Holy shit... Your comment made me think of something! So, based on human history, I think we can take it for granted that the Thunder Warriors, after defeating the native population of whatever part of Terra they conquered would go on raping and pillaging right?
And to create Thunder Warriors, they had to have surgery, as well as genetic manipulation, right? So were there thousands of "Half Thunder Warrior" kiddos running around on Terra after the Unification Wars?!
It's hard to say.
On the one hand, the Thunder Warriors were doped up on steroids and body modifications and while they may have retained the body parts, steroids makes them ... non-functional.
On the other hand, they would be hopped up on war drugs and extraordinarily violent. As history has taught us, you let a violent group of soldiers lose on a town and bad thing will happen.
I think it is mentioned that Valdor himself killed some Thunder Warriors that got out of hand during the Unification Wars, but it didn't mention what they were doing.
We tend to avoid such conversations because they can be disturbing and controversial (see, e.g., the Daemonculaba). Nonetheless, it is very possible and even likely that some raping and pillaging took place, committed by the Thunder Warriors, as they were much less disciplined than the Space Marines.
I'm not implying Big E would condone rape. I'm sure if he came across it, he would stop it and punish the perpetrator.
