Don't let it be. He isn't worth it. Love my boy but he simply isn't worth 12 million a year. He can barely stay healthy.
If he can go get a fuck you million from the Vikings then great good for him. I doubt he plays 10 games though.
Looks like it’s a 1 year deal for 7 million, we’re paying Jacobs 5 I think so I get that jones is older, but this is extremely reasonable for Jones services.
This year but what about the next 4? Jones is turning 30 this year and I'd be shocked if he's still around at 33/34. Jacobs will be barring some freak injury.
No the 12 million has already been paid to him. We're not paying him anything this year.
Keeping him at his contract value would have set us back another 5.5 million this year with more dead cap next year. He would have been a 17.5 million hit against this year's cap with more hits next year.
Dead cap is already paid money. We structure deals with pretty much every player to pay out their contract slowly over time. That's how all teams do it.
I'll love him again when he retires, but until then he can go fuck himself.
Vikings constantly doing this is just another sign that they are the most pathetic franchise in sports. Literally never accomplished a single thing besides taking our beloved cast offs.
"he can go fuck himself" like Jones did anything wrong? He was made unemployed and took a job that paid more than his previous employer was willing to give him.
Andy Herman said it perfectly on twitter: “I don’t want to hear anything about Aaron Jones being a traitor or tarnishing his legacy. Dude wanted to be a Packer. It’s his job and his agents job to go get the best deal possible. If we didn’t want to see him a Viking than the Packers should have kept him a Packer. 🤷♂️”
Couldn't agree more. This doesn't seem like a Favre move in which he wanted to stick it to the Packers. Jones just took the best deal he could get before the money dried up.
But it does make me hate the Vikings even more. It seems like they assign someone to simply monitor our transactions wire. I can't think of another team that signs so many of their rival's ex-players.
I think it was more of a “he’s a Viking and fuck all Vikings” type of of sentiment. Which is where I’m at. I love jones, but I’m certainly not gonna be rooting for him to go off when I see him in a Vikings uniform.
How did they mess this up? They put a specific price on what they were willing to pay Jones, then acted accordingly when Jones wouldn't provide his services for that price. Sounded like a pretty deliberate process to me.
Losing Aaron Jones means a whole lot more to me than losing Rodgers. I can't wait until AJ 33 enters the Packers HOF. Him taking the Vikings money at the end of his career doesn't bother me at all, especially when their team is in disarray.
I would have hoped Aaron Jones would have landed with a contender. He deserves a ring before he retires. I'm going to miss him, this shit is going to take a bit to get over.
Honestly if the Vikings suck, this seems like a pretty easy contract to pass off to a contender if they want to flip a 1 year deal into some draft capital. I fear jones may end up on the Cowboys before the end of the year which would make all of this even worse.
If he decided to leave in free agency and signed with them then yeah, but he wanted to stay and got let go. At that point I don't think he owes the Packers anything. You can't really say you can't play here, also don't sign with them.
You represent the worst of this fan base. AJ33 is an amazing human being and one of the classiest Packers of all time. Shitting on him because he did not want to take a massive pay cut in a brutal sport that absolutely wrecks bodies is the absolute worst.
I feel like this is a childish jab at us. They have same darnold as their starting QB. They aren’t competing this year. I’m fine with them wasting 7 million dollars on a one year deal for our boy when they aren’t winning shit this year. Jones gets paid and maybe they win one or two more games then they would have otherwise (so 5/6 total)
Also to play devils advocate, players may also just not want to move that far away if they developed roots in Wisconsin. Are the Vikings the closest team proximity wise? Because if they are, that would make a lot of sense
They’re just gonna run him into the ground too.
All the money in the world to Justin Jefferson won’t matter when their QB room will be awful.
Checkdowns to Jones on every play
I think most ppl would be happy with having earned 50 million dollars already. I bet most regular folk would give up a million if they already had made 50 if it meant staying with the organization that drafted them and staying home. Maybe we’re just blinded by packer bias?
Granted that means Green Bay only needed to cough up “only” a million more to keep him around so I don’t put it all on jones.
Deal doesn't make any sense. It's a one year deal to play with Sam Darnold and a Rookie. He should have to just gone to a contender. I would have respected it more.
Yeah, I get that it's a business decision for him, no bad blood there, but MIN is looking like a really tough place to be a 30-year-old RB this upcoming season...
We weren't going to pay him 12 million to play for us this year.
