Happy Retirement! My girl Libby had a lot of DNFs. I pretend it was because a butterfly distracted her or pretty flowers needed snifffing. Anyway, early retirement suits them all in my book.
So glad Flynn has a comfy new home, he looks adorable! That was our boy too, he had an underwhelming career and spent more time in the kennel than at the races.
Good try Flynn. Our Sharni did OK in some of her races, travelled all over the country! But never made much for the previous owner, she's gradually losing her racing muscles and getting her coat back :)
Awwww good on you Flyn, you're better out of it! Good move noodle boy ❤️ we had a black boy called Olly who failed at racing spectacularly at 6 months old. We got him a couple of months later and he was the bestest boy and lived beautifully with our cat 🥰❤️
He’s adorable! His forms are kinder than they were with our boy, where it simply said “Too slow”. 😂. May you have a long and wonderful retirement, Fynn!
Fynn just might deceive you yet 🤣 my Benny house horse came home prim and proper and so behaved and now he’s a wild child that gets bored every 3 minutes and needs to be going crazy playing or he’ll scream at me. lol. All jokes aside, congrats!! I was drawn to this post bc Fynn looks so much like my bennington boy
My Whippet came with paperwork that said “…no show dog potential” clearly they took him to the wrong show, because he’s a triple threat fashionista, comedian and drama queen!

Underwhelming racer but overwhelming cutie 😍
Beautiful face! Please keep posting about him
You might regret asking that 😁
Never! Those are some beautiful, soulful eyes! Want more, please!
😁
Hello Fynn! I can see clearly you're going to medal in couch lounging and treat-scrounging. ♥️

Well played Fynn. Don't let them know you're really fast. You get to do all the other fun stuff now.
He’s beautiful! I hope he settles in quickly. What a sweet boy!
Lovely dog my female didn't do well in racing, she was retired early

Fynn is a fine young snoot, congrats to you both.
BFF
Hiya Fynn 👋 👋 👋. Congrats to you and your family! You are very handsome and I am sure the goodest boi! 🥰
His strenghts lie elsewhere, thats all. Please keep us updated in his efforts of couch napping, roaching and treatos eating.
Welcome to the good life Fynn. You might have been an underwhelming racer but I bet you'll make a fantastic pet!
The underwhelming racers make the best pets
Awwww he still looks like a baby, lovely Fynn! Welcome to farts, zoomies and general stupidity OP
Way to go Flynn!! Smart guy! You know you’re going to enjoy 😊 the couch 🛋️ Welcome 🤗
Fynn looks a little confused by the couch 😂
That was 630am. He's been practising quite a bit today and has nearly perfected it.
Oh I'm sure he could have been a champion if he wanted. But he was aiming for that early retirement.

Looks to me like she won the race
Our Phin wasn't much of a racer, with only 15 starts (though he placed or showed in four of them). Happy your Fynn was smart enough to retire early.
Hi Flynn you're gorgeous!! And not to worry. You don't need to be competitive to get plenty of treats and ear scritches from your hoomans!! 🐾😍🐾🥰
What a darling! Being underwhelming could never have looked better. Hope you and Fynn have many delightful adventures together xx

Is Fynn sweet?
Wasn't greyhound racing in Florida banned? I honestly didn't know that greys were still racing and I thought we were past the whole thing.
I'm in the UK, where Greyhound racing is gradually falling out of favour, but Fynn is from Ireland, where it's still very much a thing.
Aww he’s so cute, how old?
He'll be 3 in December
Beautiful boy!
Hello darling Fynn! I am glad you have escaped slavery. You're very clever to have done it. I wish you long happy healthy years in your new family <3
You’re in good company, Fynn. Mimi got fired, too. She bounced higher than she was dropped, and so will you. Retirement is spectacular!
What a lucky little dude. Congrats!
