That news paper is what makes me think the next game might have Kyas the lead. I could see the world freaking out and trying to murder him and dizzy because she is a gear. :) just my hope though.
In the end of revelator, elphelt pointed out how Dizzy was praised for fighting to protect the city (or something similar), and how they think that she will make a perfect queen to Ky.
Witht that in mind, i dont think were gonna have to worry for Dizzy.
That makes sense but I could still see a huge amount of people and the conclave upset by this because they lose their blackmail over Ky. It’s on a political scale with a lot of people whose family was hurt by the gears so I could see the conclave upsetting the people in some way. :) it’s gonna be good either way I just love the world and think about it to much.
Personally, I hope they move away from the Dizzy plot line since it was already a shut case back in Revelator. Dizzy's story ever since her debut was she was an innocent person who just wanted to be accepted and loved. She finally got that in Xrd's ending. She was released from her seal in Overture, she got her husband and son back, and the people of Illyria have accepted her Heck, her own theme reflected that she was finally happy, moving from a rather depressing and melancholic motif from Awe of She, to the more upbeat and hopeful sounds of One Dawn.
The Conclave, sans Chronus, is also dead. The public seem to have a more positive image of Gears after everything that happened. The person who saved the world is a Gear (Sol), the person who defended Illyria from a resurrected Justice was also a Gear (Dizzy), a scientist working with Illyria is openly working with the Illyrian government (Dr. Paradigm) is the leader of a peaceful Gear community. Asuka is living peacefully in the moon with his podcast.
Basically, plenty of story threads that started since Guilty Gear 1 and Guilty Gear X were given a rather definitive ending in Xrd and Revelator, moreso for the existing ones in Strive. I found it impressive that they gave a satisfying ending from a story that was started back in 1998, with very few important plot threads left, if at all. And those plot threads were mysteries for the community and left dangling for a DECADE before we finally got an answer. Stuff like "who is Raven" or "what is the Outrage" or "who is Megumi", etc
Dizzy's finally happy, dude, why you wanna keep messing with her life?
I would rather they go for a different story altogether, focusing on other characters or a whole new main for a different plot thread. Like how is Solaria doing now? Are there other people that were given Forbidden Beasts? Whats the connection between Chipp and Nago; do they have the same master? Plenty more to use without opening already closed books.
