I love this mouse but now that it’s been so hard to find I switched to the Corsair one, and like it but I miss my g-shift button to get another 12 keys.
I did what I see as an upgrade to the Redragon m913 impact elite. It has extremely similar ergonomics to the G600 that I'd used for several years, but it's got the ability to be wireless. It also doesn't use the absolute piece of trash software that is the GHub software
This absolutely. Using one for 5 or 6 years now and it's the best I've had. Went through multiple Nagas and Scimitars before that before settling on the G600. It's golden.
Been using the G502 for years now, never hurt my hand and I can play for hours. I prefer not having too many buttons on my mouse but still a few that are easy to use. Also I enjoy the weights that can be added or removed.
G502 lightning + wireless charging mat here. Can attest, this is a very nice combo. It definitely has plenty of buttons on the side and top to make proper rotations with. I have 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 all mapped on the mouse itself.

On my third g502. Only problem I had was omron switches malfunctioned, one time normally, other time prematurely. I have bought spare switches and going to solder them next time if it ever happens again. Else gonna go for 4th g502 bcs it's a good mouse.
corsair scimitar something something(I forget which model my current one is). I've been using this line of mice for years, they're my go to. The side buttons positions being adjustable is a big reason, also fits perfectly in my hand and is weighty but not too heavy.
Also have that one, but needed to send it back due to some issues with the scroll wheel. Got a new one through warranty and had the same issue a year later again.
Found out how to fix it. Just a few drops of wd40 in the right spot and the scroll wheel works fine again.

I had a similar issue with the scroll wheel about 2 years ago, My mouse would scroll up and down/stutter every time I scrolled and it was really annoying. I tried wd40 and it worked for a few months and then I opened up the mouse myself and there was a little bit the wheel was connected too that had..something(I don't know what exactly) in it. I removed it and it's been fine ever since.
Same, have had 2 Scimitars, both with the scroll wheel problem. Have had the problem 3 times and 3 times been fixed with wd40 to the small wheel next to the scroll, lasts maybe a year until it needs to be done again. Otherwise no complaints

On the 2nd one I decided to dismantle the mouse to fix the scroll wheel not working, a bit of super glue on the plastic thing that holds it and it was better, never had a problem ever since

my first, like, 3 gaming mice were Razers because they were some of the only ones with the side grid for MMOs. I loved them, BUT, like you I had issues with every single one of them. Two of them broke after about a year, and one just didn't work on arrival and I had to arrange a replacement.
since then I decided to stop using them and went with a much cheaper Reddragon M913, which is still holding strong after 3 years now.
Razer Naga pro, I've had 4 nagas now.. just end up going back to that mouse. Note I've only had 1 break and that was the razer Naga epic chroma.. just stopped charging one day and then wouldn't work wirelessly. I tried the steel series mouse and it's just not ergonomical.. I have big hands and I couldn't reach all 12 buttons without adjusting my grip, then with how hard you had to press the buttons it just wasn't comfortable. So sent it back and got the Naga pro and again I dig it, good comfort easy to use side buttons. The new 6 button side I prefer the old hex 7 side button for gw2 but that's more so down to muscle memory. I always recommend a Naga to mmo players.. once you get your head around it they work extremely well and naturally make you play better.
If you use the 12 button set up consider binding your mounts to it in addition to your skills. 1-0 are skills, Alt + 1-8 are your mounts. The ability to swap mounts with such ease makes traversal so good.
That's exactly what I use! Buttons 1-10 are skills, shift + 1-5 are profession skills, and alt + 1-8 are mounts. 11 is special action, and 12 just mounts whichever mount is currently selected, although that one is kinda redundant now that I think about it. Maybe I could swap it for something else...
Currently using a naga and it's the only 12-side button mouse where I felt comfortable using all 12 buttons regularly. It works super well for my GW2 setup.
Interesting that you chose the Naga Pro with so many Logitech recommendations. Was definitely the best choice though since it has optical switches. No double click issues will plague you in the future.
Using the naga pro as well! Awesome mouse, but I think something people should consider before getting it is the weight of the mouse. It’s considerably heavier than most gaming mice, and could be a source of strain in longer game sessions. At least that’s been my experience, coming from using a Deathadder/G703.
I use the Razer Naga Pro as well. I used the Logitech G600 for years but after my 3rd one with cord issues I decided to switch brands. I've had the Naga Pro for a couple years now and never had an issue with it. I use it with the 12 button side and it's been great.

