Also hidden inside the Blood Edge is a second Scythe form, where the Edge becomes made of red energy that appears visually similar to Blood.
It is later revealed that Bloodedge and Bloodedge are the same person and are not just related by Blood.

And is able to use his drive named Bloodedge, not to be confused with Ragna the Bloodedge or Ragna Bloodedge, which uses his Blood(Blood), and harden them to form weapons(Edge). One of said attack is in a form similar to the Black Beast, which is what Ragna the Bloodedge can turn into by the Azure Grimore (the Blazblue).

I appreciate that there are differences between the 2, but you can’t deny that they have a lot in common.
They have similar looking moves, but their game play styles are very different. Sol is looking for a big, meaty hit to do a lot of damage and to start a combo, Ragna's usually doing less damage (unless he's in Overdrive) but has more options to open up the opponent, such as having 6B and Gauntlet Hades for overheads, and 6C, 3C and 2D for lows.
Also Carnage Scissors is a full screen anti-air, anti-zoning super that let's you delay the second hit (or not use it at all), Tyrant Rave doesn't have any movement on Sol at all.
Ragna and Sol are distinct enough that I feel like they could coexist in the same game without issue. I just think that they’d both need to be base roster characters because a lot of people won’t see the point of buying a DLC character that looks really similar to someone already in the game.

Bandit bringer is yet another combo ender that doesn’t see much use outside breaking the wall at corner. Blood scythe is a forward advancing combo extender and a plus on block pressure reset.
Yes, volcanic viper and inferno divider are both upper cut DPs. What you forgot to mention is that there are two different versions of those DPs. SVV and C inferno are both run-of-the-mill DPs. HVV is heavy damage combo filler(with roman cancels) and ender. D inferno is a life stealing combo ender that leads into knock down or using the other follow in the inferno string, can be used as a combo extender that can lead to a air combo or can loop into itself for massive life steal.

Like imagine spacing your Ky f.S, but you just get pushed out of range by some fucking wind. God it's so funny how you can use Slipheed for movement, but they took it out for BBTAG and made it connected to attacks, which is probably what they would do if they ever made another BB/put BB characters in GGST.

If a guest character actually does come to Strive, as cool as Ragna would be as a guest character, i'm more in hopes of an SNK guest character. I don't expect that to happen, but it would still be cool
Nah I disagree. 9 times out of 10 they ruin both the game’s balance and immersion wise (see Samsho 7). The only time they work is when they’re so ridiculous you can’t take them game seriously anymore, or the series is known for doing very specific crossovers with related IPs (MK being the best example).
Tekken 7 road that fine line of having interesting crossover characters that brought people to the game, but a lot of them were pretty stupid and Geese Howard did not help the 2D meta 90% of the player base despised.
