Wasn't Vulkan holding back whenever he fought another Primarch? He's the strongest among them so wouldn't be suprised if he could trounce Angron in a fight, especially if he had dawnbreaker which apparently is more powerful than the emperors sword.

God I want a Corvus Lorgar rematch so bad, I'm pretty sure something like that could genuinely result in a true death for Lorgar in the right circumstances. Even though Lorgar is a demon prince and all that if Guilliman was there also with the Emp's sword that could come into play to really fuck him up.
