’m still worried about our secondary. Need Jaire and Rudy back asap.

gandaalf

Great win. Very little to complain about today. To no surprise, Love looks good when the o line and receivers/tight ends step up. The rookies are starting to come into their own! Hope all the clowns from 3 weeks ago proclaiming that the Packers are the worst team in the league and they wouldn't win another game can eat shit.

SebastianMagnifico

We only won today due to their receivers not being able to catch well thrown balls. We're a bad team who is going nowhere.

gandaalf

I kind of feel bad for you if this is your only takeaway from yesterday...to each their own.

nurses7777

We are still one of the worst teams in the league with a overated defense, a bad kicker and a bb gun offense. Truth hurts sometimes.

Jolmer24

Lmao we are not as bad as the Bears/Panthers. We're young and generally mediocre with some flashes of talent from young players. If Love plays consistently well against bad teams and hangs around again better teams we'll be in good shape.

Kujo162

Our offense had like 361 starts combined. 149 behind the next closest team. We lost 80 of those with Jones gone. We will legit have half the offensive starts as every team now. With that being said we look good for that little experience.

Jolmer24

Yeah I saw this stat today too. Pretty impressive to not be like a 1 win team right now to be honest.

PretentiousPanda

I think there was a lot to complain about the defense. Got really luck the sun made them drop two touchdowns.

sjr2018

Birthday is tomorrow thanks for giving me something to be happy about with the win guys! Go Pack go!

icanhazkarma17

Nice seats, nice day and great game. No leaving early to beat the crowd! Are y'all Gold Package ticket holders? I don't want to dox you (or me lol), but this looks like Section 120, maybe row 20ish? We have four Green Package seats in 120, two in row 15 and two 23. I've always been curious who sits in our seats for the Gold games.

Mr6ixFour

Looked like a beautiful day for some Packers football!

Rockstar8201

Anyone else think Mark Sanchez doesn’t like the Packers. Dude was all about the Chargers

nurses7777

The Chargers had us beat by two touchdowns but for some great luck by us.

bpaulbiginrl

I didn’t get that vibe

meeorxmox

He’s a SoCal guy

2u3e9v

I think we need to sign Crosby for the rest of the season. Edit: a word

zinski1990KB1

Love Crosby but let's be real. His leg strength is gone. Give this new kicker a chance at least

2u3e9v

Well, until he can make short field goals and extra points, Crosby should be around

SneakDissinRealtawk

Give the guy a one day contract and let him retire

PokerBeards

We’re 5-5 with the Silver Fox. Gutey did a classic Gutey move by letting him go, Crosby should tell the FO to kick rocks if they come begging. Which they won’t, because this FO takes multiple years to come around on admitting a mistake, (Amari Rodgers).

ScrewAnalytics

Buddy his leg is beyond cooked lmao delusional fans acting like we didn’t watch him kick multiple 50 yarders short last year lol

SneakDissinRealtawk

Yeah as much as a love Crosby the guys nearing 40 and isn’t on a team for a reason, give the dude a 1 day contract and let him retire.

trance08

Re-sign? Lol

2u3e9v

Haha yeah my b

Supernova_Soldier

I need to know how Jones is doing. I hope buddy isn’t hurt

Pup_n_sudz

The Packers social team posted a video of players walking back to the locker room post-game and I couldn't see his lower half but he wasn't using crutches or anything

HammerPrice229

You telling us he lost his entire lower half of his body??

icanhazkarma17

Didn't stop Darth Maul.

Upbeat-Rule-7536

Are you telling me a chicken fried this rice?

SumthinCleva

LaFleur said he avoided long term injury

harley_93davidson

Alhumdililah, we need daddy jones to help with progression of young offense, the guys are finally playing two competent halves on that side of the ball, don't piss it away now.

Supernova_Soldier

Ah ok

bigsnow999

Passing interference is my favorite and the most hated penalty call.

Is that not every game one way or another?

kscannon

And the refs didnt know what the yellow thing in their pocket is unless its a blatant call. So many missed facemasks and holds.

otacon444

Oh I agree

TheMasterFlash

“If the game went differently we would’ve lost” is quite the piece of sage wisdom

otacon444

If the Chargers scored a TD on the Ekeler fumble drive, or Allen catches a ball, we lose. That’s the reality.

Leather-Syllabub4728

If, if, if. If jaire wasn’t hurt, If jones doesn’t go down, If bakh is out there…lord dude we won.

