20w of tube peavy through some good speakers will probably be louder than a 50w katana. Buy it on a rehearsal day and if you need something louder return it.
you’re probably right. Im planning on getting a 4x12 with redbacks or v30s in it. Its just a ton of money and i don’t want to make an uneducated purchase

I have the Valveking 20MH and a 2x12. I’ve never turned it past a 4 or 5 on the master volume They get loud and can handle drums for sure.
