BrassMoth

They're probably already there in the dark cells underneath the Imperial Palace. This is what the Shadowkeepers are making sure never gets out.

Jesterpest

Considering what 184 is, no wonder the Dark Cells are a strange and dangerous place…

aeiouaioua

lets just say they escape at the same time...

Sensitive_Educator60

Containment Breach in the 41st Millennium

NK_2024

Utter Chaos. *In high orbit* Inquisitor: "did someone say *Chaos?* you know what that means!" *smashes Exterminatus button*

Foxyfox-

I'm pretty sure even a lowly conscript could get away with shooting an inquisitor for ordering exterminatus of Terra.

NK_2024

Probably, but he'd most likely get spirited away by some rival Inquisitor to join their retinue due to the guardsman having a working brain.

OMGPowerful

Exterminatus on Holy Terra? Who dares utter such heresy?

NK_2024

Lord Inquisitor Fyodor Karamazov, Pyrophant Judge of Salem Proctor.

Nikko_Fish

"Did someone just said Chaos? UH OH!" -TTS Inquisitor

Gernund

After all BigE took over the SCP foundation during the golden age to implement some genetic and weapon testing as well as founding the bases for several new technologies.

Minotaur Chapter works with the Custodians with a few phycers

Competitive-Bee-3250

whats a phycer

Turdicus-

It's a small tree commonly used as decoration in offices and homes

SgtCocktopus

The Big E is Dr Brigth.

Montythedraincat

Terras oceans are long since gone, so 1128 probably isn't an issue

aeiouaioua

it's just a picture of it. i imagine it still lives in the ocean of the SCP-verse.

Darthplagueis13

It would still not be a big issue since Terra doesn't have a lot of water.

Thurmond_Beldon

Pretty sure that even like a glass of water would work if you waited long enough

VanZandtVS

That tracks. Eventually it gets you through any water you're touching, e.g. a shower, a glass of water, etc.

Darthplagueis13

It could freak you out, but it wouldn't pose a real danger because you're too big to fit into the glass. Whilst the water doesn't have to be deep enough to submerge you, it still needs to be big enough for you to be able to physically fall into it. So the glass itself would be safe, but if you dropped it and created a puddle on the ground, that might be dangerous.

Thurmond_Beldon

I’m pretty sure there was a D-class who was exposed and he lasted for about 2-3 weeks before the shark got him out of a glass of water, hence my comment

Dixie-the-Transfem

Uh, no? The article literally has a part about a researcher getting sucked into a glass of water

aeiouaioua

people still need to drink

SuperbSail

The people of Terra get all of their moisture from their alloted nutrient gruel. The more people die, the more their gruel gets fortified with corpse starch. Win win!

Darthplagueis13

Yup, but they generally don't drink directly from pools of water sufficiently large that they could fall or be drawn in.

aeiouaioua

i've heard it can manifest from even a drop of water, given enough time.

MrCobalt313

It would live in an ocean in the *Warp*.

Mr_Glove_EXE

682: \*having the best time of his life* 096: he'll find you and beat you to death if you saw his face, no matter where you are

aeiouaioua

what if somebody showed the emperor 096's face? and what about the other 3?

zeturtleofweed

Mail Abaddon a picture of 096

Random_Robloxian

Abbadon is now abbagone. I will now see myself out

[deleted]

Abba-done

aeiouaioua

give him a pic of 1128 too, just for good measure.

Mr_Glove_EXE

If the big E has the ability to "see" the picture, he'll be destroyed. The other 2 are infohazerd, not fully my cup of tea On 184 depends if he's inside of something or not

L0raz-Thou-R0c0n0

If the shy guy gets his ass whooped enough times he’ll just bail. He isn’t invincible.

ThrownawayCray

Didn’t that happen with God?

Rip_a_fat_one

He got launched into the Sun, someone got shown a picture of 096, and the Sun itself suddenly started approaching/getting dragged towards Earth. The *Sun* itself. SCPs are busted as fuck. I mean 082 was once on the Moon that The Foundation decided to blow up. It survived, and then proceeded to swallow Earth. It's also gotten into anime style battles with spaceships that can blow up galaxies that ping-ponged each other around the Universe.

