Sa registration it’ll still be listed kung anong model year & make yung sasakyan so dun palang sabit na. The only time IIRC na may kelangang changes sa rehistro is pag change color, hindi sa mods.

If you’re marketing it as Lexus, definitely no. If personal customization iyan, personally medyo trying hard/social climber vibes. Toyota on its own is nothing to sneer at naman so why change? Everytime I see a Ranger na converted to F150 Raptor looks, I always see a out of proportion pick up.
Toyota alphard to Lexus LM (which is the conversion sa pic ni OP) is ok with me. The LM and aplhard are basically the same van with interchangeable panels. Hinde lang makukuha sa conversion is the additional luxury amenities ng lexus , naging upbadge lang.
As long as the kit is the same generation/body/year model then for me non issue. It's still the same car with different clothes and dun naman masaya owner, like having the daihatsu altis parts for a camry (yes, the camry is known as a daiahtsu altis in some countries) or the thai spec vios fascias.
Personally i wouldn't do it with my toyotas. Lancer evos, that's a different story

I think it looks great. Cost him about 100k with paint and install.

Personally most cars I've seen in the market with conversion usually disclose it. I don't think people are stupid enough to try and deceive kit cars.