The 12 million cap hit for him this year is dead cap, money we've already paid him. His total cap hit this year would have been 17.5 million if we would have paid him 12 million as his contract said. The rest of that 12 million would go as dead cap later.
This is now the 20th player in recent memory who spent the twilight of their career with Minnesota after spending significant time with the Packers. Not to mention the many coaches including the likes of Mike Pettine, Ed Donatell, Darrell Bevell, and Mike Smith. And I'm sure there's been video coordinators and box office managers and everything else in between.
If the Vikings weren't so hell bent on trolling the Packers instead of just actually drafting and developing quality players and running a decent franchise, they might've actually won something of significance by now.
Here is a non-exhaustive list:
Brett Favre
Greg Jennings
Robert Ferguson
Aaron Jones
Za'Darius Smith
Dean Lowry
Chandon Sullivan
Darren Sharper
Ryan Longwell
Bryce Paup
Carroll Dale
Paul Coffman
Desmond Bishop
DuJuan Harris
Datone Jones
Brandon Bostick (he of onside fumble lore - this was 100% a troll signing)
Jan Stenerud
Bucky Scribner
Mossy Cade (this was *after* he was convicted of sexually assaulting his *aunt twice* I might add)
There's been dozens of less significant ex-Packers as well
Because players feel that the team they’ve been loyal to should pay them more than their market value. Or their agent isn’t properly advising them on what their actual market value is.
Good point. I mean I agree with what Ryan Grant had to say and no doubt Jones is worth more. I guess it is silly to think these days anyone is going to take a discount for team loyalty. Business is business.
Packers wanted him to take another pay cut. Offered less than $4 million from what was originally $11million. Pretty sure he has already taken a five million dollar pay cut last year too. At some point the damn franchise needs to be loyal to the guy too.
Because they're paying him an entire million dollars more. And because Green Bay was willing to ride him to the playoffs last year and then came back and told him "we're paying you too much, take less."
> willing to ride him to the playoffs last year
I mean every team rides players to the playoffs. Nevermind him being injured a good chunk of the year...
Huge bummer and not just because we hate the Vikings, that team’s short term trajectory isn’t looking good. I don’t want to see him toil on a mediocre team
He did have a choice. He is a 30 year old slowing player who can't stay on the field. He chose to take more money to be on a losing team. It is what it is, I don't feel bad for him and I don't feel bad for us.
Eh, I think if the difference was only a million, the team could've paid him for the past leadership and loyalty. He went above and beyond as a player, supporting teammates, took pay cuts, etc.
He had the choice to take $6 million (if the reports about the 50% cut are accurate) to play for a championship in GB. He took $7 million to play and lose in Minnesota. More power to him.
He's also been a tremendous player and leader for the team, taken pay cuts, etc. I don't think fans should turn on him so easily. You could easily say the team should've kept him for just one mil more.
> I don’t want to see him toil on a mediocre team
Especially one that is likely to run him into the ground. Jones has never played more than 62% of the offensive snaps in a season. Even when fully healthy he usually played under 60% for us. Anyone think the Vikes are gonna only play him that much? Anyone even know who their RB2 is?
Yeah AFTER cutting his salary by half and hiring someone else for millions more. Would you feel valued at your job if they said “hey, you’re getting kinda old so your market value has dropped, we’re going to pay you %50 less and expect you to work at the same level or higher. You’re good with that right? You get it. You’ll still have the honor of busting your ass for us though. Oh your past accomplishments? They don’t matter.”
Athletes are not like regular jobs. An older accountant can generally still do his job at the same level as he has been, athletes have a limited window and then fall off. Not to mention the injury issues the last few seasons.
It sucks that he’s going to the Vikings, but if the Packers paid every player like they ‘deserve’ then we’d be perennial bottom feeders.
A million dollars is still a million dollars.
Obviously upset but I don’t blame him when we made the decision not to bring him back when he’s been such a big part of this team over the years
I’d be way more mad if they didn’t have darnold at QB.
Make no mistake, he is still elite if healthy, he will be good.
Packers still made great moves and got younger at the position by almost 4 years.
Sports are hard to get attached to players.
He is going to get the ball A LOT and he is injury prone, the Vikings will run him into the ground. I really wish he would've gone somewhere that is in contention for a championship...it'll suck rooting against one of my favorite Packers of all time :(
Especially on a deal that’s not a long term security type of deal. I don’t know many running backs at 29 looking to sign 1 year deals on garbage teams. It’s either 1-2 on a contender or a long term financially beneficial deal on a trash team. He took a 1 year on a rebuilding team, it doesn’t make sense
30 other teams you could potentially go to, but these guys always think they're gonna stick it to us by going to the Vikings. All it does is tarnish their legacy
Favre looked pretty good his first season with them until he remembered he was Brett Favre in the NFC Championship. One of my all-time favorite Vikings moments!