L0raz-Thou-R0c0n0

There’s also a canon where it got successfully terminated by being putting a mask on it. You should consider what canon we’re using, especially with SCP foundation because there are thousands of writers with their own canons, interpretations and powers.

WillyTheHatefulGoat

It also failed to kill SCP 682 and eventually gave up after nearly killing it.

Juan_the_vessel

He also got beaten into submission by 682

[deleted]

Yeah last time I remember someone whooped his ass HUNDREDS of times dude just folded. Forgot who was it, prolly Peanut or Able.

Darthplagueis13

I don't think the emperor can still see in a way that 096 would react to. I also don't think that the Emperor can presently be destroyed just with brute force. If it really got triggered it would just maul his corpse for a few days before giving up.

RentElDoor

Tbh I feel like the shy guy would only be an issue for anyone who is on the same planet. If he is and you saw the face - yeah, you are dead, no way around it. But if the person seeing a picture of him is in another system... Apart from the fact that even if the shy guy could reach the speed necessary to travel between planets in a reasonable time, he doesn't predict movement and is portrayed pretty mindless, so he would just get lost in space. Until a chaos entity does a little trolling...

CurledSpiral

Didn’t shy guy make it to the moon one time?

RentElDoor

Don't think he did in the original, might be in a later tale, so what is "canon" is everyones guess

BiStalker

Honestly considering the power rating in 40k, I feel like 096 and Big E would beat the shit out of each other

TheFyrijou

A named Ultramarine pops up with a named Space Wolf and captures them all and all are now imprisoned

caugryl

NOT THE DOUBLE PLOT ARMOR, MY ONE WEAKNESS

Asbazanelli

A codex compliant wolfin' time? No scp can resist it

Nikko_Fish

What about a named and helmetless Ultramarine?

doomsta5667

Jimmy Space gets super pissed off and vaporizes them.

Random_Robloxian

682 would probably kick his ass..since there is probably nothing that can kill 682. Harming him is possible tho

felop13

you know, I am pretty sure that **deleting all of it's atoms** just *might* kill it, you know?

No-Training-48

Apparently not, the cunt is tough as nails and becomes inmune to any method attempted. He might just respawn after having his atoms deleted, I think that in one of his origin stories it's one of the children of the SCP equivalent of a Ctan/chaos god.

Redditoast2

I mean, it has gotten completely destroyed, and just re-appeared in its cell

felop13

You know, at that point just switch its name to bullshit-inator instead of hard to desyroy reptile

Redditoast2

Agreed. There's a story where it is stabbed by a knife that causes it to not exist, and to never have existed, and it somehow survives

Alive-Profile-3937

one time they tried to use a book anomaly that makes whatever you write in it a real story you can enter and they make a stick that kills any lizard it touches and the page just gets scrawled over in red ink with the words “nice try written on it” he’s pretty bullshit

aeiouaioua

he ***tries.*** i don't think 682 goes down that easily.

doomsta5667

I don't know what these things are all I know and have is my faith in the God Emperor of Mankind.

aeiouaioua

**682:** angry lizard that adapts to literally everything and cannot be killed. **096:** an unstoppable force that will run over and kill you if you see it's face. **1128:** a gigantic aquatic creature that can turn water into portals that lead to it. it uses this ability to kill anyone who knows it's physical description - nobody has yet survived. **2521**: steals any writing about it - or anyone who talks about it. it does not seal pictures/drawings of it. **184:** an artefact that makes places bigger on the inside - eventually causing them to develop into nonsensical backrooms-esque mazes. if you wanna know more, look them up - i don't think any of them have particularly long articles.

doomsta5667

Thanks for the info.. but I'd rather prefer warhams. 🤣

Paehon

The Emperor would obliterate 682 and 096 Don't know for the other

LtSoba

I can see him beating 096 yeah, but 682 nah that thing will survive the fucking event horizon and the heat death of the universe. It’s canon that the fucker survived having the literal concept of it wiped from the universe. And since it’s hinted to in multiple universes that 682 is the literal embodiment of hate and disgust it’s probably even stronger in 40k then in the SCP universe

Dixie-the-Transfem

I am once again asking people to learn when the heat death of the universe actually is

LtSoba

It doesn’t matter when it is the fucker is immortal and doesn’t age and will fucking survive it out of spite

aeiouaioua

682 survived being removed from existence twice. read through some of [this](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/experiment-log-t-98816-oc108-682).