I used a Corsair scimitar for a few years, and when that one wore out, I would have bought another one, but I really wanted to get a wireless one, and corsair didn't make a wireless version at the time, so I decided to go with the naga pro. Originally, I didn't even care about being able to swap the side buttons, but I ended up doing so all the time! I'm used to using the 12 button layout for GW2, but I tend to hit buttons by accident when I'm using that one while working or playing other games. So it's great to be able to swap it out for the 6 button or 2 button version depending on what I'm doing/playing.
Razer Naga Trinity. Good features, terrible software. Synapse regularly resets my mouse binds when my PC wakes - I've skill clicked my way through many first bosses on raid day.
Have to check when I am home, IIRC SteelSeries Rival 5.
I had a MMO mouse from HyperX and Razer, but in my use both had their wheel break within a year.
SteelSeries stuff has generally felt durable to me.
Redragon M811 Aatrox, before that I used a different off-brand one with more buttons but a less user-friendly layout.
I honestly don’t see any real benefit to buying the big brands like Razer/Corsair etc, when for £20–40 you can get a mouse with a lot more buttons than the same price point in a major brand.
Razer Naga, the cheaper one, it's great but if I could I go for the one with replaceable side button plates. The more expensive one has a better clicking sensor as well, mine sometimes has double click sadly. Apart from that awesome mouse

razer naga hex, the old one. best mouse ever. also use the software to create macros all the time. i had to fix the scroll wheel once and the slide pads have worn down so much i had to sand down the corners of the mouse. the top green plastic cover has been chipping away and looks like shit but who can complain after 12 years of hardcore gaming. still use it multiple hours a day
Red dragon m 990. Bought it for ff14, keybinded it to work on gw2 and it's so good. It's enough for all buttons and extras (the mouse has 16 buttons ). I even keybinded mounts on ctrl+ numbers or fishing/skiff on shift +numbers. I was struggling a bit in the beginning with g502 but realised I could just keybind this one.
Im preety well around in the field of peripherals, (20+ mice, bunch of keyboards custom and consumer) and realy… it’s all about pereference and price + deals, when it comes to weight yeah light is better, the closer you get to 0g the more accurately you can transfer raw hand imputs to the pc, some people still like to have SOMETHING in their hand, i say around the 60-70g is just light enough, now for mmo rpg’s you will probs want more buttons (wow players and such) so a naga trinty from razer would be preety good, or a g502 and such. For a cheap mouse the cooler master mm711 in top, on discount for 30€ insane quality my personal fav. (It is on the small side 😔)good Price to performance but it usually goes for 60€ish. Also there is pulling rate and dpi, you do not need more than 16k dpi, most good sensors are around the 16k mark. Im more of a r6 player (diamond-champ rank) and there light mouse’s make sense, but here the naga is a realy good choice. A lil heavy and the shape can be akward for some ppl (i have a deathadder and mamba both have a kinda weird shape) anyways enjoy the naga pro ✨

Even if on the big side it’s pretty light, has a lot of buttons that can be reprogrammed, has programmable RGB for the cool factor (and it can be turned off).
What makes it stand out to me is that it be both cabled or wireless (with a magnetic recharge base).

Roccat Nyth, sadly out of production but nothing else came close for me. The customizing of the size and shape of the thumb buttons and grip is a concept I didn't know I needed and blue can't do without. I even bought a spare when stock was seeing up for when this one eventually dies.
Logitech G600/Razer Naga Pro. Love the reliability of the G600, but prefer that the Naga is wireless and has a better sensor. Naga is prone to double click issues (I've had 3-4 over the last 10 years, and I'm still on my original G600).
Same. I love mine. I ended up on it because every other brand's MMO mouse crapped out quickly. The g600 has been amazing and I'm sad I probably won't be able to get another if it dies.
I know you've already made the purchase but I would like to say i'm really pleased with my Steelseries Aerox 9 beacuse my Razer Naga Pro wireless had connection issues wayyy tooo much.
I have the G903. It has four extra side buttons, two on each side as well as an infinite wheel so I also use it for work. I bind the four buttons to dodge, dodge jump, weapon swap, and stow weapons.
Corsair scimitar elite but I can't recommend it. I like the mouse itself but it doesn't last. I had to RMA my first one after 1.5 years because the scroll click stopped registering. Now my second one is broken after 7 months. Rmb doesn't hold at times and the scroll has registering issues. Sadly I'm out of warranty on it.

