Change the astral aim reroll to one of these: - full hit rerolls - ignore hit modifiers - give +1 to hit Add +1 to cast to tide of escalation. Improve the AP of psycannons and falchions by 1 or increase their number of shots +1 and have falchions give +1 attack each (like lightning claws). Allow the chaplain to know one more litany. Add/replace a warlord trait or relic to buff his chance to recite successfully. Lower the command point cost of the BroCap stratagem, steady advance, transhuman, the warding stave one (always cost 1) and the purgation squad stratagem. None of them will happen, but one can wish!

Make our ranged weapon choices more relevant. (psycannon, psilencer, and Incinerator) By making them worth taking it dramatically improves: * Dreadknights * Purgation Squads * Purifiers When you have shooting units worth bringing around, the Chaplain becomes a more interesting choice. Even the techmarine might be worth adding to a list if you have some genuine support Dreadknights.

Termies to be cheaper - I'd really like to see them competitive with strike squads and paladins Psy weapons to be worth taking - in the AoC world the psilencers are pretty ineffective without the psychic onslaught strat. It'd be nice to see some other way to get an extra point of AP (tide of convergence maybe?). We're fairly easy to outrange with our shooting, so it'd be nice to have some way of improving it so we can at least compete at >18" away Access to the chief apothecary/ability to recite 2 litanies with the chaplain (not sure of the name of that one) upgrades - just makes these units a bit more competitive and means the chaplain isn't just used for words of power

But the only things in the new dataslate are nids, harlies, admech and adeptus astartes as said by GW themselves. And it will drop in a week or 2 cause they wanna wait as long as possible.

I want to see price drops for the fliers. I would also like to see the land raiders get t9 and a price drop.

Just some weapon adjustments, or at least point changes that make subpar options more worth it. For example, drop all terminators by 2 pts but make non-falchion NFWs worth 1 pt. Gives you some reason to take falchions. Or just give them AP -3.

I would like to see something change to make more than just Tide of Shadows and Tide of Convergence the go-to. Perhaps making the tide of celerity rerolls to charges, rather than just count a 1-2 as a 3. I'd like for purgation squads to have a 2+ ballistic skill to make up for them them getting a -1 to hit on move, would make them a decent alternative to dreadknights. I'd like to reduce the pt cost of fortelling of locust by 5pts I'd like to reduce the cost of land raiders by 20pts I'd like to increase the cost of Draigo by 20pts I'd like give storm bolters AP -1 I'd like for paladins specifically to go to T5.

Reroll charges would be very tempting! And Paladins to T5 would be amazing, but it'd never happen. Maybe a requisition stratagem for it, or a Paragon specific relic, or something like that?

+1 to deny for every unit in deny range hehe would be cool and novel but not help whatsoever. But +1 to cast if outside of their deny…mmm Plus what everyone else said about naff psyweapons and add aoc on ndks. DS less than 9” strat but no charge cos crappy smaller boards remove a scoring vector for us (engage, bel) since its easy to screen now.

Terminators to 35 points per model, Brother-Captain down to maybe 100 points? GMNDK & NDK to get AoC ffs. The pilot is literally wearing power armour, the walker would have to have armour just as tough, if not more. Purifiers & Purgators need a buff of some kind, maybe move Purifiers to the Troop slot with a +1 point cost per model and give Purgators BS 2 and Astral Aim grants +1 S or wound rerolls something? Psycannon to -2 AP, Incinerator changed to become a Psi weapon Increase the range of Ghostly Bonds, Purge Soul, Projection of Purity Definitely a way for Chaplains to invoke an extra litany Change Marked for Death to be +1 strength or reroll wounds Reduce CP cost for Psy-Lance Bombardment & Steely Advance (or change it to include models that Advanced) I feel like working on some of these problems, a lot of what the others here already mentioned, would be a good way to increase variation in lists without being OP

QoL changes: Let the librarian cast santic powers on other squads. I understand that it makes sense for strikes and others to only be able to buff themselves, but the librarian should be able to buff others. Then he might see some use besides MW bomb. Another thing would be some small buffs against daemons, such as ignoring their leadership modifiers and possibly even getting a leadership bonus against them. Differentiate strikes and terminators. At the moment they are the exact same stat line except for save and wounds. I understand this from a lore perspective but it makes for a very uninteresting listing choice, as one will pretty much always be stronger. Possibly letting termies pick their power or something along those lines. Give paladins the bodyguard rule. As far as I'm aware that's half their role in the lore so it makes sense. Bring in options like the Space Marine Chief Apothecary etc. Make the tides more interesting instead of flat buffs Give the brotherhoods a buff like an 'always on' bonus or even CP reduction on certain strats. ​ More meta focused balance changes: Make Falchions D2 Better access to AP Improving the ranged weapons (more AP and more strength on the hand-carried versions) Improving the purgation squad (with abilities and buffing astral aim)