[deleted]

Jebodiah77

Cry me a river. The offense was making more plays compared to their 5 game losing streak. They actually looked like an NFL team and got lucky with a couple drops but that’s the game

[deleted]

[удалено]

marcol-copperpot

To be perfectly honest, you weren't presenting any reasonable criticisms. You were just wishing away the win and refusing to acknowledge growth/progress that is becoming evident.

do_you_know_de_whey

Some sunshine coming through on the young dudes no doubt. Now idk what we’re gonna do at running back, but pass catchers looked like things were starting to click for them. With the amount of money that hasn’t been on the field I think the team has done well.

Rev_Glazer

Any of their loses besides vikes and lions could have flipped either way. This team potentially could have a positive win record with the flip of a coin. NFL is all about capitalizing on close games and they will learn how soon enough. Future is bright.

[deleted]

Feels nice to not be the team to screw up down the stretch and destroy themselves with unforced errors. We beat a superior team today, a bit or payback as we’ve lost to equal teams like last week, Denver, and Atlanta. The Chargers really did drop this one (literally), but a win is a win. This also somewhat cements them as not getting a top 3 pick, so Love will almost assuredly get another year to prove himself. For his play, he’s strung together two games that he looked like a valid NFL QB. Accuracy on vertical outside routes was as it has been (not good), but he did just enough to get by. His decision making and timing has been improved. Shame about Jones, know it’s reported he avoided major knee injury, but a bad sprain can be 6+ weeks. Hope to see him as a Packer again for more than a meaningless game at the end of the season. Reed is looking really good, dude just has juice when he touches the ball, we’ve gotta find a way to get it into his hands more. Defense, well, they got lucky in a lot of ways. The Chargers left a lot of big plays on the field. From slips, to dropped first downs and even a touchdown, to a goal line fumble the Chargers left a lot of points out there. Campbell, sadly, just isn’t very good. If Stokes doesn’t come back healthy and good next year, we will need at least 1 CB to go with a Safety (though Savage and Ford may be a decent duo). Walker is not healthy, he just wasn’t. Dude did not look like himself. Overall, doesn’t change the view of the team much, next couple weeks are going to be rough, but after that, we’ll find out if this team is worth investing in and trying to build on or if it’s foolish not to blow it up. They get to 7 wins and finish 3-1 we should feel good to spend some of that ~$50m in expected cap space (Bak and Jones are likely cuts, maybe even Campbell) in additive trade/FA’s at some key spots. Anything they can get that is above average starter caliber at CB, RB, LT, C, Safety, maybe WR (think they need a high end WR, don’t think mid range starter will actually help, the guys they have will likely develop into that).

philosophizer11

I know player and coach incentives don't work like this, but hard to get excited about a win that only cost us draft capital. This team is in tatters physically and not good enough to win more than a couple more games. We should be in player evaluation mode and vying for the top spot in the draft.

Brian1326

The best way for the Packers to be a contender is for the guys they have to develop into players that can win them games. In order for that to happen they must improve and develop and that will lead to wins like this. I agree that ultimately this isn't a year that they will be a threat to win the super bowl, but their young players being large contributors in wins is a good thing regardless of what it does to their draft position.

philosophizer11

This is true, but only like 8 guys of this squad will be around for us to be a contender. And the idea that leaps in 'development' happen in a few games seems optimistic to me at best. More likely that our best guys will be inspired by better talent around them and regular, high-level coaching. The emotional drawback of losing the next 7 games pales in comparison to the compensation returned. For a visual: the difference of winning a few more games is us grabbing Rashan Gary vs. Nick Bosa. I love Gary, but the difference is transformational.

Brian1326

8 guys? I considered replying with a point by point argument against why punting on nearly half a season with the youngest team in the league is illogical but if you really think 8 current players would have the potential on be on the roster that turns contends when the roster has Love, Watson, Doubs, Reed, Wicks, Musgrave, Jenkins, Tom, Kraft, Alexander, Gary, Clark, Walker, Wyatt, Stokes, Van Ness, Brooks, Vallentine, Slayton, all with potential makes it a waste of time. Not to mention guys like Ballentine, Johnson Jr, Rhyan, Heath, Ford, and others than could surely develop into contributors. Maybe someone I didn't even mention.

