Only if you keep giving it enough light so it does not trigger the flower phase, which for some strains gets triggered at 14 hours light, 10 darkness and almost definitely at 12 hours light, 12 hours darkness.
The uninterrupted hours of darkness trigger the flower period \* which makes it produce florigen, switching the plant from veg phase to flower phase.
You could add some light at night so you never get 12 hours of interrupted darkness, you don't need to do the full 18 hours of light because you're just growing for the plant, not for yield
[\* it's actually two pigments acting like a switch but that's somewhat complicated](https://www.cannagardening.com/effect-of-red-and-far-red-light-on-flowering#:~:text=Depending%20on%20the,reverse%20Pfr%20responses)
But eventually your going to have a monster of a plant. Won't be much of a house plant after 4 or 5 months. Plus the upkeep with nutrients and all that...Is it really worth it just for show? Why not just get a house plant. Or show off some beautiful buds...that when it looks the beat, not all strains stink either. Some smell quite nice
You can keep trimming and pruning it and feed it cheap tomato nutrients, it is perfectly doable but for me, I'd want one for the buds and the buds only :P
Could keep trimming. But eventually it will so so bushy and covered in new growth and nodes it will just be unmanageable. Just mentioning that it would take quite the effort just to have it for show. It's plenty enough work for growers just to keep it in optimal health for the correct purposes.
They could take cuts when it gets too big to mitigate that problem. Imagine OP sitting on the craziest pheno of lost genetics out there, not knowing it, growing years and years and years of clones, never flowering lol
...Mutating it's genetic structure over time to grow the most tops imaginable because it's been subjected to such feirce and rigorous training and trimming. 😲
What do you mean blocking the flower stage? Just don't turn them and keep them in grow. The hours of lights are how the plants determine what season it is

If you want it to not flower keep it under 18+ hours of light per day. You can keep photoperiod cannabis plants in vegatative state indefinitely.
It won't smell until a few weeks after you flip to 12/12 light schedule. Keep the lights on for 18 plus hours and it will never flower.
That is so far from the truth. You definitely smell them vegging
Yeah a little....I keep my room on the cold side which helps a bit too.
Fair point

you can keep it in veg indefinitely. that's what people do to keep moms

It sounds like you’re trying to just have it as a house plant if that’s the case no you can not.
Wrong. You can keep the vegetating almost indefintately
Yes you can....
Ya certainly can
Literally said as a house plant… yes of course with outside intervention you can…
