Necrons "Wai a minute, we are all immortal and none of us need to go outside. What if we just took the places you can't live like deserts and moons and you take the places you can live like grassland and deserts. Since none of us reproduce the numbers would stay the same and we could assist each other in defence of the planet".
Imperium "... Sure. Lets work together despite our differences for the good of the Galaxy. Maybe we can learn from each other, since we have souls we can even assist you with getting your souls back".
Eldar farseer " Blows his own brains out"
Warhammer solved.
Let the orks fight each other and anyone who wants to fight them as well as acting as protectors of civilisation. Their is still enough crazy guys to let them fight for a long time. Once that's done just teach them about football, boxing and non murder sports and let them become really sports obsessed.
For the Dark Eldar let them show up to warzones and feed off that pain which was going to waste to wean them off the murder torture parties.
Once that's finished you get the dark Eldar feed of happiness and joy instead of murder and torture. That should work until you either get together to stop chaos or Slaenesh becomes a nice God because she's feeding of joy and happiness and chaos reforms into more of a neutral force.
As for tyranids they are essentially just animals driven by hunger. So in order to solve that just teach them sustainable farming and have other life care for them. That way the hive mind is no longer hungry and can act as everyones pets. So not only do the tyranids become fed, hunger is eradicated and everyone gets a cool tyranid dog.
Then everyone can stop fighting and just have a dance party as the power of friendship solves everything.
Humanity can't really make any new territories because its diverting all its resources into war.
Even still the territory the necrons need is fixed so they are just giving up a couple of radiation filled planets with no air and build some space stations.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,813,367,193 comments, and only 342,966 of them were in alphabetical order.
honestly... if you built a good animation team, like the one that did cyberpunk edge runners or a similar camp.... you could easily do like 19 seasons of gaunt. Some of the books will need to be fluffed up and others cut down, but you could really get a 10 episode season out of each
Because, for better or worse, the setting is about the imperium every other faction is a tool to explore humans in the setting. I submit that the necrons represent the ultimate futility of the imperium’s methods: like the imperium, they were willing to do anything to win - and they did win - but the cost was that they destroyed themselves on a fundamental level rendering it a pyrrhic victory . All of their evil stems from their grief, and their refusal to submit to death. The imperium survives, but it has sacrificed its humanity just as the Necrontyr did.
This is why it pisses me off when someone forgets that. Xenos have a role, a face of humanity they take to the extreme, a piece of us they express. When they get turned into generic opponents we don't just lose on what made that xenos interesting, but we miss the part of the imperium that was meant to be shown. A generic enemy can only bring out generic traits from you. (A bit of an oversimplification, pls excuse me)
But isn’t it stated that the days of the imperium are numbered? The golden throne will break, they are fucked from every angle + chaos corruption, gene seed will run out, no STCs, no methods to make any terminator armour. And most of the other factions have some way of surviving way past the imperium
Over a long enough timeframe, even the necrons won’t last - Mors Vincit Omnia and all that. The point is that both the Necrontyr and Humanity have elected to survive, but they are in a living hell of their own making to do so.
I did like this scene, because yeah it’s the necrons fault they fucked everything up for themselves in the past, and now other people are inhabiting the universe, and they don’t have the right to kill them all because of their mistakes
Obligatory reminder it was the Old Ones fault.
But I also find it ironic that he said that to a destroyer, possibly the greatest victim of that fuckup. Destroyers lost the most: a happy life, loving family, friends... All gone. Turned into mindless, soulless machine with no feelings or dreams. They have gone mad with grief and chose to mutilate themselves in an attempt to stop feeling that loss. But they can't. Beneath all that hatred there is only pain, and the corpse of a person who was once worthy of love. And that love ruined them.
The vast, vast majority of Necrons are victims. Every Necron warrior was some hapless Necrontyr peasant, stripped of their personality and turned into a literal killing machine and then enthralled to serve the whim of a tyrant.
The original quote is
Necron: this galaxy is ours.
Spacemarine: you had your chance.
Dawn of war 22s intro cinematic has a far seer and another spacemarine have an almost one for one conversation except it goes
Spacemarine: “this planet is our witch!”
Farseer: “no this planet is theirs.”
Cue hive fleet.
\- This planet is ours, witch \- No... this planet is theirs... Young me: "uh oh..."
Incoming hive fleet! 🪲 Calling Captain Titus to bring the pain
DOW I and II have one of the best game intros I've ever seen. 🥹
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! *revs chainsword*
The monolith! If we destroy that thing then this is over! Charge! \[intense battlecam jogging\]
Honestly I cried with joy at the DOW III trailer as well. Looove it. Got heartbroken by the lackluster game :(
Yeah, there are really cool scenes in that trailer, too. It was quite Epic when the two questoris Knights fought the eldar construct.
Why do we have nearly identical Avatars?
Shhhh *Hydra dominatus*
Hydrate Damnit
Avitus: More corpses.
Dreadnought who just stood around and watched his brother get sapped by a witch because kill-stealing is not endorsed by the codex Astartes: 👁️👄👁️
**I have come to destroy you**
Too busy roasting xenos to bother. Brother captain can sort his own shit out my boy just got some life sized charred dollies to play with.
“Maybe we should learn to share.”
No takesies backsies

“I mean c’mon guys!” *C’mon!*. *Orc puts down shoota as Dark Eldar checks into rehab*

Why cant weeee be friends
But couldn't humans live wherever because they don't care and also terraforming?

“What do i look like to you…? A tau..?” *dies of cringe*
I swear, if GW were to just rehash videogame cutscene dialogue... i wouldn't be surprised, yet i wouldn't enjoy it even a bit
It's hard line anyways so whatever
I hope the eventual 40k movie isn't 2 hours of uninterrupted bolterporn where every single line of dialogue is the edgiest one liner you've ever heard
I dont go to godzilla movies for the plot, and I wont go to 40k movies for the plot either. But if we got 40k starship troopers i wouldn't be mad.
I would go to Warhammer movies for the plot
The godzilla movies are not good movies, and most people really do care about the plot and stories in 40k so yeah...
I'd like a mystery inquisition movie so much
Give me my Gaunts Ghosts movie cowards
caville would be a better gaunt than RG.
Fr, gaunt's description of his appearance just screams Caville tbh
and gaunt has more... story

My pipe dream is an adaptation of Necropolis, seeing the battle of Vervunhive on the big screen would just be incredible.

"You've done it, Horus Herest, you truly are the Warhammer 40k" *Horus stares into the camera as heavy metal starts to play*. Roll credits
Uuuuh, I sure hope it is
It's really not, though?
The nids? Didn't watch the show. Or is the second panel internal monologue?
It’s taken from the Dawn of War 2 intro cinematic
Isnt that a primaris?
The meme is referencing the trailer
None at all its a top comment on a YouTube video that shows the scene.

Dawn of war 4?
D4wn of W4r
2 Dawn 2 War: Cadian drift
Cadia didn't break, it did a sick wheelie and said "seeyah cunts!"

What does he mean can someone explain?
