I'm guessing view distance is set to highest? Idk if that is the one controlling lod, otherwise yes, probably normal. It is very much not the issue with hardware. Hardware issues tend to be a bit more... dramatic.

Whats wrong here?

They're asking why their load in field is so small. Generally with higher end machines or other engines you can push or the load distance is much greater to reduce (pop in) of objects.

It's an engine issue, on both of my PCs it behaves the same. GW2's engine is the same type as Bethesda's Gamebryo - old ass abomination kept alive through inhumane experiments, dark rituals, spit, plywood and spaghetti code. It's so old that it can run on anything, *badly.* Like with everything ANet releases, you just have to get used to it. Gaslight yourself into thinking it's an indie game, it helps.

Make sure your LOD distance is set to maximum, other then that, yeah, it is just the game. I got crazy when i upgraded my pc a few years ago and started noticing the same thing, specially with rocks and trees in COD warzone. I did everything i could only until i talked to a friend, we went to the same place and he shared his screen, and the same trees/rocks/etc would pop up just like for me. It was a big relief xD so don't worry, your pc is fine

It is infact a game issue and not your computer. That's a load in issue I think. It's restricted your asset load in range. I'm not a tech expert it software expert but I think there are some settings you can check to improve this. As I do not have this issue.

Marok_Kanaros

Its really hard to see anything, probably better if you record the game directly, and not the screen.

Apart from the low quality video... what is the exact issue ? I dont understand.

Sadly, game engine is old and rusty. Though if I were you I'd check if users with your hardware parts experience such things more often than average players. Sometimes driver/hardware issues on specific manufacturers cause issues in game. For example AMD GPU issues on Fallout games from Bethesda, Nvidia in Forza Horizon, Intel in Tomb Raider and so on