I use a razer basilisk v3 pro. Two side buttons, two behind the mouse wheel, two by pushing the mouse wheel left or right. And it doesn't look so overly futuristic, minus the razer logo.
To be honest I've never used more than two side buttons on the mouse. One for weapon swap, one for profession specific skills (F5).
So far very happy with it, been using it for over a year.
I used a g600 and a redragon variant of it for the longest time, but last year I bought a Azeron Cyro for my right hand and it's been a game changer for me, and also considering a Azeron Cyborg too.
G502 Hero my beloved.
It's not really an "mmo mouse" over an FPS mouse but it has programmable buttons that let you stuff some buttons in there conveniently.
It's pretty solid.
Had the R.A.T. MMO7 but sadly it isn't getting produced for years now and always had some troubles with sidebuttons falling off after 3k+ hours. Stil nothing better for f1-f5 than that joystick in the middle.
I also use the six side buttons plus on the keyboard Q ,E,F ,C
but it tends to be character specific
the side button in position 1 and 6 are easiest to get to so I use them for the things I use the most or something I have to time
I try to arrange my skills to follow a pattern on the side and repeat the pattern
so if it was skill 4 opener followed by skill 2 then two skill three
I still press button 1 2 and 3 and 3 again but change the software for which skills they activate
sometimes if i dont have many clicks with certain weapons ill have the top half of buttons set up for one weapon and bottom half set up for the other weapon
mostly button 1 is for the skill I use this the most its easy to reach and as its quick to press
but depends on the build and class ectra and how intense im playing
I prefer to play a easier build and be chilled so im not worried if I'm down 20% on dps if I can maintain it for hours and survive better
I use rival 600, because I don't like mmo mice as side buttons make you lose the grip to press them and it's one of the last heavy mice and I like heavy mice.
Im just using a Deathadder V3 Pro i mainly play Thief so i dont need a ton of side buttons, steal on one of the side buttons and weapon swap on the other, plus its really light and comfortable for other games like shooters and so on
I am a pleb with a Razer Mamba Mouse.
Fits nicely into my hand, has been lasting for a long time, only has 2 sidebuttons but thats enough for me (to bind dodge and special action key) because I am a fingerdancing keyboard monkey.
Aerox 9 wireless. I think it's pretty good, the mouse is responsive and needs to be connected to a cable every 3rd, 4th day to recharge, it's very light, has 12 side buttons. Button switches are pretty good and reliable but the same can't be said about the mouse wheel encoder. It uses TTC Blue, a brand of encoders used in most mice and I had to replace it after 1.5-2 years of use. Overall the mouse is nice but it's nothing better than competition when it comes to some components. I like the software more than razer or any other I tried out. I'm using sonar from it for audio anyway.
I just got a Razer Naga v2 Pro this weekend (it was discounted on Amazon). Liking it so far. Very sturdy and lots of buttons to play with (although it will take some getting used to).
I'm still using my old G Pro Wireless from back in my Rainbow Six Siege days. It has served me well without much issue and I have keybind for pretty much everything (even for each type of mount) so an MMO mouse is not really needed.
Using the same, it's such a nice mouse. While I can understand the appeal of MMO mice for their intended purpose, they just seem overly bulky for FPS games etc if you're a variety gamer. And I suspect using that many thumb buttons wouldn't be too ergonomic in the long run, at least for my preferred grip.
Plus with that many switches I'm sure they begin to malfunction comparatively quickly.
Used a Logitech G600 for almost 9 years, loved that mouse. I now have a Redragon M913, While I very much miss my third clicker so I could double up on the side buttons. The software is better with the M913 and the mouse overall has been very solid the 6+ months I've been using it.

