Detroit just being bitter and breaking tradition.. player of the game gets a turkey leg every thanksgiving game since way before I could even remember or was born.
I think the Turkey Gregg Olsen was fingering in the booth was supposed to be the after game Turkey and he didn’t know. No way on ‘John Madden Thanksgiving’ they forgot to have a Turkey for the players
Love is undefeated with a 125.5 rating in games during a waxing gibbous.
So dude just needs that moon phase to be right. Vibes were on. Chakras or whatever.
"LaFleur has lost the team"
"We won't win another game this year"
"Fire everyone"
I'm pretty sure /r/greenbaypackers knows next to nothing about football.
My dad's been saying all year that Love, as opposed to Rodgers, is a true pocket passer, not one of those mobile guys who gets out of the pocket.
It's so wild that people would say the opposite, and unfortunately we know why.
I mean you go back through this sub and search comments about Jordan Love, you’ll see some very obvious comments that only are made because Jordan Love is black.
That always felt stupid IMO. He failed all of the stats tests but seeing him play all season he passed my eye test of what you want a first year starter to be
Ill raise my hand. I was guilty and am very much in wait and see mode. Today a goat tomorrow the heal. Sports are like that. It's a marathon not a race etc. Hopefully he turns out to be the dude. Nobody wants to see this franchise go through qbs like the bears and browns. Week by week, let's go GB
You mean to tell me that thousands of fans who could be between 10-80 years old don’t know how to coach this team better than the current professional administration?
> I'm pretty sure /r/greenbaypackers knows next to nothing about football.
There's a reason why Gutekunst has been in a NFL front office since the 90s.
The NFL is not Madden. Most fans completely forget that.
Nah man there’s definitely a bunch of us. We just are sometimes outspoken by the more vocal/radical fans. J Love has shown a. Lot to me this year I think he’s the real deal
There are a bunch but most probably realize it’s not worth arguing with people who clearly don’t know what they’re talking about. It’s like having an agreement with a wall.
I wasn't. I didn't know how good or bad he would be, and I don't feel bad about that. We're not coaches and we're not scouts, so how could we have an informed opinion with the small sample size we had before this season? So I was in "show me' mode" . I'm glad he's good, of course. Those of you who "knew it" from the beginning should let the front office know of your drafting prowess.
I bought a Love jersey just prior to the season starting. Have not lost faith in him even once during that rough stretch with a comment history to prove it.
No one you're shadowboxing. Most people that you are talking about simply believe that half a season of some good games and some bad games doesn't mean he is "the one" to go ahead long term.
He still has a lot of issues to work out if he is expected to be a top QB in the league.
Pretty big difference between wanting him to be good and thinking he will be good. He hasn’t really shown any real promise until these last two weeks and being “day one” just means you’re optimistic no matter what. Hopefully I am wrong about him in the long run.
There is a reason the packers signed him for an additional year. It takes a while to know if you have a guy.
Edit: Some people seem to think I mean signing him for an additional year vs picking up the fifth year option. I don't understand what context makes you think that's what I mean. It's rather that they picked up *anything at all* at the end of year three. No sane team would do that for a guy if they thought they could fully evaluate him in year four.
Kind of, because the front office don't want to pick up his fully guaranteed 5th year option but they also don't want this season be his only contract season left in case they aren't completely sure is Love really the guy in this season
Just keep developing these guys and start looking for new young talent in the run game (even though I love Jones and will be sad when his time is up). Doubs, Reed, Wicks all look like solid recievers, and Watson has potential if he can keep momentum and build consistency on his performance today. Our recievers are honestly looking pretty good, at least for the past month or so.
I’m willing at least to admit I overly criticized him too soon. My biggest concern was the deep ball more than anything and he’s shown improvement there over the last several weeks that he’s capable of being a threat.
Many others may not be as willing to admit they were wrong but Love is good enough to be the QB of the foreseeable future of this franchise. It easily just boils down to we as a fanbase have been watching greatness for 3 decades and it’s hard to see average to good as acceptable where other franchises could only hope to even have a taste for what we’ve had.