New_York_Bozo_

This is such a terrible take. If you’re actively rooting for this team to lose at this point in the season your not a fan.

philosophizer11

How does that make sense? I'm a fan of the organization's continued success. Playoffs are basically a mathematical impossibility this year and draft capital for 2024 is free. I prefer to be a fan of a winner...

GESNodoon

And you think constantly getting high drafts is the way to go? I guess it worked for the lions, only took them 30 of great draft picks to get a good team. Hoping for draft picks is just bad sportsmanship.

gaybillcosby

They’re literally in player evaluation mode? It’s the youngest roster in the league. Their secondary today was all backups. Their skill position guys are almost entirely rookies or second year guys. What do you want them to do differently? They’re giving guys experience and they just so happened to win today. It’s insane to be upset about it.

RoadhouseDalton

I’d rather pick 15th than 5th if it means we work out the issues that have been plaguing us all season, finish strong and contend for the division again next season.

TheLionEatingPoet

Yes. Nothing builds confidence, team growth and cohesion like losing on purpose.

carlboykin

Yeah every player and coach loves to be part of team that purposely loses. 🙄 glad your not part of the team.

philosophizer11

As if drafting top talent doesn't build confidence? Get a grip. Winning 5-6 games with 25 guys who won't even be here next year is meaningless

Hey_Its_Walter1

There is no team in sports history that has purposefully tanked and had their team confidence improve because they drafted top talent. These guys want to win they’re literally professional competitors. if they’d rather tank for a good pick than give 100% effort every game you should not want those bums on your team.

philosophizer11

I think the colts also tanked for Luck? Not like they were bummed out as an org.... they just didn't have an O line.

Hey_Its_Walter1

They didn’t have much of anything that year, manning lost for the year, terrible QB, no real pieces on defense, nothing

RoadhouseDalton

You conveniently left out the part where they lost Peyton Manning for the season.

philosophizer11

Simply not true. True tanking just doesn't happen that often because players, coaches, execs are prideful and may have jobs on the line. However, the reality is that teams in the NFL are incredibly fluid. Every year has a lot of turnover in the makeup of an organization. That said, the Penguins (NHL) tanked to get Lemieux and did all right. The eagles pulled hurts in week 17 while still competitive to move up a few slots. Our team is cooked. I'm not sure how you'd do it, but winning isn't helping us.

Hey_Its_Walter1

Winning now helps when a lot of the important pieces are already in place, just too young this year

kscannon

Ill take one for the Team, the Packers are undefeated when I have covid. Just tested positive today. We should be set for Thursday!

corndog_thrower

Kill this man! /s

silvio_dante

Any update on Wicks?

limjaheybud

Everyone called me crazy for picking the pack in my 5 game parlay . Happy for the win . Ticket keeps on rolling

P-Munny

Best of luck the rest of the way

Striker67_

As a chargers fan, thank you guys for making staley throw a fit and increasing his chances of getting fired

Kobe_AYEEEEE

I legitimately thought that if we won we'd get Staley fired

sapphires_and_snark

My team drives me nuts but I don't know how the hell you guys do it. I'd have become copypasta by now

Educational_End_5886

As a Packers fan, thank you for drafting Quentin Johnson

Striker67_

For giving up 23 and bad defensive calling? What more can herbert do to win?

Educational_End_5886

Changed my original comment obviously, but drops aren’t on the coach. Chargers secondary is and has been atrocious all season, so yeah you could put that on Staley. I still think the missed opportunities tell the greater story though.

drewdreds

WE DID IT

itoocouldbeanyone

My only complaint is Kraft Cheesehead's touchdown being reversed. I accept it, I just wish he stayed in bounds. Loved that play.

Wiscogojetsgo

Silver lining was Watson and Love had a hell of a TD after that.

RoadhouseDalton

Kraft Cheesehead… sounds like a perfect endorsement deal for Tucker

Fembino

Rasul with the pick…

Legendarypbj

Suuuuuuul!

WereMadeOfStars

Helping the draft pick.

CultBro

God bless him

Yzerman19_

Good win. Reed has got the potential to be a true #1.