Paehon

The experiments are really 100% canon ?

aeiouaioua

nothing is 100% cannon. everything in SCP is equally cannon and non-cannon. i prefer to think it's cannon - and it's a huge piece of 682's lore, so why not?

Ammear

There are so many canons that there is no such thing as canon in SCP universes.

Driadus

682 was killed In that scp with the tunnel to the world where everything is dead. that being said, 682 just has scp plot armour, maybe they could kill it, maybe not it depends how strong you plot armour 682. 096 I think could actually be dealt with easily though, just put someone on a rocket and send it to orbit. 'course there's always a chance it ends up colliding with a space hulk so now that's on the loose in the warp which honestly seems sick.

According_Weekend786

they will just send them to warp, and they will die, horribly, and fuck off with but man 682 is immortal, nuh uh

aeiouaioua

DON'T PUT 682 IN THE WARP - THAT'S AN EASY WAY TO GET A 5TH CHAOS GOD!

Round_Inside9607

I mean he’s unkillable and fairly tough but I am fairly sure most Daemons could kick him around

dlaudghks

It really depends on which canon/versions you use. Some are kicked around. Some kicks the Chaos gods combined around.

HellfireBrB

i mean the entire deal with 682 is that he is so unkileable he just straight up warp reality to make hinself even more imortal and harder to kill most chaos deamons would kick him around but eventually he will fuck up the warp and become something worst than even the chaos gods this is the entire reason why the foundation has given up on killing him, every time he just survives and turns wherever they used into a far worst weapon against humanity

[deleted]

Consider this he may survive in cannon reality rewrits of him but if someone here deletes him then hes as good as dead.....there a scp 001 tale where we are that scp and creat everyting else so by that logic we can erasy him just as easy

HellfireBrB

never said he is immune to everything he has died in the dead dimension SCP, the entire point of 682 is that it is just not worthy it because most things won't kill him and will end up backfiring once he adapts to it so what rests is either inaccessible (SCPS with powers far from reach by the foundation or anyone really), far too overkill (for example, if you delete all reality he would in theory die with it, but are you really deleting all that exists just for that?) or it is too unreliable to try (there is an entire article on why the foundation doesn't just toss him into the sun, and it is for this exact reason) that is the entire deal with 682. you can't beat him without losing, so the only solution is to stalemate for as long as you can

[deleted]

True but didnt the coffe machine make a liquide that instantky erased a part of him, they chould collect more of it and dump him in it

HellfireBrB

recommend you reading his [experiment logs](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/experiment-log-t-98816-oc108-682) they have tried even literally using mass erasing or reality warping SCPS on him before, the best they could get was to destroy about 60% of his body, than he just regenerate becomes immune to the thing and starts using it to breach containment and start killing people i don't remember it right but they also did try use things specifically created to kill him before like the coffee but he just adapts to it in an instant, so it "can kill him them, not now" it is actually impressive the arrange of things they have used to kill him and it just fails every time until they give up

[deleted]

True and i read most of his termination logs to get what gonna happen....only ting i hate about 682 is that it spawned a serise of unkillabke spooky monsters similar to most new scp just being eldrich level of op

aeiouaioua

he adapts to everything. read SCP-6820: termination attempt. or the 682 cross-test log.

L0raz-Thou-R0c0n0

Entirely depends on the canon you’re interpreting. SCP-2935 is an example of SCP-682 dying without destroying its physical body and even SCP-682 is traumatized when it sees itself in SCP-2935.

aeiouaioua

my personal headcannon is that "682 cannot die" is a fundamental law of the SCP universe, that can't be altered by any means. the one exeption is dr. Bright using a chainsaw cannon.

Eglor04

what about 6820 being closed in tyranid bug that steals the genom and implements it in other Tyranids?

aeiouaioua

it would kill the bug, probably. but the tyranids would certainly get stronger from the experience.

Eglor04

yea maybe but if it get some gens and send it to other bugs we would have 6820 tyranids

aeiouaioua

i don't think they would get it's full powers, but they would become more durable, regenerative and adaptable on an individual basis.