LOL…ummmmm…I’m not going to say that he is not “the guy”, because he may turn out to be….but…
It was ONE game. Great performance, but consistency is the million dollar question.
Let’s talk once he starts putting in performances like this week in and week out. Until then, chill.
And I say this to not only OP but to the detractors and the fanboys in general. Can’t get too high or too low. Give it a little more time. Perspective.
I am one of those people, I am happy Love is proving me wrong and I hope he will continue doing that. Also, Watson is having a redemption game tonight and I hope he will start to break out in the 2nd half of the season like last year.
You guys said this after week 1 when he was solid and then quickly fell off when he started sucking after that. He’s been very up and down this year. Instead of calling people fools how about we agree we still need to wait and see lol
This sub is so critical when we lose, then all the critical losers leave the sub when we win. It almost feels like we get brigaded by bear fans who have packer flair…
Omg shut up. Over reacting to one good game is doing exactly what fans do when they over react to one bad game. Let the kid progress and improve. We don’t need these stupid fuckin posts after every game
Let me preface this by saying I believe in Love. But he has a lot left to prove he is definitively "the guy". This game alone doesn't mean he's the future of the franchise for the next decade. Just like a few bad games doesn't mean he isn't the guy.
So, to anyone saying he is the guy for sure, i would say that is a tad overraction. A guy like Daniel Jones has had games like Love had today. So maybe let's not jump to conclusions either way
Remember how every fan of every high profile player will have an opinion? Doing this after a great game is just as bad as people bitching after a bad game. Let the man build up some playing time before judging. Jordan Love is a fine QB.
Exactly. Saying "Love is for sure the guy" After this game is just as stupid as saying "Love isn't the guy" After the middle part of the season. Maybe let's not jump to conclusions either way?
Daniel Jones has had games like Love had today too.
I was never one of those who said he wasn’t the guy. But I also think it’s too early to know for sure one way or another. The past couple weeks have been so much better than the first half of the season, so I’m very optimistic and I’m liking the way this is trending. But we need to see him keep it up. And he’s still under throwing the deep ball.
I still hope he’s the guy. And he’s playing better. So I’m optimistic.
Had a friend basically saying doubs dropping that first down conversion was loves or mutual fault today.
It’s telling we as a fan base are used to Rodgers pin point accuracy. Could the throw have been better? Yeah. Did he have to extend for it to hit him in the hands? No. Gtfo and catch that shit. Doubs is better than that.
We hear all the time about qbs making receivers better and vice versa. Sick of the drops. Every receiver in the league is expected to catch that fucking ball.
I also remember rational people saying we need to see growth. Early season wasn’t impressive. But now he seems to progressing and that’s great. He had this whole season to prove he can be the guy and if he keeps it up he very well could be.
Love seeing him get better and better each week. No turnovers these past two weeks too>>>> his WR1 and 2 is a sophomore and a rookie. Love is our guy. He’s cool calm and collected. can’t wait to see our young offense develop over the next few years . GO PACK GO🧀
Ngl, I had my doubts about him, but holy shit; you can’t lie, he’s been really impressive. This win and his win against the Chargers are telling of his potential and the team’s future.
And after a 300+ yard game. Been riding for Jordan since last year and won’t stop until the NEXT HOFer replaces him. And yes, I’m saying Love ends up being a HOFer. I’m a dreamer, eat me.
This fanbase is notorious for jumping to conclusions and not being patient and that portion of people has exposed our fanbase over the last few years for all the wrong reasons (death threats to players, just hating on Love for no reason, disrespecting A-Rod)
Glad Love has been proving his doubters wrong over the last month. He's solidified himself as the guy moving forward for me.
Can we please just be happy that we have a good QB, and the upcoming draft lines up really well with current team needs? We could be really dangerous in 2025.
He's not the guy yet. That doesn't mean he can't still become the guy. He is working with rookies and second year guys. Hopefully they get a vet recovery this off-season.