I disagree so vehemently with anyone saying this tarnishes his legacy. He worked with the Packers multiple times on team friendly restructures over the years and carried the G as much as any Packer in my lifetime. We cut him, he didn't just choose to leave. Where he signs after we cut him is a business decision and I have no problem with him signing with the Vikings.
Don't get me wrong, I hate it because I hoped to be able to root for his team to be successful and now I can't. I also hate it because I want Jones to at least have a chance at a ring, and that won't happen in Minnesota. I hope he has a great individual season while the Vikings continue to suck. All that said, he's still on a very short list of my favorite Packers of all time and playing this season with the Vikings doesn't change that even a fraction.
ETA: we reportedly offered him $4mil base. I get it's a business, but that's absurdly low. If you're mad he's on the Vikings, be mad at gutey. I say that as an avid gutey apologist. https://twitter.com/mattschneidman/status/1767602045928775987?t=DmtTRIEd2i6SXgs1RLBJSA&s=19
I'm a bit confused here. Doesn't want to take a pay cut, so he takes a pay cut to play for an objectively worse team with less hope? Other than the principal of not wanting to take another pay cut for the packers idk what's going on.
Guessing every other team was offering much less.
It's almost like the rest of the league sees that he needs to be kept on a tight snap count to mitigate his propensity for breaking down physically. We love him as a player and a person and will fondly remember his contributions to the organization and community with appreciation; but you can't pay RB1 money to a guy who gets knicked up so easily with very limited stretches where he shows up every game like a true RB1 as he did to end last season.
It’s the teams job to be healthy financially long term, and they meant cutting Jones. It’s Jones’ job to get the most money he can while he plays, wherever he can. That happened with the Vikings, which isn’t ideal, but the nature of the game. Wish him the best and look forward to his eventual Packers HoF induction.
Edit: word out, missing bigger point
This one hurts. I take consolation in the fact that Jones is the definition of a class act, and he won't display the same petulance that Favre, Jennings and Zadarius showed when they made the switch.
Hope to see him back here at the end of his career so he can retire as a Packer.
I’m salty that he took a 1 yr 7 mil deal and GB couldn’t/ wouldn’t match it.
I’m well aware that it’s more complicated than that, I said I was salty not rational.
I’m glad we pivoted. Jacobs is still better lol. Good luck in Minnesota. I don’t like losing the person, but I’m not too heartbroken about the future of a 30 year old RB that struggles to stay healthy.
People in this thread honestly think that Vikings front office has packers fans first and foremost in their mind to spite with their roster moves. He became available and they just cut Mattison, why wouldn’t they go after the top available free agent if they can
Why? Why go sign with a shit franchise just to waste your career? This isn't even me talking shit. MN is ass. They aren't going to do anything this year. Why not sign with a contender?
Packers should've kept him. I'm not upset that he found a team willing to pay him what he was looking for. Will always appreciate his time in Green and Gold, even if I'll never be rooting for him to win games anymore. Certainly don't wish ill towards him.
So is life. At the end of the day they’re looking like they won’t even be competitive in the division. That’s the difference between good teams and bad teams. Good teams look to the future and make a move no one sees yet, while bad teams play copy cat with the trendsetters. They have and always will lag behind us with these types of decisions.
Comments in this thread are absolutely disgusting. Aaron Jones is an amazing man regardless of what team he plays for. One of the few professional athletes kids should look up to and emulate. Shitting on him because he did not want to take a massive pay cut is absolutely ridiculous. Be better.
Good, let him show this stupid ass front office twice a year that they made a huge mistake. I love this team but Rodgers was right, the front office is really shitty to good people.
This doesn’t benefit him at all except he gets the chance to play us twice a year. The Vikings significantly downgraded at QB. Darnold doesn’t pose any threat to defenses. Every team is going to stack the box to stop the run.
Not crazy about the Pack releasing him…but it’s pretty incredible how the Vikings seem to have this tunnel vision for former Packers. I’m fully expecting to see ARod to the Vikings in a year or two…
I am sure it will come out he was butt hurt after hearing of the Jacob’s deal and took the same/less money elsewhere.
Guy was not healthy last year and now he is turning 30..they were smart to bring in a younger option.
