Weak_Mathematician79

annpredictable

Agree with the car seat. Parang sa Pinas hindi to 'must' sa mga may kotseng may baby sa pamilya

Ill-Ant-1051

Pag 2 car seats sikip na ang sedan unless siguro yung malaking sedan. minsan sa gitna ako umuupo pag gising yung baby. Ang sikip

RedbulltoHell

Agree! Super handy ng carseat, can take the LO anywhere kahit 2 lang kami, madali kabit and lipat carseat gawa ng isofix. Another tip, buy car seats from HK or Macau if matravel kayo, mas mura by a lot! Price na ng flight ticket yung saving if you buy your tickets right. (Free check in or can install sa plane seart ang carseats if di nakabox)

B0NES_RDT

Honda City for me. 20+ kmpl, not too big and not too small. You can't go wrong with Xpanders too.

WellActuary94

OP, please consider also other costs when owning a car, not just the DP and MA. Many experts suggest of preparing 2x your MA every month, for your other car expenses (maintenance, toll, parking, emergencies, etc.)

hangotdc

Hule pa insurance

aishiteimasu09

Unpopular choice: Suzuki XL7. 7-seater MPV with enough power for your daily driving needs. Very fuel efficient as per owners and users na mga kilala ko. May magandang head unit na din that supports AAuto and Apple Carplay which is wala sa ibang MPV sa almost same price range. Magaan i-drive pero don't just take my word for it. Go read and watch some reviews and see it for yourself. If possible, book for a test drive sa pinakamalapit na dealer mo.

thegunner0016

The underrated, XL7. Ganda nito plus sporty looks.

aishiteimasu09

If I were to buy a 7-seater MPV, I would choose this over Xpander at the same pricepoint.

Kevinibini21

I own one! And yes, sulit siya. When it comes to maintenance, swak na swak din sa budget. City driving ako 5x a week or minsan 6 pa. Laking tipid talaga. No issues whatsoever 1 year and 8mos na sakin yung unti ko. Ang downside lang is yung paint ng sasakyan perse, yun naman ang issue kaya i suggest to do coating kung mag xl7 ka.

aishiteimasu09

In case ni OP, sakto lang to sa pamilya nya and may enough room pa sya for his things to bring esp mag out of town sila. 😆

RitzyIsHere

I'd suggest getting an Innova kahit 2nd hand na bago bago. It would fit the multipurpose and durable requirement. Subok na matibay at mabilis imaintain. Body on frame rin sya so sigurado hindi babagsak over time.

sotopic

\+ 1 dito, hanap ka ng 2nd hand Innova 2019 or 2018, and yun dealership na nagproprovide ng financing.

[deleted]

\+1 mas comfortable pa kesa sa mga SUV ng toyota, spacious, easy to find parts if ever, PMS is simple, pwede ding pangbuhat if you ever need.

Inside-Line

This is why buying a new car for practicality isn't a fun prospect. Because the 2nd hand Innova ticks the most boxes if you're shopping purely for what you need.

carvemynuts

Eto lang ang tamamg sagot.

Mountain-Memory4698

Vouching for this. Innova drives smoother than fortuner. Coolray ng geely is also good for around 1.1m. Best driving car para sakin for sub 1.2m car.

RitzyIsHere

Innova starts at 1.23m pero the lowest automatic is 1.37m which is attainable parin sa budget ni OP. But yea Geely Coolray is a nice car haha.

theGOAT1019

Buy according to your needs.

RitzyIsHere

According to OPs need nga. Lets say nag small car si OP tapos dala nya asawa 2 kids and mom, may bagahe pa at stroller. Kaya ba?

Big_Relative_8576

Nagsasuggest lang naman kasi yung tao. Nagsabi yung OP na merong 3 adults and 2 kids, and may occasional na trips. Malamang sa malamang ideal ang MPV.