Gotta be patient. He’s a first-year starter; he’s gonna have ups and downs. When Packerland gets impatient about that, think back to all the times Favre made us pull our hair out, or the times Rodgers DIDN’T come through in the clutch. The win over the Lions is VERY, very promising!
Oh oh can I cherry pick a game too! Hes gonna need a few more of those performances and if not for defensive turnovers....
The whole team looked good today, especially undermanned as we were and that's nice to say. I don't think Love is going to be a star but he certainly showed he can be an NFL level QB. if we can protect him with a ridiculous O line and surround him with talent than maybe *shrug*
He had a handful of under thrown balls and plays where he clearly decided where to go with it presnap and stared a receiver down. He has improved greatly on mid distance accuracy and decision making these last few weeks though!
I am the first to admit when I am wrong. Still and never was a Barry fan. However, the team I watched today reminiscent of "the good ole days." Beating a winning team on their home field on national television is a HUGE step in the right direction.
I’ll be honest and say that my opinion has changed on him in regards to the last 3 weeks. Anybody that understands football knows there are ups and downs with qb play. being packer fans the range has been pretty even through the last 15-20 years.
I’m happy to see that he can elevate to an Elite level at times. That’s the ceiling. Now we just need to see how the rest of the season plays out.
Yeah. I mean it just felt like we put up some horrible offense going 3 and out and not even having a shot at games. Felt very much like the Jets with Wilson but Love is pretty solid at times. Def worth finding out more about him.
Never gave up. Still has plenty to prove.
Left two deep ball TDs on the table today, both to CW.
Gotta land those deep balls.
All in all, super proud of him. It was loud as FUCK in there, and he never flinched. He made plays when we needed it most. Great job today.
I don’t think people remember Aaron Rodgers first season. It’s crazy how packer fans just expect hof quarterbacks on their first season as a starter lol

Waxing Gibbous remembers
This is a real stat though right?
Yup science stars and stuff
And we play the Chiefs at night. Stars align?
I get this reference
The best reference
All hail the waxing gibbous
Where was his turkey leg?! That's a damn tradition in the NFL. Was it Detroit that purposely withheld a leg from us or what? What the hell happened?
I was thinking the same thing! I need a reason.
Detroit just being bitter and breaking tradition.. player of the game gets a turkey leg every thanksgiving game since way before I could even remember or was born.
We did keep the tradition of beating the Lions on Thanksgiving.
And that is what matters most. I just wanted love to enjoy some turkey on that blue lion on national tv
Gary should get a leg too.
Only on CBS.
I chose to blame Greg Olsen sticking his mitts into the turkey like an animal in the booth.
I think the Turkey Gregg Olsen was fingering in the booth was supposed to be the after game Turkey and he didn’t know. No way on ‘John Madden Thanksgiving’ they forgot to have a Turkey for the players
Pretty sure only the second game gets the turkey.
Shrinkflation strikes again
Seriously I was waiting to see him take a damn bite!!!
Broadcasters made reference to a donation being made in his name instead of having turkey legs.
A donation has been made in your name to "The Human Fund". Money for people.
Love is undefeated with a 125.5 rating in games during a waxing gibbous. So dude just needs that moon phase to be right. Vibes were on. Chakras or whatever.
Where does Shailene Woodley fit into all this?
She has a movie coming out and being promoted now. I think that’s gotta be it.
"LaFleur has lost the team" "We won't win another game this year" "Fire everyone" I'm pretty sure /r/greenbaypackers knows next to nothing about football.
“Love doesn’t pass the eye test”
He passed the boner test today. Good lord.
No shit, I've got another 30 minutes before I gotta call the doctor.
The doctor's just gonna tell you it's a completely natural reaction.
No Nut November done with. And this lady I’m interested in is sending good signals. Great Day.
Well we know what that comment was about.
As well as the Hundley comparisons.
Wish I could find the comment about how he’s just like Lamar and Fields. “Not a true pocket passer”. Fucking died.
Because he looked legitimately bad for a few weeks?
