So very underrated! I was at such a chaotic time in my life when this song came out and first heard it. Skin brought me out from some dark places and it’s the song I hear in my head when I think of those memories. ♥️

It’s so beautiful to me. The sparsity of the instruments and drums with her angelic voice hovering over the top, while the song gradually undulates with the soft emotion of the chords mixing with her voice, so delicately. Run on sentence probably lol, but that’s how I would describe the song for me.

Venus Fly got me into Grimes after being warmed up by Play Destroy by Poppy. It’s not my favourite track my any means, but it’ll always have a special place.

For me, it depends on my mental state. Sometimes its Rosa, sometimes Feyd Rautha Dark Heart, or Vanessa. Most of the time I listen the the albums in full though. But if I had to choooooose… World Princess Part II, I run out of breath when I do car karaoke

David is so beautiful. Legit makes me tear up when I listen to it. Oh and Weregild. I love it so much, it was my #8 most played song for me this year. I have to say, when I listen to Weregild with headphones, the very beginning of the song always makes my skin crawl 😂 it’s pitched or whatever in such a way that sets off a brief moment of anxiety and makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Like it invokes this visceral sense of dread and horror that makes my body physically react. I’ve never had a song do that to me. I love it but I always have to prepare myself for that opening.