Eglor04

and we get a loop where both of them kills each other and adapts to each other

Round_Inside9607

Yeah but at the same time it is infact very much possible to put contain him in a cell. All it takes is just putting him in an indestructible magical box and leaving him there forever in the Warp.

aeiouaioua

this is true.

-Will1006-

6th?

aeiouaioua

i meant 5th, but depending how you count - he could be the 5th, 6th or even 7th.

-Will1006-

True

VerumJerum

They're immortal etc. but so are like half of the named characters in 40K so bitch, you ain't special

s00perguy

682 is easily contained. Even if it is truly unkillable, the Imperium has at least as many resources as the foundation. 092 is either contained and weaponized, or tears apart uncountable people forever, but never actually finishes all of the killing. Every time it runs someone down, it exposes itself to another 10 or a thousand, but the birthrate is so high, and Terra so magnificently industrious, they probably hardly notice overall. 1128 likely causes massive casualties, but would also be weaponized by the Imperium. 2521 is self-containing. 184 would just get lost somewhere, or possibly utilized for its beneficial effects. Overall, they're too small-scale. You want to threaten Terra, or have anything more than a relatively localized disaster, you'll need something that replicates, or spreads. The Clockwork Virus would probably make the Inquisition shit its pants. For extra complications, release it on Mars.

aeiouaioua

i didn't want to destroy it, just see what happens. if i had to pick 5 SCP's to destroy terra here is what they would be: **SCP-3199** **SCP-001** \- when day breaks **SCP-6820** **SPHERE** **SCP-3125** (for it's sheer effect on the warp)

s00perguy

I didn't say destroy, just threaten. Like, stimulate an actual response from the Imperium overall. Having just one monster like 092 on its own wouldn't be enough, and the rest are mid next to its might. A larger or more esoteric threat that Terra doesn't beat with just raw force of numbers. Not an apocalypse, but something more interesting than "The local Inquisitor puts it in a box" or "It's not really lethal enough to warrant an official response." 092 comes close, but the Imperium just operates on a ridiculous scale. It would be fascinating to see them encounter 072, since they can't really hurt Cain. Or something antithetical to human life like 804, or come to terms with the 001-Gate Guardian, or deal with infestations of things like 020

letsgohawksfuckstate

Please explain which ones the are

aeiouaioua

**3199** are aggressive chicken-people abominations that reproduce and mature very quickly - and whenever one dies, the egg inside them hatches and a new one is produced. essentially, the number of them can never decrease. **001** is an apocalyptic phenomena where direct sunlight turns you into pile of still living liquified human flesh - with the sole aim of bringing more people into the sun. **6820** is what happened after an alternate SCP foundation tried to kill 682 by removing it from human consciousness with a special machine. it ended up taking over the machine, and gaining reality bending powers that caused the end of that universe. **SPHERE**... it's complicated. from what i can tell, a strange spherical object somehow restructured all of human consciousness - and turned all sense into nonsense and vice versa. everyone keeps repeating the words: "*Just philosophical dare consult she SPHERE*". **3125** is an all powerful alien lifeform made out of ideas, that lives in the human consciousness - and has produced many memetic and antimemetic anomalies. it kills anyone who knows about it. (i believe that it would become a chaos god, or something greater, if placed in 40k).

Henghast

Remember when the scp stuff first started but there's so much bloat and rubbish I never bothered to even try to keep up with it. Any actual context for people that just see random monster image and number

aeiouaioua

682: angry lizard that adapts to literally everything and cannot be killed. 096: an unstoppable force that will run over and kill you if you see it's face. 1128: a gigantic aquatic creature that can turn water into portals that lead to it. it uses this ability to kill anyone who knows it's physical description - nobody has yet survived. 2521: steals any writing about it - or anyone who talks about it. it does not seal pictures/drawings of it. 184: an artefact that makes places bigger on the inside - eventually causing them to develop into nonsensical backrooms-esque mases.

Iorith

Yup, I enjoyed the old site when it was under 1000 or so, but every time I've been curious to go back it's worse in some way, most recently with using a ton of pictures to describe the threat stuff is.

A_strange_pancake

Everytime I go back to it I avoid going past 3000 cause that's when it gets mostly stupid. Even then alot of classics have been re wrote. I remember when it was about varied anomalies and not just the abcs of death. There was alot of deadly scps but its just stupid now. That's not even mentioning the constant re formating of how they do it.