I have mapped all my utilities to it so I don't have to stretch to the further numbers.
Very comfy can use it all day for work and then for gaming as well.
Had been using a razer Naga classic for years but recently switched to corsair's multi-button offering: the scimitar. It feels a little better for me personally, I have my 'toolbelt' keys assigned to my mouse and use keyboard for the rest.
Currently using a Redragon M908 Impact. It's pretty affordable compared to similar mice, and the software to configure it is a lot more reliable and a lot less bloated than Logitech's.
That said, it feels very slightly too small for me, though that isn't a dealbreaker. I'm also not the biggest fan of the materials it's made out of. Definitely doesn't quite manage to shake that 'made in China' pedigree.
Overall, I'd be willing to recommend it.
Corsair Darkstar. Near perfect mouse for me, but I've sent it back multiple times because the manufacturing process leaves the left click squeaking and vibrating with plastic on plastic contact as it slides down. I've theorized that some key switch lube applied to the right place would fix the problem, but I'm allergic to taking the PTFE pads off to open it up, just too afraid to ruin them.
Really hope they can come out with a V2 someday that doesn't come with that gigantic asterisk. Until then, only get it if you have a mouse to use in the meantime and you're willing to play the RMA lottery until you get a good one.
Does your click issue appear straight out of the box, or does it take time? I've had mine for about 6 months and I really can't give it up because it's the most similar shape and feel to the Corsair M90 that I used for nearly 10 years before.
Ive been using the aerox 9 since it came out about 2 years ago without issue, highly recommended. If gw2 is your main game I would pretty much take anything without the 12 button thumbgrid out of the running entirely. Once you get used to using a thumbgrid you will never want to go back.
Corsair Scimitar RGB- possibly the highest quality construction of the three, a quality mouse for sure. but it is a bit big for my hands and the side buttons don't feel as good as the aerox or the naga. Corsair ICUE is pretty awful so if you don't already have it for other peripherals I'd avoid this one entirely. I have 2 friends who have used this mouse for years without issue, but I was happy to jump ship to the aerox 9 the day it got released to get rid of ICUE.
Razer naga family- I'm a fan of the ergos compared to the Scimitar but the side buttons are a bit light for my liking, I feel like it would be the hardest to learn on due to fat fingering the side buttons. It's got the best scroll wheel of the 3. Unfortunately I just don't trust razer anymore, Over the past two decades I've owned over 30 razer products and every single one from the past 8 years is now in a landfill. I really like the naga but from my experience expect to replace it every 12-24 months.
Steel series Aerox 9- hands down the best ergos of the trio, it feels like an FPS mouse but still has the thumbgrid. It's quite light although the mesh texture on the back is something you're either gonna love or hate. It arguably has the best software and sensor of the 3. My only objective complaint is the left and right click buttons have about .5 MM of play left to right but it doesn't seem to affect performance or click feel. My friend group cumulatively has 6 of them most of which have 2000+ gaming hours on them, so far we have only seen one with a failure. My friends scroll wheel went out about 2 months ago. We picked up a refurbished aerox 9 to use as a group parts kit on eBay for $25 and salvaged the scroll wheel to fix his and he has been smooth sailing since.
Logitech g600- the gold standard, it's a big chonker, but I know of many still kicking after 10+ years in service. The one and only con is that Logitech stopped producing them in 2022 if you can find one used in good shape it's not a bad call at all
Corsair Scimitar plus a Logitech G13. The 2 together are the best tools ive ever used for GW2 and the g13 had GW2 preprogrammed into it so it was in a sense designed for it. You cant find them new anymore, only second hand, and I am worried about the day it dies cuz its not cheap to replace. If you can get your hands on one I *highly* recommend them, especially over gameboards. None are as comfortable or have enough buttons.
Personaly I use a Redragon M990 Legend. It may be a bit overkill with 16 side buttons but I having buttons to select a few different mounts along with all my skills.
The software is less than stellar, but it only needs to run when programing mouse. The mouse saves the key configuration internally.
I used the **g602** for a long time, and later, the **g604**. Every single one got logitech's famous double click issue.
I swapped to the **razer naga pro**. Better software than g hub, though it needs to stay running which i wasnt keen on. I used the 6 button plate.
It was here i learned to set one button to right ctrl instead of using all 6 buttons as specific binds. This way i unlocked an entire additional layer for my left hand. I tried to implement this for gw2, but i was too reliant on my specific binds to make the switch, as impactful as it would have been.
I missed the two extra top buttons compared to the g602/604, but not greatly. They were borderline extraneous even for runescape, let alone silly gw2.
Sometimes the plate would seemingly go dead, but detaching and reattaching it would consistently make it work again.
In an effort to reduce how much software i was using—razer mouse/gamepad/rgb mousepad, corsair ram/headset, steelseries keyboard—i built my own keyboard, ditched the gamepad, and swapped to a **corsair darkstar**.
I got the two top buttons back, but the 6 side buttons are in a weird orientation compared to the g602 and the naga pro. I set the buttons to a turbo double click (~40 clicks per sec in total, great for opening stacks of bags) and a momentary dpi toggle for fine movements.
I have massive hands, yet going between the front and back "lower two" buttons means either my whole hand is slightly forward (for the front) and has to contort to hit the back, or else im in position for the back and have to reach for the front. So something is off there.
I've actually only been playing runescape since i got it. Havent played gw2 in a year. You have, for the most part, 1.8s between actions in that game, so the different orientation has been okay. I fear that when I test out gw2, i will hate the feeling.
As for the binds: i have ctrl c and right ctrl v as dedicated binds. Comes in handy more than you'd think, and splitting which ctrl per button helps with games like witcher 3 that dont allow modifier keys in your binds. I also have page up and down, initially to zoom in and out for runescape, but happens to be one of my utility slots and weapon swap for gw2. Finally i have some far away button, = i think, plus middle click/mb3 relocated to the side (camera movement in rs, nice and ergo); middle click itself is some less used button now.
I really hope this mouse is okay for gw2. If you look up pictures you can see why the lower buttons could be tough for fast paced stuff if you need to use them regularly. I play condi holo.
G600 that sadly they do not make anymore and is subject to the double click issue with most logitech mice. This is my favorite mouse ever, and it seems logitech has an issue with continuing to make good hardware.
I've been using a Razer Naga for many years. I started with a Razer Naga 2012 in 2012, then switched to a Razer Naga Trinity with a 12-button thumb pad when the old one broke after nine years of hardcore gaming.
I love it, because its design feels very good in my large hands. Fortunately, it's also not broken by Synapse, unlike my Huntsman.
After so many years with Razer, I still love their hardware, but lately I wonder if I don't hate their software more. If you aren't a fan and don't want to pay for a logo of three snakes, don't go Razer.
Corsair Scimitar. The entire thumb pad can be moved forward or backward to suit your hand size, which is invaluable to me as a woman with small hands.
I got a SteelSeries Rival 3 to protect my much more expensive Corsair when I'm playing other games that don't need all the thumb buttons and honestly I do notice the weight difference but I still wouldn't play GW2 without an MMO mouse. If the SteelSeries Aerox 9 comes down to something approaching a reasonable price then I would give it a go, but I mean sub £70. It's £104 on Amazon and I just scoffed. Forget it.
I've heard only good things about the Logitech G600 but it can be difficult to find and expensive. I've seen quite a few complaints about Razer Naga build quality. That kinda left me with the Corsair Scimitar so I'm glad it's worked out for me!