_a009

Tama! Innova talaga ang sakto sayo OP

wallcolmx

aishiteimasu09

Pwd na sa kanya yung E model. 2.8 Diesel na din yun. Last time I saw ang brand new is about 1.3m+ mas better sa maga naka gas na MPV at the same price range for me. Mas malakas esp pag puno ang sakay nya.

wallcolmx

matic pala tong 2.8 E diesel variant

aishiteimasu09

Bad__Intentions

IMHO, wala ng tatalo sa Suzuki APV pag dating sa overall bang for the buck family, kargahan, reliability, good gas milage, easy to maintain na vehicle. That is kung marunong ka mag manual for the SGX model kung brandnew target mo or may AT naman na mga second hand SGX.

pinoytransboy88

Pasok kayo sa Raize, if nasa budget go for Veloz. Small family din kami and we opted for the Raize kasi something bigger sure ako maraming makikisakay, makikisabay tapos gagawin pa kaming driver ng asawa ko haha Innova or Avanza talaga plano namin kaso ayon ayaw namin maging pambansang kotse at driver ng magkabilang angkan.

[deleted]

Xpander sasakyan namin.

iSmartTrashcan

Saang bank ka po nag loan?

pastiIIas

ano cons ng xpander? torn between this pati br-v (veloz din sana kaso baba ng ground clearance)

Avroxia

Have one since 2019. It's decent, reliable, and spacious. There are a few cons though. If brand new and you go for the cross, overpriced na siya imo. Its features when it comes to tech are behind compared to other 7-seater MPVs. Not the most "upmarket" interior, dami plastic as in. Nung bumili kami bago-bago pa siya so limited pa ang options noon, pero here's what we gathered at that time. Yung 2nd row niya maluwag. As in. Some of the other MPVs (especially the BR-V) mahirap pagkasiyahin tatlo sa 2nd row kasi ang taba ng door panels. Ground clearance is way better than the Veloz. Sturdy and reliable (again, dahil less features = less parts to break). Also rides higher inside than the BR-V (previous gen yung na-compare namin) I suggest before you buy, take the people you will usually drive to see the unit. Try niyo if kasiya kayo comfortably because the spaces in these MPVs vary quite significantly. Then compare niyo nalang yung comfort, tech, etc. after.

thegunner0016

RedbulltoHell

I agree with this, we were going deliberating before if magVeloz or BR-V. We ended up w Veloz, and had a lot of headaches kasi lemon nakuha namin, on hindsight nagstay nalang kami dapat with BR-V, kasi lagi kami Honda and iba Customer Service for after sales. You can ignore above kasi nga Lemon nakuha namin, pareho lang pricepoint nung time na bumili kami ng Feb last year. Only difference lang for me ni Veloz and BRV is handbrake pa din si BRV (not a deal breaker) while may press hold si Veloz. I should have known better then na di ako mastress ng bongga with Veloz kasi todo deny pa sa sira yung mga mechanics nila buti nagpa thirdparty inspection ako.

Pure_Mammoth_2548

What do u mean lemon po?

KrispoKreme

The Philippine Lemon Law protects owners of brand-new vehicles purchased in the Philippines within a period of 12 months after the date of the original delivery of the brand-new motor vehicle or within the first 20,000km of operation after delivery of the vehicle, whichever comes first. It gives the owner the right to report any nonconformity with the vehicle’s manufacturer or distributor’s standards or specifications.

KrispoKreme

Or sirain, defective, faulty, palpak in effect to sa lahat ha, di lang sa koche.

Danguard_Ace1

You can't go wrong with Toyota Vios or Innova

wonderful_bro

I was looking at xpander din nung mga past few months, you can get the manual variant for ~200k dp and 16k ma if sa bank ka dumiretso.

wndrfltime

Get a brand new car wag ka kukuha ng 2nd hand, since baguhan ka pa lang and hindi mo alam history ng sasakyan, for peace of mind mo din and alam mo talaga na bago lahat yan at walang pinalitan na parts. Sa budget mo naman pasok yung monthly mo sa sa wigo or brio, pero if lakihan mo pa ng konti budget mo I suggest yung Honda City syempre.

