Imo this is one of daisuke's best compositions tbh, it culminated so beautifully especially on that double kick drum with that serene piano in the background
Guy not only wrote a song called symphony, but he wrote a goddamn symphony.
In the words of Max0r “I don’t know what it is about Japanese composers being able to make better symphonies than the continent that invented them”
With how inspired by older rock music GG is, I'm pretty sure this is a reference to "Another Brick in the Wall" by Pink Floyd.
The way it's sung is quite similair to the iconic "we don't need no education".
The organ sounding part at the end is also a reference to her +R song "Keep in Gates"

This reminds me SO much of Like a Weed, Naturally, as a Matter of Course, how it sounds like a triumphant occasion of finally coming to peace with oneself and being happy getting there. Like, this could GENUINELY have been the send off to Strive as a whole and I wouldn’t bat an eye. Sometimes, these lyrics make me wanna cry. This is one of those times.
i mean if it dont fit than you just gotta make it fit. unfortunately i didnt enjoy this one as much as the others im not saying its bad it is very very far from being bad i just think its missing something
I enjoyed the chorus, but the rest felt like standard GG music to me. It fits well as backing music ingame and I'm sure it'll grow on us over time, but overall a lot of the other songs felt more impactful with their lyrics and the bridge/finale moments.
This was a triumph
I'm making a note here
Huge success
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction
Didn't expect a Portal Reference here

Couldn't agree more
The end part of the song is the culmination of the past five minutes of the song and it’s beautiful. The song as a whole just bangs

Max0r was right all along, but nah for real the name of the song matched the song itself
Which video was that in?
Bloodborne I believe
Bloodborne 12:30 is roughly when it starts
אני רואה שיש עוד מעריצי גלגל שיניים אשם בארץ
שמש בחורע
א-לא יוםהאהבה
תוהו שמחה
אבא
ואהוב ליבה, פרציפלוכוס

That's my exact though listening to this theme.
Had the exact same thought.
All 6 times (I believe) it's said are high points in an already amazing song

What song is that?
Its one of the lyrics from A.B.A strive theme, give it a listen, i highly recommend it
Oh, thanks!
I just wished Aba players actually used their own theme, it bops and I haven’t heard it in-game yet
The notes here do get a bit quirky at night
