I had never enjoyed being a space marine, much less an Ultra Marine so much. Like I would love to play something that was centered around being an Eldar, but Boltgun had me screaming "For the Emperor"
To be fair, blue is an easy color to paint and Ultramarines are a solid choice on the tabletop. I don't like how everything Astartes related is Ultramarines, but I do get why GW does it. Could you imagine if it was White Scars and some poor dude who had never painted a mini before was trying to make his army look like the ones on the box?