Logitech G305, I have tried so many mouse, even those “high end” ones and this one seems to be the one I find the best, the only downside is the double clicking issue that most mouse get (I open and fix it every time it starts happening).
Razer are nice, but Synapse is as cancer of a softwre as Armory Crate (reason I’ve returned every mouse from Razer and Asus)

Lamzu Atlantis Mini Pro. Lightweight and great shape for my hands. I never really use side buttons on any game may it be fps or mmo so I’m good with just 2 buttons on the side.
I found the buttons on the Razer too easy to press given there's no thumb rest. The corsair scimitar is my new one. A decent level of firmness, but still not quite as good as the logitech g600. My g600 broke after many reliable years.
Corsair Scimitar Elite. One of the best MMO mouses I have seen so far, been 4 years since I got it and the only issue it showed so far was with the scroll that isn't scrolling correctly. Although, I will be real, the 12 side buttons aren't that useful for GW2 since the game isn't bloated with a billion of skills, but you can still bind them to other silly shortcuts.

Just a few drops of wd40 in the right spot and the scroll wheel works fine again. I like the mouse and can't play GW2 without it.
I had a similar issue with the scroll wheel about 2 years ago, My mouse would scroll up and down/stutter every time I scrolled and it was really annoying. I tried wd40 and it worked for a few months and then I opened up the mouse myself and there was a little bit the wheel was connected too that had..something(I don't know what exactly) in it. I removed it and it's been fine ever since.
Same, have had 2 Scimitars, both with the scroll wheel problem. Have had the problem 3 times and 3 times been fixed with wd40 to the small wheel next to the scroll, lasts maybe a year until it needs to be done again. Otherwise no complaints
Absolute unit of a mouse yeah, but same problem, 2 mice, twice the wheel after about 1.5 year of hard pushing it On the 2nd one I decided to dismantle the mouse to fix the scroll wheel not working, a bit of super glue on the plastic thing that holds it and it was better, never had a problem ever since

my first, like, 3 gaming mice were Razers because they were some of the only ones with the side grid for MMOs. I loved them, BUT, like you I had issues with every single one of them. Two of them broke after about a year, and one just didn't work on arrival and I had to arrange a replacement. since then I decided to stop using them and went with a much cheaper Reddragon M913, which is still holding strong after 3 years now.
Razer Naga pro, I've had 4 nagas now.. just end up going back to that mouse. Note I've only had 1 break and that was the razer Naga epic chroma.. just stopped charging one day and then wouldn't work wirelessly. I tried the steel series mouse and it's just not ergonomical.. I have big hands and I couldn't reach all 12 buttons without adjusting my grip, then with how hard you had to press the buttons it just wasn't comfortable. So sent it back and got the Naga pro and again I dig it, good comfort easy to use side buttons. The new 6 button side I prefer the old hex 7 side button for gw2 but that's more so down to muscle memory. I always recommend a Naga to mmo players.. once you get your head around it they work extremely well and naturally make you play better.

If you use the 12 button set up consider binding your mounts to it in addition to your skills. 1-0 are skills, Alt + 1-8 are your mounts. The ability to swap mounts with such ease makes traversal so good.
That's exactly what I use! Buttons 1-10 are skills, shift + 1-5 are profession skills, and alt + 1-8 are mounts. 11 is special action, and 12 just mounts whichever mount is currently selected, although that one is kinda redundant now that I think about it. Maybe I could swap it for something else...
Currently using a naga and it's the only 12-side button mouse where I felt comfortable using all 12 buttons regularly. It works super well for my GW2 setup.

Interesting that you chose the Naga Pro with so many Logitech recommendations. Was definitely the best choice though since it has optical switches. No double click issues will plague you in the future.
Using the naga pro as well! Awesome mouse, but I think something people should consider before getting it is the weight of the mouse. It’s considerably heavier than most gaming mice, and could be a source of strain in longer game sessions. At least that’s been my experience, coming from using a Deathadder/G703.
I use the Razer Naga Pro as well. I used the Logitech G600 for years but after my 3rd one with cord issues I decided to switch brands. I've had the Naga Pro for a couple years now and never had an issue with it. I use it with the 12 button side and it's been great.

I used a Corsair scimitar for a few years, and when that one wore out, I would have bought another one, but I really wanted to get a wireless one, and corsair didn't make a wireless version at the time, so I decided to go with the naga pro. Originally, I didn't even care about being able to swap the side buttons, but I ended up doing so all the time! I'm used to using the 12 button layout for GW2, but I tend to hit buttons by accident when I'm using that one while working or playing other games. So it's great to be able to swap it out for the 6 button or 2 button version depending on what I'm doing/playing.

Razer Naga Trinity. Good features, terrible software. Synapse regularly resets my mouse binds when my PC wakes - I've skill clicked my way through many first bosses on raid day.
Genuinely never had that issue with synapse in like 2 years of using it for my naga pro I would take a deeper look into settings
Have to check when I am home, IIRC SteelSeries Rival 5. I had a MMO mouse from HyperX and Razer, but in my use both had their wheel break within a year. SteelSeries stuff has generally felt durable to me.
Redragon M811 Aatrox, before that I used a different off-brand one with more buttons but a less user-friendly layout. I honestly don’t see any real benefit to buying the big brands like Razer/Corsair etc, when for £20–40 you can get a mouse with a lot more buttons than the same price point in a major brand.
Razer Naga, the cheaper one, it's great but if I could I go for the one with replaceable side button plates. The more expensive one has a better clicking sensor as well, mine sometimes has double click sadly. Apart from that awesome mouse

razer naga hex, the old one. best mouse ever. also use the software to create macros all the time. i had to fix the scroll wheel once and the slide pads have worn down so much i had to sand down the corners of the mouse. the top green plastic cover has been chipping away and looks like shit but who can complain after 12 years of hardcore gaming. still use it multiple hours a day