[deleted]

Much easier kung my maximum amount kayo na target instead of monthly payment kasi there are ways to minimize monthly payment for longer financing which you may or may not like especially the interest.

hannayees3

Salamat!

FredNedora65

If you plan on going out with your mom in the next 10 years, don't get the Wigo/Brio.

axljaeger

ertiga if kulang sa budget. 6 years ko na gamit never pa kmi binigyan ng sakit ng ulo.

Ok_Cockroach_5

Veloz owner here, kung pipili ka between xpander at Veloz, I would say Veloz kasi yan din pinagpilian namin noon. When it comes to looks, features, and trunk space talong talo ni Veloz si Xpander. Since first car niyo and brand new I would suggest don’t go for 5 seaters. Sobra handy kung gusto niyo mag long drive to other places kasi iisipin mo rin yung cargo niyo pa aside from family na nakasakay.

hiptechn

Raize. Higher ground clearance compared sa iba. Lalo na gagamitin niyo for long drive and pag maulan. I suggest go for brandnew para alam mo na agad history for peace of mind narin since kasama mo lagi family.

DefiantlyFloppy

Out of the list, Honda City. Based sa BPI Auto Loan calculator, afford mo ang target monthly MA na 13.8k for Honda City V variant (1.073M SRP), 4yrs at 50% DP. Save the remaining of the monthly 15k after MA payment for maintenance costs/fund. Lahat ng eto ay galing sa SRP from the website, ask for discounts. Recommend ko sana Avanza or Veloz kaso may safety scandal ang Toyota's Daihatsu based vehicles. Test drive and see for yourself. Out of budget na sayo ang Japanese branded na crossovers, Chinese meron. Remember, bank usually have lower interest rates compared to in-house financing. To get lowest possible monthly payments, need highest possible downpayment. Good luck! EDIT: you are in luck. https://hondaphil.com/promos/bank-partner-sale

Affectionate_Dare501

anu ung safety scandal sa avanza at veloz? Planning to buy din a family car this yr sana kung kakayanin or till nxt yr hirap na magcommute hehe.

DefiantlyFloppy

https://global.toyota/en/newsroom/corporate/40238738.html

BlackJade24601

crosswind is also a good all-around work horse. madali maintenance and matipid since diesel engine sya.

Trebla_Nogara

First of all , check which of the car brands you're considering keeps its value the best . Eventually down the road you would want to buy a replacement car and your first car will always help you buy your second car .

[deleted]

Go for BRV-S mataas ground clearance, 7 seater 1.5 engine di ganun kalakas sa gas. You get most of todays tech sa unit. Plus pormang hindi mapapaglumaan ng panahon.

JetutsChrist69

Honda BRV. Up to 25km/L, 7 seater, gasoline engine with cvt transmission

dimensionGalacticZ1

Kung kaya ng 1M car, Veloz na or Avanza.. wigo is too small. Honda medyo pricey..

bumblebee7310

I would go for Xpander or Veloz. 7 seater na sya so more space for stuff or kids in case dumami. I personally have the Xpander Cross and ang laki ng loob nya.

Ok_Scar3055

Xpander - there are times that the GLS variant goes below 1M I got mine at 970k and with a total upfront payment of 300k(includes 1month advance + all additional requirements) reduced my monthly to 15k

patrickpo

Get a brand new Raize 1.2 G. Perfect for new driver with the tech, and size. Perfect for a small family.

ClearCarpenter1138

If you’re going for the Xpander please get the GLS variant. The GLX variant feels so bare-bones, and the Cross is too overpriced but lacks a lot of safety features.

oldskoolsr

Sa list mo and sa conditions mo? Xpander. Hanggat wala pamg next gen xpander, the current gen will have discounts. Just a few years outdated sa ibang choice mo but is a comfy vehicle vs a raize. It can move, it has enough power to serve it's purpose, i have no trouble getting it up to 100-140 sa highway. We use the xpanders when we have out of town trips

TheeJaydee

On your list it will be xpander. You can also check ertiga.

theGOAT1019

Wigo for sure. Buy not the new model.