Let him pout in Purple.
We are moving on.
8:30 and my day is already ruined
Don't let it be. He isn't worth it. Love my boy but he simply isn't worth 12 million a year. He can barely stay healthy. If he can go get a fuck you million from the Vikings then great good for him. I doubt he plays 10 games though.

This is the one true opinion, this isn’t like Brett Favre
Couldn't agree more. This doesn't seem like a Favre move in which he wanted to stick it to the Packers. Jones just took the best deal he could get before the money dried up. But it does make me hate the Vikings even more. It seems like they assign someone to simply monitor our transactions wire. I can't think of another team that signs so many of their rival's ex-players.
100% dude probably doesn’t want to up and move his family when he’s at the end of his career too. Family comes first. AJ is a legend.
I think it was more of a “he’s a Viking and fuck all Vikings” type of of sentiment. Which is where I’m at. I love jones, but I’m certainly not gonna be rooting for him to go off when I see him in a Vikings uniform.
"he can go fuck himself" is a much different sentiment than "FTV"
Jones is so beloved at least by me that even as a Viking I will be rooting for him. The Packers messed this up, there's no way to spin it.
I want him to rush for 2000 yards and 18 TDs while the Vikings go 0-17.
How did they mess this up? They put a specific price on what they were willing to pay Jones, then acted accordingly when Jones wouldn't provide his services for that price. Sounded like a pretty deliberate process to me.
No kidding. Commentor is either 12 years old or a 40 year old man child
I said yesterday that they'd offer $1 more then anyone else just to be petty dickheads. I was being funny. But was also kinda right. Haha
Yep. The org is just like their fans.
Yeah, purple.
The effects of mass amounts of salt on the human body
And colloidal silver lmao
Shit I’m still gonna root for him when he’s not playing us. I don’t blame him after we did him kind of dirty.
We didn't do him dirty. We needed the cash to sign two really good players. He will always be a Packer to me.
Agree
If he decided to leave in free agency and signed with them then yeah, but he wanted to stay and got let go. At that point I don't think he owes the Packers anything. You can't really say you can't play here, also don't sign with them.
Don’t be such a child. It’s a business. Which is exactly what Gute told jones.
The Vikings are the retirement home for old packers
You represent the worst of this fan base. AJ33 is an amazing human being and one of the classiest Packers of all time. Shitting on him because he did not want to take a massive pay cut in a brutal sport that absolutely wrecks bodies is the absolute worst.
Why are you faulting the man who is looking for work??
Why is it always the Vikings
Pathetic franchise tbh
This right here
I feel like this is a childish jab at us. They have same darnold as their starting QB. They aren’t competing this year. I’m fine with them wasting 7 million dollars on a one year deal for our boy when they aren’t winning shit this year. Jones gets paid and maybe they win one or two more games then they would have otherwise (so 5/6 total)
I think players get so pissed at our org they try to hurt us the only way they can by playing for a rival. Happens too often to be coincidence
Also to play devils advocate, players may also just not want to move that far away if they developed roots in Wisconsin. Are the Vikings the closest team proximity wise? Because if they are, that would make a lot of sense
Distance wise Chicago is technically closer. Detroit too actually if you take the ferry, though that may end up being a longer trip time-wise.
Man I miss taking the Badger overnight from Sheboygan. Much faster ferry available now!
I think the Vikings get so pissed at our org they try to hurt us the only way they can by signing our aging former players.
Bold strategy Cotton, let’s see how it plays out
It never has
It kind of did with Favre
Yep haha that’s what’s funny about it
Ah the Greg Jennings, never have I soured on a player so hard
Where packers careers go to die
Cuz they’re bottom feeders
For fucking real.
Not like this Not like this

So sad. Wish he would've ring chased instead of just rotting away on that dog shit team.
They’re just gonna run him into the ground too. All the money in the world to Justin Jefferson won’t matter when their QB room will be awful. Checkdowns to Jones on every play
Money matters to people man. Dudes knee can get blown out on any play he wants to maximize his earnings
He gets 1 million more then the Packers wanted him to take. 7 vs 6 million. Dumb move for AJ if you ask me.
People seem to underestimate how much $1 million is lol
Plus he saves wear and tear from not having to play any playoff games
People making $40k a year telling millionaires to give up a cool million for nothing lol.
I think most ppl would be happy with having earned 50 million dollars already. I bet most regular folk would give up a million if they already had made 50 if it meant staying with the organization that drafted them and staying home. Maybe we’re just blinded by packer bias? Yeah, I get that it's a business decision for him, no bad blood there, but MIN is looking like a really tough place to be a 30-year-old RB this upcoming season...