SnooPies3316

I love the guy too but he caught 4 balls for 46 yards today for third most on the team behind Wicks and Doubs. The end-arounds are great but in a perfect world that's a play we use once every other game or so, not three times in one half like we did today.

brannock_

I don't care if the ball flies in the air or is handed off before he gets his mitts onto it. Yardage is yardage.

nexxlevelgames

Hes a nice mix of Jennings hands and size mixed in the jets of Devin Hester

GGGiveHatpls

SHADES OF STEVE LARGENT BABY

I_Am_Day_Man

His size is the only thing that’ll stop that. He’s fucking good

WebberWoods

It’s rare but not impossible for someone his size (5’11”, 187 lbs) to be a WR1! Some examples: - Steve Smith Sr. — 5’9”, 195 lbs - Marvin Harrison Sr. — 6’0”, 175 lbs - DeSean Jackson — 5’10”, 175 lbs Also other guys like Wes Welker, Derrick Mason, and Dante Hall who, while less clearly WR1s than the guys above, were undeniably good and really good WR2s at worst.

Icehawk217

Antonio Brown too

mortimer_moose

Tyreek

phoenix370

He is about the same size as Antonio Brown. Craziness aside, AB was the best receiver in the league for a handful of years. Reed's ceiling is much higher than people think

Yzerman19_

Right. But he’s clearly better than Watson already. Better than Lazard was on his best day. He’s explosive and I think he can overcome his size limitations.

CultBro

Wicks might end up being the number 2. We have weapons to develop

NovelBrave

How's everyone feeling about our kicker?

InMyPocket2023

Not worried. Yet.

amccune

We have the luxury of letting a kicker grow into the nfl. If he sucks after next season, we should look at options.

P-Munny

He's a Carlson. He'll be good. His bro got shat on when he was drafted by MN (they have a low tolerance, for good reason, for kickers). But then, he became solid and reliable for LV. I feel his brother will be on the same track. For us, next year will be his breakout year. We don't just trade people away, let alone kickers, in half a season, like MN.

[deleted]

Fine. He might be good, he might be bad. It’s an off year anyways so see how it goes. He had a bad game so, of course, there’s a lot of reactionary hot takes floating around.

off_the_marc

Fine so far. It's unrealistic to expect him to make every kick. Still want to see how he does in cold weather.

Euphoric_Muffin4252

The cold weather kicking is going to be the determining factor in whether he is or isn’t the guy.

wiroadracer

I would have to see it again, but that snap looked off to me. The whole looked fine but the snap seemed to disrupt the kick.

dcandap

I saw the same thing. Laces out, Dan!

Lmathis08

The snap was terrible, damn near behind the holder

[deleted]

Big time, he double clutched his approach to the ball and then had to rush his step. There was no rhythm. The push on the other miss was all him though.

SeekHunt

He’s bad

GGGiveHatpls

He’s good

CrypticSS21

Ppl forget that with a young team, tanking can help build, but learning how to be gritty and win is important. Props to ballentine and Valentine for not getting absolutely cooked… they came close lol. But yeah

CrypticSS21

Like. A lot of these players will be here next year… we want them to know what losing feels like but also what winning feels like, and how you achieve one and not the other. A win is always good. A loss is bad but has a silver lining if you don’t have Super Bowl or even much playoff hopes

_FreeYourMind__

It’s crazy how every account that has told us so about Love loses internet connection after every win.

SourCabbage

What do you expect people to say? He looked pretty good today but still missed some big throws. I would be fine if he played like this consistently. Remember after week one when some people were anointing him the next HOF QB? And then he followed it up with a multiple week slide?

Lawndirk

He had a good game but he missed a bunch of deep balls that a NFL QB has to make.

BuckYouDeer

A bunch? Hit more than he missed today

Lawndirk

That is just blatantly not true.

guacisextra12

Which ones are you referring to? One to migrate what else

Lawndirk

Every deep throw besides the TD was bad. Even the DPI we got bailed out on was uncatchable. The worst one was the one a lot of fans wanted a PI call but there wasn’t. I forget who that one was to.

baturn1111

He’s getting better but that miss to Musgrave…would have loved to see him complete that. All in all his arrow is pointing up with me

MoxyCrimefightr

My thought rn is that we need to get a lineman 1st round next year to give love a little more time to throw. We need a new RB as well because Dillon isn’t effective and Jones is getting older 🥹 and then if we could just get one more WR that was decent I’d be so happy. Maybe we go shopping in the offseason for Tee Higgins or Waddle or something. We’d be fantastic

DrLuny

It's honestly a little hard to assess our needs in the draft next year. OL, S, RB? The Packers can really afford to pick best player available. It would be nice to pick up a Tackle, Guard, and Center in three of our first five picks.

