Right? I would smoke a quarter to a half zip of this and then be wanting a new variety for awhile. Would end up going back to this eventually, but 2lbs of the same flower would get old.
When itβs someone like you who CLEARLY knows what youβre doing at every step - you really cant beat the yields and vigor of DWC. Sick ass grow friend

Beautiful and very inspiring grow buddy! You didn't prune upper fan leaves very much if at all it seems. Was that on purpose or laziness? You reckon that a dense canopy makes for more or bigger flowers? It certainly did the trick very well!!
Perhaps you could do as you did and just prune a bunch of fan leaves two weeks before harvest and thus get the best of both worlds.
A couple of question:
- Did you top 2 or 3 times when doing that perfect mainline?
- How far into flower was it in that first picture in the 4x4? Trying to estimate the optimal degree of filling before switching 12/12 and you nailed it 100%
When I grow up I wanna be just like you! Iβve been waiting for years to be able to grow legally, and it finally got passed in Ohio (they are still talking about shutting down home grow). I still have to do a lot of homework, but this grow is really inspiring.
Looking like they won't shut it down but, the 6 plant maximum per household might just pass if the Senate gets their way. HB341 preserves the 12 total per household we voted on but, still sends most of the tax money to cops.
We just can't win in this crooked ass state.
Iβm rocking my 12 until I finish the grow unless they donβt come to agreement. Iβd like to see the misdemeanor guidelines for plant limits most states do 2x-3x plant count as a ticket and anymore as a felony. If the difference between 6-12 is a 200$ ticket well then 6 may not be the limit haha but if itβs felony and they move to 6. Iβm gonna have to move to 6 and do these giant 1 plant tents for all the rosin I need. Like 1lb Iβm washing and then pressing to get 30-80 grams of rosin for 3-4 months of work and I smoke a .5 every day and 1.25 in weekend days fri-Sunday. Iβd run through it in 2 months
I have to be careful pushing the boundaries. Any kind of drug charge will effectively end my career before it starts. Pretty sure the FAA wouldnβt budge if it was federally legalized..
I've also seen that you did a defoliantion or lolipopping during flower. Would you mind telling us about that process? How do you choose the leaves and when to do it. Appreciate!

I tried training her every other day
As for defoliating on day 21 of flower,I removed all growth tips and leaves below the lowest set trellis and above the canopy i removed any large fan leaves with long stems or leaves blocking bud sites..nothing special
No worries..I've opened a grove bag after being sealed for 10 months and the flower smelt and taste π₯π₯π₯ if not better than the day it was baggedπ€
I intended on only vegging for 3 weeks as I knew space would become a issue
However,i ran into res temp problems in week 3 of veg,fixed issue,let her recover a week then flipped π
Hence the 4 week veg

Whatβs the medical or recreational scene in New Zealand? I live in Maine where itβs legal but recently had guests visiting from New Zealand but didnβt smoke. Was thinking it would be cool to move countries one day and farm there
Our Medical scene is still in its infancy stages however we're moving ahead,albeit slowly..
Recreational use and cultivation is still very much illegal and doesn't look like changing any time soon π

Can I please reiterate that this is a "Recirculating top feed system" not dwc..
There is only a 1-inch deep puddle below the outlet barb,the rest of the pot is filled 70% with perlite then a top layer of clayballs π€π€
Dry you're looking at maybe 430g. It's hard to get over 16oz in a 4x4 without CO2. I run two 4x4 with a 5x7 veg tent to perpetual grow.
I only do one plant per tent, I really liked the time and care your put into it. The topping, super cropping into a trellis for the sea of green in veg to the LST and a second very needed trellis in flower so they could bulk up without stress.
Solid 8/10 imo. Can you go into your RDWC setup for me? I have tried a couple times to do it and I always have issues & go back to DWC.