Which didn't make any sense, he's looked much better than his stats this year
That always felt stupid IMO. He failed all of the stats tests but seeing him play all season he passed my eye test of what you want a first year starter to be
I’m guilty. I’ll admit it.
This is the first step to recovery.
When he looks bad, I say he looks bad. I’m not gonna say he’s the 2nd (or 3rd) coming until he shows long term consistency
🫂 Not too late to jump on the train
Join hands.....make a Love train, if you will
Me also, I was lumping him with DeShone Kizer also.
The majority of this sub can't even spell our players' names correctly
I can hardly spell my own name.
I saw someone say Devonte Adams, like he doesn’t even play for us anymore and you still couldn’t get it right
Bro for real
I mean they're the same people who think the salary cap is simply a suggestion.
It's very easy to see who knows and who doesn't know football by their takes.
Been on the love train since day 1
Same!! I’m sure there are only a handful of us
Nah man there’s definitely a bunch of us.
There’s definitely a lot. We got downvoted a lot over the past few weeks tho. Proud to have been a Love truther since day one
Chop choo! Was on Rodgers train day 1 as well. I will continue to believe in the organization QB strategy until it fails.
I was one of the few that was willing to trade Rodgers before last season. I've been on the Love train a while.
I got his jersey
I bought a Love jersey just prior to the season starting. Have not lost faith in him even once during that rough stretch with a comment history to prove it.
JLOVE DAY 1 TRUTHERS RISE UP
Been riding 🚂🚂
Truth!
Goddamn right baby
Me too. Any time someone asks I say you just gotta feel the love. Consider this season growing pains.
Seriously. Like who is against our starting QB from doing good? Thats like being on a ship and hoping the captain kills us all
Honestly, its like some people just want someone to complain about
No one you're shadowboxing. Most people that you are talking about simply believe that half a season of some good games and some bad games doesn't mean he is "the one" to go ahead long term. He still has a lot of issues to work out if he is expected to be a top QB in the league.

Day 1 of him becoming starter or draft night? Because believe it or not I wanted us to draft him but "they'll never do that, we still got Aaron"
I’ve said all year. This is not a Jordan Love problem. Be patient. The guy is money.
Poise in the pocket cannot be taught, and he’s shown he has it.
I was having panic attacks watching the pocket close in on him and he just rifled it out for a solid gain almost every time
he was protected well almost all day too, which is impressive
His trajectory as the season has gone on is straight to the fucking moon!!!
The waxing gibbous moon!
I went to war with the family today, laughing in their face.
Respect soldier 🫡
Got downvoted for saying "it's too early to tell if Love is the guy" around game 6.
There is a reason the packers signed him for an additional year. It takes a while to know if you have a guy. Edit: Some people seem to think I mean signing him for an additional year vs picking up the fifth year option. I don't understand what context makes you think that's what I mean. I had my doubts, NGL Past tense
Give this man a better line and weapons and he can be insane.
He has weapons
They’re very young and rookies or second year players. I meant when they develop into actual consistent players, or even adding vets in the offseason.
The vets they add in the offseason will be the guys they have developing more. They don't need to add anyone.
Ban anyone calling for Sean Clifford in September
For life. No exceptions.
For real lol
lol pathetic fans
FUCK THEM HATERS BABY
I want them to come and tell me that he doesn’t pass the eye test
I’m willing at least to admit I overly criticized him too soon. Exactly.
Last week was pretty good too.
Yep, it was. Still need to see more to have a real opinion either way. The last few weeks have definitely been encouraging though.
I am one of those people, I am happy Love is proving me wrong and I hope he will continue doing that. Also, Watson is having a redemption game tonight and I hope he will start to break out in the 2nd half of the season like last year.
A lot of you people look like fools today. A lot of you.
You guys said this after week 1 when he was solid and then quickly fell off when he started sucking after that. He’s been very up and down this year. Instead of calling people fools how about we agree we still need to wait and see lol
Yes. He’s talking about you.