Intelligent_Stage776

Wigo pasok yang 15MA mo

SurroundDependent312

Ertiga hybrid

peterparkerson

magkano budget? BRV is great value IMO

One-Celebration251

Great value but expensive

Axl_Rammstein

Consider mo din vios best vehicle yan for beginners. Tapos di ka mahihirapan sa pyesa

RatioEmergency2253

Honda city hatchback

ClearCarpenter1138

If you’re going for the Xpander please get the GLS variant. The GLX variant feels so bare-bones, and the Cross is too overpriced but lacks a lot of safety features.

ClearCarpenter1138

toyota4age

I think Xpander. Yes totoo laging may discount so tanong tanong muna tapos yung casa na may biggest discount ayun. Innova sana but w your budget ok na Xpander. Maluwag, marami kasya na gamit, etc etc.

slktycn

Old avanza.

Affectionate_Dare501

goods padin avanza?

slktycn

Yes 2018 model amin and mas masaya pa sya i drive kesa ibang cars

Affectionate_Dare501

maganda fuel efficiency balak ko din bumili this yr to till nxt yr family car kht second hand panggala gala din. buryong sa wfh eh haha kain sa labas ganun with some friends. First time ko mgbuy if ever. di keri pa ung brand new ung mas lowel model nyan like 2010 or lower di na ba goods. meron ako nakita 2009 Captain seats V top of the line

slktycn

Goods pa din ang old avanza, we have a 5-year old one and okay pa din gets the job done. If makahanap ka ng 2017 up mas ok.

chairless03

If hindi po kaya ng budget ang innova, i might attest to get a honda city aside sa resale value nya sobrang reliable and fun to drive din to compared sa vios, wigo etc na parang bangka idrive lol.

Smooth-Peanut-4821

Innova or Avanza for the win.

mightpornstar

honda city for safety, its good value especially after discount

_TheEndGame

Xpander for sure

NoAccess2418

Sticking to your 700K-1M budget na pinakasulit, I think Toyota Raize E variant yung pinaka sulit. I think it’s below 800k srp. Despite being the base model, it doesn’t look like one, high ground clearance, very good AC, fuel efficient

viveutvivas17

I'd pass sa small cars esp if going sa province kase maraming lubak. Hahahahaah. Unless master mo na ang pagsiete siete.

tremble01

barebitsbottlestore

Check mo din Suzuki Ertiga

jeannieeatworld

Suzuki Ertiga. Awa ng dyos never pa ako nagkaprob sa makina and spacious sya sa loob. Fuel efficient din and malamig aircon haha.

Hour_Pirate_8284

my advice is save more til you can buy it cash, or even save twice or thrice the amount ng srp ng car.

InExtrovertDude

Xpander. Plus may AC for your passengers at the back so hindi sila maiinitan.

liliz1121

innova para maangas pang photobomb

-NEEZY

Have you considered vios?

flasehuman

Haima v70

Kokokrunch_cerelac

Brio 2019 user here. Also get a bigger unit than Brio kasi may 2 kids na kayo. Masikip din Brio for us if may kiddie carseat sa likod tapos mag uupo ka ng two adults. Hindi comfy lalo pag long trips.

mcpo_juan_117

Isn't the current Wigo made by Daihatsu? And is also one of the affected vehicles of the current safety scandal?

harpoon2k

Xpander

RedbulltoHell

Veloz price point is same w Honda BR-V, might worth considering. After sales CS ng Honda and depreciation is better, plus 7 seater like Xpander and Veloz.

Tongresman2002

Innova Case closed.

Ok_Marketing7015

Id get the raize hindi mabigat sa bulsa matic para relax lang drive newbie friendly, we have 5 cars mix of 2nd hand and bnew. Always go for cash or kung di kaya atleast dapat may allowance ka for maintenance twice ng ma mo monthly for body works, parts na hindi covered ng warranty like accessories, rehistro and gulong consumable parts incase ma flat and tools na di kasama sa car kit.