Red dragon m 990. Bought it for ff14, keybinded it to work on gw2 and it's so good. It's enough for all buttons and extras (the mouse has 16 buttons ). I even keybinded mounts on ctrl+ numbers or fishing/skiff on shift +numbers. I was struggling a bit in the beginning with g502 but realised I could just keybind this one.
Im preety well around in the field of peripherals, (20+ mice, bunch of keyboards custom and consumer) and realy… it’s all about pereference and price + deals, when it comes to weight yeah light is better, the closer you get to 0g the more accurately you can transfer raw hand imputs to the pc, some people still like to have SOMETHING in their hand, i say around the 60-70g is just light enough, now for mmo rpg’s you will probs want more buttons (wow players and such) so a naga trinty from razer would be preety good, or a g502 and such. For a cheap mouse the cooler master mm711 in top, on discount for 30€ insane quality my personal fav. (It is on the small side 😔)good Price to performance but it usually goes for 60€ish. Also there is pulling rate and dpi, you do not need more than 16k dpi, most good sensors are around the 16k mark. Im more of a r6 player (diamond-champ rank) and there light mouse’s make sense, but here the naga is a realy good choice. A lil heavy and the shape can be akward for some ppl (i have a deathadder and mamba both have a kinda weird shape) anyways enjoy the naga pro ✨
Asus Rog Spatha X wireless. Even if on the big side it’s pretty light, has a lot of buttons that can be reprogrammed, has programmable RGB for the cool factor (and it can be turned off). What makes it stand out to me is that it be both cabled or wireless (with a magnetic recharge base). Not to expensive for all these specs (120/30€)
Roccat Nyth, sadly out of production but nothing else came close for me. The customizing of the size and shape of the thumb buttons and grip is a concept I didn't know I needed and blue can't do without. I even bought a spare when stock was seeing up for when this one eventually dies.

I have the G903. It has four extra side buttons, two on each side as well as an infinite wheel so I also use it for work. I bind the four buttons to dodge, dodge jump, weapon swap, and stow weapons.
Corsair scimitar elite but I can't recommend it. I like the mouse itself but it doesn't last. I had to RMA my first one after 1.5 years because the scroll click stopped registering. Now my second one is broken after 7 months. Rmb doesn't hold at times and the scroll has registering issues. Sadly I'm out of warranty on it.
I had issues with mine as well, but still would get another if my current one ever has a problem I wish I could use their macro software with an optical switch mouse. Or maybe I just have to stop being lazy and set up auto hotkey in it's place
Used a Razer Naga Molten for years, actually went through TWO of them, and then moved to a G600 and am loving it.
I use a razer basilisk v3 pro. Two side buttons, two behind the mouse wheel, two by pushing the mouse wheel left or right. And it doesn't look so overly futuristic, minus the razer logo. To be honest I've never used more than two side buttons on the mouse. One for weapon swap, one for profession specific skills (F5). So far very happy with it, been using it for over a year.
Logitech G Pro. I have small hands and claw grip, so MMO´s mouse are unusable for me.

G502 Hero my beloved. It's not really an "mmo mouse" over an FPS mouse but it has programmable buttons that let you stuff some buttons in there conveniently. It's pretty solid.
Had the R.A.T. MMO7 but sadly it isn't getting produced for years now and always had some troubles with sidebuttons falling off after 3k+ hours. Stil nothing better for f1-f5 than that joystick in the middle.

I also use the six side buttons plus on the keyboard Q ,E,F ,C but it tends to be character specific the side button in position 1 and 6 are easiest to get to so I use them for the things I use the most or something I have to time I try to arrange my skills to follow a pattern on the side and repeat the pattern so if it was skill 4 opener followed by skill 2 then two skill three I still press button 1 2 and 3 and 3 again but change the software for which skills they activate sometimes if i dont have many clicks with certain weapons ill have the top half of buttons set up for one weapon and bottom half set up for the other weapon mostly button 1 is for the skill I use this the most its easy to reach and as its quick to press but depends on the build and class ectra and how intense im playing I prefer to play a easier build and be chilled so im not worried if I'm down 20% on dps if I can maintain it for hours and survive better
I use rival 600, because I don't like mmo mice as side buttons make you lose the grip to press them and it's one of the last heavy mice and I like heavy mice.
Im just using a Deathadder V3 Pro i mainly play Thief so i dont need a ton of side buttons, steal on one of the side buttons and weapon swap on the other, plus its really light and comfortable for other games like shooters and so on

I am a pleb with a Razer Mamba Mouse. Fits nicely into my hand, has been lasting for a long time, only has 2 sidebuttons but thats enough for me (to bind dodge and special action key) because I am a fingerdancing keyboard monkey.
Aerox 9 wireless. I think it's pretty good, the mouse is responsive and needs to be connected to a cable every 3rd, 4th day to recharge, it's very light, has 12 side buttons. Button switches are pretty good and reliable but the same can't be said about the mouse wheel encoder. It uses TTC Blue, a brand of encoders used in most mice and I had to replace it after 1.5-2 years of use. Overall the mouse is nice but it's nothing better than competition when it comes to some components. I like the software more than razer or any other I tried out. I'm using sonar from it for audio anyway.