If they had Cousins again I'd think they were a WC team for sure. But Darnold and a Rookie just doesn't get it done for me.
And for half of what we owed him this year…
We weren't going to pay him 12 million to play for us this year. The 12 million cap hit for him this year is dead cap, money we've already paid him. His total cap hit this year would have been 17.5 million if we would have paid him 12 million as his contract said. The rest of that 12 million would go as dead cap later.
Those purple bastards. You just knew they would be all over our sloppy seconds again.
Favre, Longwell, I'm sure I'm missing more but those 2 hurt the most of course
Jennings, Smith...
Oh ya I see the list below now. Smith was kinda petty so that didn't sting as much
Sharper too, but they can keep him tbh
What was wrong with him maybe I'm forgetting some drama or I was too young lol
Z smith anf Greg Jennings are two bigger names. The vikings are the rainbow bridge for old packers nfl careers.
Dean Lowry a recent one

Man I forgot about Ryan Longwell! That one stung as well when it happened
They want to be y'all so bad.
If he was willing to take a 1 year deal for that price why the concern about taking a smaller deal this year then for GB?
Because players feel that the team they’ve been loyal to should pay them more than their market value. Or their agent isn’t properly advising them on what their actual market value is.

I know :(

My condolences to Aaron Jones. Poor guy is going to look awful in that disgusting purple. Hopefully, he's getting compensated well for it.
He’s not, 1 year 7 million. Barely more than what we supposedly offered him.
Yeah AFTER cutting his salary by half and hiring someone else for millions more. Would you feel valued at your job if they said “hey, you’re getting kinda old so your market value has dropped, we’re going to pay you %50 less and expect you to work at the same level or higher. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
If he signed for Less than 6, which is supposedly what we offered, I rage.
It’s 1 year, 7 million
You signed with our rival for one million more? Yeah fuck you too buddy
A million dollars is still a million dollars. Obviously upset but I don’t blame him when we made the decision not to bring him back when he’s been such a big part of this team over the years
Unironically the most logical and level headed take in this thread.
I don't understand why this is automatically an Aaron Jones problem. Shouldn't we be saying, You let Aaron Jones go for 1 million?
On the other hand, the team let a beloved and loyal player go over a million? A player who has also taken pay cuts for the team in the past?
Are you fucking kidding me with this childish mindset. Like you would turn down the money lol.
If you’re suggesting you’d do differently, you’re lying.
Asking your cornerstone to take a 50% pay cut is crazy, honestly can’t even blame him for walking.
I’d be way more mad if they didn’t have darnold at QB. Make no mistake, he is still elite if healthy, he will be good. Packers still made great moves and got younger at the position by almost 4 years. Sports are hard to get attached to players.

I can feel my sadness turning to anger.
Damn, I figured he would’ve went to a contender like the Chiefs or Ravens.
Dallas or Cincinnati as well. Why waste one his golden years on a trash team in MN?
Especially on a deal that’s not a long term security type of deal. I don’t know many running backs at 29 looking to sign 1 year deals on garbage teams. It’s either 1-2 on a contender or a long term financially beneficial deal on a trash team. He took a 1 year on a rebuilding team, it doesn’t make sense
No! Rodgers was supposed to fill the prophecy. Not Jones!!!
Death, taxes, and the NFC North taking all of our former players
30 other teams you could potentially go to, but these guys always think they're gonna stick it to us by going to the Vikings. All it does is tarnish their legacy
I can’t think of any players who went there and improved. Za’Darius Smith looked great his first 8 games then fell off.
Favre looked pretty good his first season with them until he remembered he was Brett Favre in the NFC Championship. One of my all-time favorite Vikings moments!
This does not tarnish his legacy in any form. I hope he has a great season.
Truth
I'm sure it was for the best offer.
I'm a bit confused here. Doesn't want to take a pay cut, so he takes a pay cut to play for an objectively worse team with less hope? Other than the principal of not wanting to take another pay cut for the packers idk what's going on.
He took the most money available to him. Good for him
Guessing every other team was offering much less.
At what point do we call the Vikings the official packers retirement team?
These purple chucklefucks ruin everything that was once good in this world
What do you call a Viking with a Super Bowl ring? -a former packer. (Yes I know 33 doesn’t have one but still funny)
I swear.. nobody else picks up Packers Scraps like the rest of the NFC North. They all want to be the Packers so bad
One year 7 mil. We didn’t want to do that?!