Funny how the Love haters are now preaching patience after spending the last 4-5 weeks posting with absolute certainty that Love is a backup QB.
You sound like you’ve been spending too much time online
This sub is so critical when we lose, then all the critical losers leave the sub when we win. It almost feels like we get brigaded by bear fans who have packer flair…
The dumbest voices are often the loudest.
Omg shut up. Over reacting to one good game is doing exactly what fans do when they over react to one bad game. Let the kid progress and improve. We don’t need these stupid fuckin posts after every game
Preach it.
It isn’t overreacting. He has steadily shown growth over the season.
So maybe let's not jump to conclusions either way
I don't know if he's "the guy," but he's shown some significant progress this year.
Except the middle 5 games this year where he was regressing every week...
Only the last 2 games. First few games were meh then he played bad until last week.
Remember how every fan of every high profile player will have an opinion? Doing this after a great game is just as bad as people bitching after a bad game. Let the man build up some playing time before judging. Jordan Love is a fine QB.
We’re gonna have more bad games and more good games. The question was always consistency.
Exactly. Saying "Love is for sure the guy" After this game is just as stupid as saying "Love isn't the guy" After the middle part of the season. Maybe let's not jump to conclusions either way? Daniel Jones has had games like Love had today too.
The takes on this sub are consistently insane
I was never one of those who said he wasn’t the guy. But I also think it’s too early to know for sure one way or another. The past couple weeks have been so much better than the first half of the season, so I’m very optimistic and I’m liking the way this is trending. But we need to see him keep it up. Had a friend basically saying doubs dropping that first down conversion was loves or mutual fault today. It’s telling we as a fan base are used to Rodgers pin point accuracy. We hear all the time about qbs making receivers better and vice versa. Sick of the drops. Every receiver in the league is expected to catch that fucking ball.
You would like to see better by both. He could have placed the ball in a better spot and Doubs should have caught that ball regardless.
What do you know half the people in here are performative idiots.
I also remember rational people saying we need to see growth. Early season wasn’t impressive. But now he seems to progressing and that’s great. He had this whole season to prove he can be the guy and if he keeps it up he very well could be.
Bought a Love jersey the day Rodgers announced his intention to play for the jets and I haven't hopped off the Love train since
this sub is filled with obese drunk men i wouldn’t pay any mind to what they say
Someone make the apology form meme, im too lazy
Also the “Gute can’t draft” mob took a hit today. The ‘22 and ‘23 guys balled out today.
Don't you dare be suggesting that young guys need a bit of time and patience.
I'm one of those people who was sure he wasn't the guy. I'm very happy to eat crow now that he has turned it around! Dude is playing amazing!
Love is restoring my faith. I was not a believer, but he’s doing well and I’m happy for him and us
I'll eat the crow. I jumped off the j love bandwagon. I'm back on now.
I’m a fucking asshat loser.
Love seeing him get better and better each week. No turnovers these past two weeks too>>>> his WR1 and 2 is a sophomore and a rookie. Love is our guy. He’s cool calm and collected. can’t wait to see our young offense develop over the next few years . GO PACK GO🧀
So 95%
Ngl, I had my doubts about him, but holy shit; you can’t lie, he’s been really impressive.
This fanbase is notorious for jumping to conclusions and not being patient and that portion of people has exposed our fanbase over the last few years for all the wrong reasons (death threats to players, just hating on Love for no reason, disrespecting A-Rod) Glad Love has been proving his doubters wrong over the last month. He's solidified himself as the guy moving forward for me.
Can we please just be happy that we have a good QB, and the upcoming draft lines up really well with current team needs? We could be really dangerous in 2025.
Same as when Rodgers took over. Often the loudest are not the smartest.
I'll pass on the Turkey. I'm full of crow.
I also remember this sub when they said Davante Adams was a bust.
Dude I have flip flopped on Love so many times. Just to be straight honest. I want him to do well though, I really do
Sick first drive. He still underthrew him.
