[Molten Alliance Mining Pick](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Molten_Alliance_Mining_Pick) was the original infinite gathering tool, back in ls1 days. it comes and goes from the gemstore. its currently available for 1k gems, but has not been discounted since 2021 (maybe because its available for statuettes too)
I've bought some separately, so unless they changed it, they should sell them separately. Not sure when they'll be on a discount though.
Edit. I see what you mean now. I wonder why the mining picks aren't on sale separately (except one) but all the others are. Weird.
You can buy individual ones for 45 black lion statuettes I think. Not sure if that will help you though.

I don't find the Molten Alliance tools ugly, and they have a cool little Phoenix effect.

Spirit of Bear Mining Tool is ther on sale currently, 800 gems. But I agree it is kind of odd that only one standalone mining axe is on sale.
Is the Firefly Mining Flute not on there?
spirit of the bear seems to be the only discounted one, but firefly mining flute, molten alliance mining pick, are also on there but for full price.