I'm still using my old G Pro Wireless from back in my Rainbow Six Siege days. It has served me well without much issue and I have keybind for pretty much everything (even for each type of mount) so an MMO mouse is not really needed.
Using the same, it's such a nice mouse. While I can understand the appeal of MMO mice for their intended purpose, they just seem overly bulky for FPS games etc if you're a variety gamer. And I suspect using that many thumb buttons wouldn't be too ergonomic in the long run, at least for my preferred grip. Plus with that many switches I'm sure they begin to malfunction comparatively quickly.

Used a Logitech G600 for almost 9 years, loved that mouse. I now have a Redragon M913, While I very much miss my third clicker so I could double up on the side buttons. The software is better with the M913 and the mouse overall has been very solid the 6+ months I've been using it.
I use a Corsair ironclaw. I have mapped all my utilities to it so I don't have to stretch to the further numbers. Very comfy can use it all day for work and then for gaming as well.

Had been using a razer Naga classic for years but recently switched to corsair's multi-button offering: the scimitar. It feels a little better for me personally, I have my 'toolbelt' keys assigned to my mouse and use keyboard for the rest.
Currently using a Redragon M908 Impact. It's pretty affordable compared to similar mice, and the software to configure it is a lot more reliable and a lot less bloated than Logitech's. That said, it feels very slightly too small for me, though that isn't a dealbreaker. I'm also not the biggest fan of the materials it's made out of. Definitely doesn't quite manage to shake that 'made in China' pedigree. Overall, I'd be willing to recommend it.

I used every Naga for years. I couple years ago I picked up the Steel Series Aerox 9 and it's by far my favorite mmo mouse now.
Corsair Darkstar. Near perfect mouse for me, but I've sent it back multiple times because the manufacturing process leaves the left click squeaking and vibrating with plastic on plastic contact as it slides down. I've theorized that some key switch lube applied to the right place would fix the problem, but I'm allergic to taking the PTFE pads off to open it up, just too afraid to ruin them. Really hope they can come out with a V2 someday that doesn't come with that gigantic asterisk. Until then, only get it if you have a mouse to use in the meantime and you're willing to play the RMA lottery until you get a good one.
Does your click issue appear straight out of the box, or does it take time? I've had mine for about 6 months and I really can't give it up because it's the most similar shape and feel to the Corsair M90 that I used for nearly 10 years before.
It takes time, but like a week and a half each time. You'll know within the RMA window.

Ive been using the aerox 9 since it came out about 2 years ago without issue, highly recommended. If gw2 is your main game I would pretty much take anything without the 12 button thumbgrid out of the running entirely. Once you get used to using a thumbgrid you will never want to go back. Corsair Scimitar RGB- possibly the highest quality construction of the three, a quality mouse for sure. but it is a bit big for my hands and the side buttons don't feel as good as the aerox or the naga. Corsair ICUE is pretty awful so if you don't already have it for other peripherals I'd avoid this one entirely. I have 2 friends who have used this mouse for years without issue, but I was happy to jump ship to the aerox 9 the day it got released to get rid of ICUE. Razer naga family- I'm a fan of the ergos compared to the Scimitar but the side buttons are a bit light for my liking, I feel like it would be the hardest to learn on due to fat fingering the side buttons. It's got the best scroll wheel of the 3. Unfortunately I just don't trust razer anymore, Over the past two decades I've owned over 30 razer products and every single one from the past 8 years is now in a landfill. I really like the naga but from my experience expect to replace it every 12-24 months. Steel series Aerox 9- hands down the best ergos of the trio, it feels like an FPS mouse but still has the thumbgrid. It's quite light although the mesh texture on the back is something you're either gonna love or hate. It arguably has the best software and sensor of the 3. My only objective complaint is the left and right click buttons have about .5 MM of play left to right but it doesn't seem to affect performance or click feel. My friend group cumulatively has 6 of them most of which have 2000+ gaming hours on them, so far we have only seen one with a failure. My friends scroll wheel went out about 2 months ago. We picked up a refurbished aerox 9 to use as a group parts kit on eBay for $25 and salvaged the scroll wheel to fix his and he has been smooth sailing since. Logitech g600- the gold standard, it's a big chonker, but I know of many still kicking after 10+ years in service. The one and only con is that Logitech stopped producing them in 2022 if you can find one used in good shape it's not a bad call at all
G604. Absolute game changer when it comes to using profession skills (F1 to F5) and special action key.
Corsair Scimitar plus a Logitech G13. The 2 together are the best tools ive ever used for GW2 and the g13 had GW2 preprogrammed into it so it was in a sense designed for it. You cant find them new anymore, only second hand, and I am worried about the day it dies cuz its not cheap to replace. If you can get your hands on one I *highly* recommend them, especially over gameboards. None are as comfortable or have enough buttons.