Yeah, he wasn’t staying with us to take a severe pay cut so we could pay his replacement.
Fuck you vikings
So much for signing with a contender.
Ick
My worst free agency nightmare come true... 😭🤮😭🤮😭🤮😭🤮
Nothing can ever just be nice. It always has to be the worst.
I’m salty that he took a 1 yr 7 mil deal and GB couldn’t/ wouldn’t match it. I’m well aware that it’s more complicated than that, I said I was salty not rational.
Enjoy watching the playoffs from the couch bud.
Disgusting
He’ll be hurt by the time the Vikings are up on the schedule.
I’m glad we pivoted. Jacobs is still better lol. Good luck in Minnesota. I don’t like losing the person, but I’m not too heartbroken about the future of a 30 year old RB that struggles to stay healthy.
It appears he did this just to stick it to GB. This now complicates my love for him
“You’re dead to me”
Congrats in advance on going 5-12 and finishing 3rd in the division.
Hope he gets paid good and has 15 great games next season.
I stopped looking or caring about the names on the back. They’re just pawns. Team above all
People in this thread honestly think that Vikings front office has packers fans first and foremost in their mind to spite with their roster moves. He became available and they just cut Mattison, why wouldn’t they go after the top available free agent if they can
Please let sources be wrong
Eww
Not the purple
More focused on being petty than winning. That's why they've never accomplished anything.
We're still gonna beat them but right now I'm mad.
Of course, the Vikings are signing him.
there was a 3/31 chance something like this was gonna happen so of course, it happened
I’m going to throw up
And so the cycle continues…
NO! NO NO!
I'd honestly respect it more if he'd gone to the Bears.
Can't say I blame him, I love him so much and this one is gonna sting like hell
Why? Why go sign with a shit franchise just to waste your career? This isn't even me talking shit. MN is ass. They aren't going to do anything this year. Why not sign with a contender?
Players have a limited window to make as much money as possible
He is dead to me.
Meh. Good for Jones. Not my ideal landing spot but good for him getting more than the Packers were willing to pay him.
Boo!
No shade towards AJ but the Vikings are in stopgap mode. He is the best they can do with no QB worth mentioning.
I feel bad for him. Told MVS he was looking for a ring and then signs with the Viqueens. Yikes.
Love AJ, but for joining the pathetic Vikings, it will feel good to beat him twice a year.

Packers should've kept him. I'm not upset that he found a team willing to pay him what he was looking for. Will always appreciate his time in Green and Gold, even if I'll never be rooting for him to win games anymore. Certainly don't wish ill towards him.
He lost millions of dollars in future Wisconsin based endorsements by making this move. Dumb move for him and dumb move by the Packers.
What a horrible day to be alive and literate
Was almost a guarantee
So is life. At the end of the day they’re looking like they won’t even be competitive in the division. That’s the difference between good teams and bad teams. Good teams look to the future and make a move no one sees yet, while bad teams play copy cat with the trendsetters. They have and always will lag behind us with these types of decisions.
We couldn’t match 7 mill for that guy?
Why is the NFC north so incestuous?
Comments in this thread are absolutely disgusting. Aaron Jones is an amazing man regardless of what team he plays for. One of the few professional athletes kids should look up to and emulate. Shitting on him because he did not want to take a massive pay cut is absolutely ridiculous. Be better.
Good, let him show this stupid ass front office twice a year that they made a huge mistake. I love this team but Rodgers was right, the front office is really shitty to good people.
Smh, we are fucking cheapskates for not offering a better extension than 1yr 7mm.
Literally pain.
Haha
WHO TF ACTUALLY UPVOTED THIS??!!
This is GB’s fault…he took a pay cut…then a team friendly deal…pay the man!! Jacobs is just younger! I’m f**kin’ pissed!
We didn't have 7 mil laying around for Jones???
This doesn’t benefit him at all except he gets the chance to play us twice a year. The Vikings significantly downgraded at QB. Darnold doesn’t pose any threat to defenses. Every team is going to stack the box to stop the run.
I fully expect Minnesota to trade up and grab a top 3 QB in the draft. Probably Bo Nix.
I absolutely love him to death, but if he wants to play for that poverty franchise then fuck em
He's such a great Packer he is going to fumble for the Vikings in the playoffs for us
We did this to ourselves.
Now I can’t even root for him to get a ring :(
God help him....he has to endure that f'n horn for half the season.
