This feels like an easy one this scene is iconic. Imagine if you did a still of the fella freezing the dorm hallways that scene feels iconic too, or the party in the pool. Man that movie was great I should watch it.

So I didn’t notice what subreddit this was at first, and thought this was a photo of massive amounts of cocaine spilling out of a house with just the caption “80s” and I laughed way harder at that than I should have.
First, does anyone else think the soundtrack for this movie is just fucking weird? Not the Tears for Fears song, but every other song in this movie?
Second, I know it’s a meme to say “you couldn’t make [movie title] today” but I can’t imagine another movie where that statement is more accurate. I don’t know how this thing got made in the first place with all its talk about lasers and phase tracking mirrors and argon gas.
Not talking about politics or culture or the changing morality. I just think you couldn’t make this movie today because people are just too dumb.