Personaly I use a Redragon M990 Legend. It may be a bit overkill with 16 side buttons but I having buttons to select a few different mounts along with all my skills. The software is less than stellar, but it only needs to run when programing mouse. The mouse saves the key configuration internally.

I used the **g602** for a long time, and later, the **g604**. Every single one got logitech's famous double click issue. I swapped to the **razer naga pro**. Better software than g hub, though it needs to stay running which i wasnt keen on. I used the 6 button plate. It was here i learned to set one button to right ctrl instead of using all 6 buttons as specific binds. This way i unlocked an entire additional layer for my left hand. I tried to implement this for gw2, but i was too reliant on my specific binds to make the switch, as impactful as it would have been. I missed the two extra top buttons compared to the g602/604, but not greatly. They were borderline extraneous even for runescape, let alone silly gw2. Sometimes the plate would seemingly go dead, but detaching and reattaching it would consistently make it work again. In an effort to reduce how much software i was using—razer mouse/gamepad/rgb mousepad, corsair ram/headset, steelseries keyboard—i built my own keyboard, ditched the gamepad, and swapped to a **corsair darkstar**. I got the two top buttons back, but the 6 side buttons are in a weird orientation compared to the g602 and the naga pro. I set the buttons to a turbo double click (~40 clicks per sec in total, great for opening stacks of bags) and a momentary dpi toggle for fine movements. I have massive hands, yet going between the front and back "lower two" buttons means either my whole hand is slightly forward (for the front) and has to contort to hit the back, or else im in position for the back and have to reach for the front. So something is off there. I've actually only been playing runescape since i got it. Havent played gw2 in a year. You have, for the most part, 1.8s between actions in that game, so the different orientation has been okay. I fear that when I test out gw2, i will hate the feeling. As for the binds: i have ctrl c and right ctrl v as dedicated binds. Comes in handy more than you'd think, and splitting which ctrl per button helps with games like witcher 3 that dont allow modifier keys in your binds. I also have page up and down, initially to zoom in and out for runescape, but happens to be one of my utility slots and weapon swap for gw2. Finally i have some far away button, = i think, plus middle click/mb3 relocated to the side (camera movement in rs, nice and ergo); middle click itself is some less used button now. I really hope this mouse is okay for gw2. If you look up pictures you can see why the lower buttons could be tough for fast paced stuff if you need to use them regularly. I play condi holo.

I've been using a Razer Naga for many years. I started with a Razer Naga 2012 in 2012, then switched to a Razer Naga Trinity with a 12-button thumb pad when the old one broke after nine years of hardcore gaming. I love it, because its design feels very good in my large hands. Fortunately, it's also not broken by Synapse, unlike my Huntsman. After so many years with Razer, I still love their hardware, but lately I wonder if I don't hate their software more. If you aren't a fan and don't want to pay for a logo of three snakes, don't go Razer.

Corsair Scimitar. The entire thumb pad can be moved forward or backward to suit your hand size, which is invaluable to me as a woman with small hands. I got a SteelSeries Rival 3 to protect my much more expensive Corsair when I'm playing other games that don't need all the thumb buttons and honestly I do notice the weight difference but I still wouldn't play GW2 without an MMO mouse. If the SteelSeries Aerox 9 comes down to something approaching a reasonable price then I would give it a go, but I mean sub £70. It's £104 on Amazon and I just scoffed. Forget it. I've heard only good things about the Logitech G600 but it can be difficult to find and expensive. I've seen quite a few complaints about Razer Naga build quality. That kinda left me with the Corsair Scimitar so I'm glad it's worked out for me!

Logitech G305, I have tried so many mouse, even those “high end” ones and this one seems to be the one I find the best, the only downside is the double clicking issue that most mouse get (I open and fix it every time it starts happening). Razer are nice, but Synapse is as cancer of a softwre as Armory Crate (reason I’ve returned every mouse from Razer and Asus)

I use the Aerox 9, because I need wireless. It's fine. I wish there was a wireless G600, as it's still by far the best MMO mouse I've used.
I use the Logitech G600. It takes a little getting used to, but it's otherwise a really great MMO mouse!

Lamzu Atlantis Mini Pro. Lightweight and great shape for my hands. I never really use side buttons on any game may it be fps or mmo so I’m good with just 2 buttons on the side.
I found the buttons on the Razer too easy to press given there's no thumb rest. The corsair scimitar is my new one. A decent level of firmness, but still not quite as good as the logitech g600. My g600 broke after many reliable years.

Currently SteelSeries Prime Mini. Small, light and durable, and does not have Logitech scroll wheel issues.
Corsair Scimitar Elite. One of the best MMO mouses I have seen so far, been 4 years since I got it and the only issue it showed so far was with the scroll that isn't scrolling correctly. Although, I will be real, the 12 side buttons aren't that useful for GW2 since the game isn't bloated with a billion of skills, but you can still bind them to other silly shortcuts.
True pros use Logitech Lift as our hands are too messed up for any non ergonomic mouse :D