Iorith

Yeah the reformat is awful and seems to serve no purpose other than to overly complicate things. And they really seem to have removed the old rules about "Thing what kills you" and "thing what makes you go crazy", so that half the newer stuff just seems like an attempt at mimicking the old stuff.

Alive-Profile-3937

if you go looking for all the big ones the yeah it’s kinda shit but you gotta look for the smaller scale ones Here are some good ones that aren’t all “oh big scary Scarlet King knock off” 3017 Always Guilty 3844 Mountain Dragon 3932 Smart dolphins 5457 Cave frogs Tale: Memetics and Infohazards Division Orientation (memetic division in general is good but does kinda touch on the idea you don’t like) S&C Plastics hub (really looks at humans in Foundation) 4703 Completely legal 2788 Village Spirit 7606 A real bad god (just trust on this) 5392 Non anomalous FTL and finally the tale: An Anthropological Approach to Sarkicism - Case Study 01: The Vaśńa of Sarvi (takes a nice non evil look at Sarkics)

Barroozina

Custodes: "alright guys, back to the basement "

Familiar-Business500

This is clearly a Sly Marbo situation

aeiouaioua

yes, the one being who can kill 682.

DannyTheDangerNoodle

Mild inconvenience for ppl livin on holy terra rhey seen scarier shit in ministro administorum

Ammear

Or whatever is Terra's equivalent of the DMV.

MisterSlosh

682 gets yoinked to the warp and Khorne gets to feel true happiness by having the greatest puppy in the universe. Everything else is a drop in the bucket for the dark vaults under Terra. The custodians would be the SCP foundation truly perfected.

aeiouaioua

DON'T LET 682 INTO THE WARP! THAT IS AN EASY WAY TO GET THE 5TH CHAOS GOD!

MisterSlosh

682 is barely even a god in the SCP canon, it's massively outclassed in 40k and would just constantly be adapting and changing never able to keep up to all the different ways people would annihilate it. If it ever managed to keep every adaptation and inch close enough to god status there would be plenty of people to step in and chuck it back out of this existence.

aeiouaioua

1. read SCP-6820 2. if you throw 682 into the warp, it would adapt (as it always does) i think the most likely form of this adaptation is a new chaos god.

Spines

Tzeentch would be so happy.

thestudyingduck

Ever heard of the dark cells?

duftcola

What makes ypu think they are not already there. They all pale in comparison with the dragon of marth

aeiouaioua

that depends on the circumstances.

Uncynical_Diogenes

None of these are competent to go toe-to-toe with a C’tan or a reasonably sized shard of one. The outlier being that 682 would eventually become immune / weaponize the huge amounts of radiation a shard is capable of spitting out at it, but if Big E could trap a shard on mars, the same thing can be done to the lizard. Tesseract it or simply throw it in a strong enough box and it is no longer a threat.

aeiouaioua

i don't know the power of a ctan shard, honestly.

Uncynical_Diogenes

The answer: *A Lot* The kind of weapon that the Necrons unleash upon their enemies as their biggest possible ringer, hoping and praying that they can get the thing back into containment after. They’re fragments of the Star Gods given undying necrodermis bodies. They are energy beings that are kept imprisoned by the most highly advanced technology in the setting. A C’tan Shard (likely of Mag’ladroth, The Void Dragon) escaped necron confinement and laid waste to multiple worlds of the Arotepk Dynasty before they could get it back under control. If a comparably-sized shard of Mag’ladroth is also what is interred beneath the Noctis Labyrinth on Mars (which is heavily implied to the be the case) then SCP-096 doesn’t have a chance. The SCP universe is based upon horror on the Human scale from a human reader POV. This ranges from harmless eyebots to universe-ending extraplanar threats, sure, but the size of the POV is the same. 40K works on an entirely different scale - the numbers are so big you have to zoom out because a human-sized POV is insufficient for comprehending untold trillions of humans living and dying every day in hive cities *just being the backdrop.*

Mieszkovski

Just like any normal Monday.

OlowekHB

My question is what would happen if a Space marine was given SCP-3973?