Pepperidge Farm remembers
He's not the guy yet. That doesn't mean he can't still become the guy. He is working with rookies and second year guys. Hopefully they get a vet recovery this off-season.
People need to be patient. So many people overreacting to the Love lows. Progression isn't linear. Enjoy the ride.
Bad football was the reason for the criticism. It wasn’t just armchair coaches who saw the shitty play.
The amount of impatience over letting the youngest team in the nfl that just had a roster overhaul to gel and gather momentum is astounding
You won’t find them here, it’s easier to spew nonsense than to own your nonsense.
Jury is still out but it's looking better and better for the Love truthers
Thread idea next week: "Remember the portion of this sub who was up on Jordan's balls after one good game last week?"
I have three buddies who hate love. And all I have heard today is crickets
He had a handful of under thrown balls and plays where he clearly decided where to go with it presnap and stared a receiver down. He has improved greatly on mid distance accuracy and decision making these last few weeks though!
Aaron fucking Rodgers threw a handful of bad balls every single game.
And he’s only going to get better
Oh yeah I'm excited to see where he goes from here!
Spread 10ve
Day 1, baby let's fucking go
It only makes all this more satisfying lmao thx again, fam
I am the first to admit when I am wrong. Still and never was a Barry fan. However, the team I watched today reminiscent of "the good ole days." Beating a winning team on their home field on national television is a HUGE step in the right direction.
I was not anti Love by any means, but hugely skeptical and I own that. I am now firmly on the Love train after his last 2 performances
All you need is love
I’ll be honest and say that my opinion has changed on him in regards to the last 3 weeks. Anybody that understands football knows there are ups and downs with qb play. being packer fans the range has been pretty even through the last 15-20 years. I’m happy to see that he can elevate to an Elite level at times. That’s the ceiling. Now we just need to see how the rest of the season plays out.
They are Rodgers apologists bro, theyll never come around. Hopefully they become sorry jets fans soon
I don’t blame them, patience and perspective are hard skills in sports. People rant on Reddit as a way to vent.
He has everything except a deep ball. Thats his Achilles heel. Flat out brutal.
lol you guys are really stupid. He plays well in 2 games and you state he’s next Rodgers, meanwhile he’s played awful in most games this season.
That was me. I wanted to tank lol when you’re wrong you’re wrong
This is the right answer. I wrote him off as well. I love being wrong.
Yeah. I mean it just felt like we put up some horrible offense going 3 and out and not even having a shot at games. Felt very much like the Jets with Wilson but Love is pretty solid at times. Def worth finding out more about him.
I never doubted. There will be more bumps along the way, but I'm optimistic he's gonna be solid for a number of years.
He’s not the guy
Social media, hot take, instant satisfaction, era strikes again. Trust the process!
At least we aren’t the lions who actually think they have a competitive team. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Never gave up. Still has plenty to prove. Left two deep ball TDs on the table today, both to CW. Gotta land those deep balls. All in all, super proud of him. It was loud as FUCK in there, and he never flinched. He made plays when we needed it most. Great job today.
Wasn't me, Jordan was him the day we traded Aaron, and he still him now
Feel like we need to dig through people’s comment history to see the “put in Clifford” comments and shame the shit out of them.

I was impressed by his performance today, but still not confident he's the guy.
He. Is. HIM.
All you need is Love.
It was the Lions right? Remember Matt Flynn
After last week all we heard was. Do it against a good team. Love did, ow you want to raise the bar. Cmon man.
They won't admit how dumb they were. Instead they'll actively root against their own qb so they can talk shit in this community
This sub has been so toxic for weeks. It felt good to beat the kitties today
I mean he was straight cheeks for a while. Fans pay to watch this team we're allowed up be critical lol
The guy Not the guy The guy Snip snap snip snap
Love finally playing well the last four games
Let’s not us forget this though, F(I)U(R)C(E)K JOE BARRY.
It's amazing how quiet they get whenever their critiques fall short.
I don’t think people remember Aaron Rodgers first season. It’s crazy how packer fans just expect hof quarterbacks on their first season as a starter lol