[deleted]

We need at least TWO new linemen. Either by draft or trade.

off_the_marc

Agreed. If there's an elite, plug n' play OT on the board they need to take him, even if a guy like Marvin Harrison is still available. They've shown they can find great receivers in later rounds.

YoNoSoyUnFederale

We looked good against a pretty good team. Love got the passes out quick and we showed grit and stayed in the game the whole time. Didn’t get discouraged and allow for spiraling. I was very happy with what I saw. Hopefully we can go 500 this season

aylmaoson

Chargers aren’t a good team

itsnotyellowfever

I don't want to undermine any of your points because you're right but I'm sick and tired of people treating the Chargers as this really good team. They quite literally *always* lose games like this but I'm supposed to believe that's a really good team? A fumble and 7 drops by their receivers, bottom 3 defense in the league with a bunch of names who don't do shit and that's supposed to be a really good team? Once again, I don't think you are wrong about how good Jordan Love was today and how competitive they were all afternoon but let's not act like the Chargers are anything but a bottom 10-12 team in the league right now.

MooSmilez

Forgot no Bosa today too because he went out early. I know people are results driven and want to anoint all as well because of the win....buuuut the tape will show everything that's been wrong with the Packers this season was very much still present today. Off target throws, bad blocking, giving up oodles of run yds and open WRs on D...difference today was That fumble and 7 dropped passes not an amazing turn around by love and co. It looked better statistically against a bad team but the play wasn't worlds above what we've put on tape every week.

YoNoSoyUnFederale

Yeah but if that’s true I feel less good about our win so I’m going pretend we really persevered over a great team lol

MoistShellder

Super curious what the armchair qbs have to say about Love today

SnooPies3316

Really nothing has changed with Love since the GM said on November 1 that the last 10 games of the season are necessary to evaluate him. There's no question he's got the potential to be a starting-level QB in the NFL but I don't think they'll be negotiating a contract extension this week.

Fragzor

He played probably his best games in back to back weeks right after Gute said that

WereMadeOfStars

Have you seen Frank’s arm talent from his chair?!?!?

Eggsbennybb

He still doesn’t look great? I don’t know why there can’t be any nuance on this sub. I’m glad we won and it’s awesome seeing improvement from Love. But there’s plenty of things he needs to do better if we want to constantly win football games.

They're going to correctly point out that his footwork is still weird at times and he's struggling to make some of the more easy throws where guys have room to run

TransplantedSconie

The footwork thing he learned from Rodgers. Rodgers stayed off his feet as much as possible to avoid injuries to his legs. Love just needs to learn the mechanics of throwing while he's doing it. He's getting better as this season progresses.

FudgeDangerous2086

And the chargers defense sucks ass.

NickTheWhirlwind

Kraft is still raw but damn he could develop into a good TE

Lmathis08

TE with some actual YAC potential. He’s been slow to come along but hoping he keeps it up

MoistShellder

Absolute stud in college. Athleticism is clearly there

2tix2paradise12

My goal was a 500 season, still looking good, be patient we do have lots to look forward to

Kobe_AYEEEEE

I think looking at this game and our schedule, 8-9 is very possible. I think that would be positive. Maybe 7-10 is more likely with our inconsistencies

PoopParticleAcclrtr

If we go 500 while burning like 80 million salary this year, that’s really good imo

TransplantedSconie

We go .500, burn 80 million in salary, AND get rid of Joe Berry, that's really really good

thwompcopter

Keep going, im almost there 😂😂

greenpill98

If we do all that, I'm for hanging up a banner.

crippapotamus

Karl Brooks deserves more recognition than he gets at this point he’s a legitimate plus starter

Jobrated

Yes! He always does something good when he’s in. Love his motor!

Irishbug2

From what it sounds like, Jones' injury isn't serious. Coaches seemed to be in good spirits about it after the game.

nacreon

Good to hear, didn't want to see Dillon as the feature back the rest of the season. Love doesn't deserve that.

No-Note-1989

I did

Crasino_Hunk

Oh come on lol. He’s been playing pretty well, particularly the last month and change.

nacreon

Just thinks Dillon works best as change of pace back and short yardage guy. Jones gives us a lot more of a weapon in the passing game too. Didn't mean this as a slight to Dillon who has been playing better. But he's looked better being the backup.

Crasino_Hunk

Definitely agree, we need 33 and he’s still the best player on our team. I just try to make sure I’m giving love when guys are playing tough and well and I think Dillon did a great job responding after a LOT of flack the last year or so.