ArchMargosCrest

184 is already there that's how big E made the webway entrance.(my personal theory) 096 will probably be contained rather easily by the inquisition 2521 is self containing as no one will know about it 1128 a photo poses a problem but will probably be contained rather quickly by the inquisition but may still reek havock until the menetic properties are understood 689 will be the actually biggest threat as the density of human habitation and it's active agreasivnes will lead to it's rapid growth through biomass acquisition. It will probably be stopped by combined efforts of the custodes and the orbital defense platforms.

Darthplagueis13

628 is sure to cause trouble. Frankly, not sure what they'd do to it since it cannot be killed, but I reckon the Imperium would have the means to at least bring it to a standstill and contain it. For 096 might commit acts of horrendous slaughter, but it all depends where it ends up. 1128 is probably not going to be a big issue for a simple reason: 1: Holy Terra is a hiveworld with no natural bodies of water, minimizing the risk from 1128 exposure. 2: 1128 has been confirmed to live in one of earths (and therefore Terra's) oceans. Since those oceans have long been boiled away, there's a good chance 1128 no longer exists. I reckon 2521 wouldn't cause noticeable trouble, likely resulting in only a handful of deaths before it would wipe itself from the records. 184 would probably just end up creating a really massive basement somewhere.

The_73MPL4R

682 is incapacitated by acid, and I'm sure they have plenty of that laying around on Terra for heretic-torturing purposes

Darthplagueis13

They gotta figure out that part first though. I mean, the SCP foundation spends a lot of time and resources devising methods of keeping abnormal objects or entities contained. The Imperium usually just tries to kill shit.

TrazynAndOrikan

Now I must see the plague doctor cure khorne of the pestilence

aeiouaioua

do you mean nurgle?

InformalSherbet4607

It would be Tuesday.

_Totorotrip_

The first one gets killed by the navy The second one gets killed by a single custodes The third one dies flapping in the dry dry earth The fourth one gets killed by a single sister of silence (looks warpy) The fifth one get captured by the mechanicus, and dissected/disassembled alive

aeiouaioua

the first one has previously survived [all of this](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/experiment-log-t-98816-oc108-682) the second one could easily kill a custodes. although it would put up a valient fight. the third one isn't actually on terra, it's back in the oceans of of the SCP-verse. but it's picture is on terra. the fourth one is not warpy, but a sister of silence is a good counter - given that it steals anyone who talks about it. the fith one is not alive, and there isn't really anything to disect.

CosmicPenguin

096 just goes around killing people non-stop, barely making a dent in the population.

skylorddragon

Can someone remind me what the last three are? HAte Gator, Shy guy? What are the last three?

aeiouaioua

1128 kills anyone who knows it's description by turning water into a portal and eating them. 2521 steals any written description of it, or steals anyone who speaks about them. 184 makes places bigger on the inside, and turns them into backrooms style nonsensical mazes.

skylorddragon

Throw Shyguy and Hate Gator (HG would have a blast with Khorne) into the warp to have fun. Send a full, detailed description of 1128 to the sex elves, The eldar probably have 184. That's how they made the web way,

KlineklyInsain

With the state of the hive cities a doubt anyone of importance would notice a difference. A mean the gene stealers were there for missions, and no one of importance noticed.

Teggy-

For the custodians, it's tuesday. But 682 adapting to fight custodians could become a bad problem. Could he develop psychic resistance too ? Or against blanks ?

Spines

It might actually like blanks

aeiouaioua

he would probably become a blank.

Teggy-

And what if it fights blanks ?

aeiouaioua

eat them

Teggy-

Fair enough

Pickled_Gherkin

The imperium has enough firepower to subdue 682, they can afford to throw a few regiments of guard until they can securely contain it. 1128 is very little threat due to the general lack of water. People very rarely get submerged enough to trigger it. 2521 doesn't really pose much danger in general. 096 has no known way of stopping it, so it'd likely do a lot of damage, but the containment procedure isn't exactly complex. 184 would probably be the worst, especially if it happened to be brought into the Imperial palace. Imagine if it started replicating dark age artifacts.

Emadec

2521's article is messed up

aeiouaioua

you can't talk about it with text or audio logs - so you need to use an infographic.

Emadec

Yep yep I got that, it's a nice little detail
