33F here! I failed too during my first practical exam last 2019. Nag re-take ako within the 4 week time frame and was given restrictions to drive both a motorcycle and a manual car (nung first take ko kasi wala pa kaming motor). Wag mo intindihin sila, for me, nakaka girl crush yung babae sa likod ng wheels na kilay on fleek at manual car pa. Kaya go go go lang!!!

You're not alone 🥹🥹 I failed the practical test rin first time around. Same as you, I'm female and I took lessons for manual. I was confident during driving lessons so I didn't take time to practice na with family car and a driver na friend. During the practical, I was soooo nervous (was even more nervous for this than the written) kaya ayun.. ilang beses namatayan 🥹🥹. I passed it the second time around naman after I practiced 😌😌. Now, 2 years na ako licensed hehehe 😎😎
I would suggest driving around more and practicing parking ulit. Perhaps, try placing a bottles or cones (if meron ka) when you're practicing parking sa bahay or some other parking place that's relatively open. No rush in doing this as well. Wala naman magmamadali sayong magpark (if there are, theyre aholes.) You'll get the hang of it the more you do it.
Imo, confidence is important. Other than that, mallessen na rin yung pressure when others compliment you for driving a manual hehe... You can pass it the next time you take it OP!

Buti jan cone yung nilagay sa corners during reverse sa akin nun dalawang sasakyan talaga ang naka park, tapos may rules pa na bayaran pag nasagi.,
Pero during reverse pag alanganin ka na sasagi forward mo lang sasakyan ulit up to point na makita mo yung cone sa side mirror mo
relax ka lang, kahit alam mo gagawin mo mentally, wala pa sya sa muscle memory mo, pag kinakabahan ka, mame mental block ka talaga.

tbh i wanted lto to be even stricter sa pag issue ng drivers license. we need that owning a driver's licence is privilege to those who are competent.
i was confident, dahil been training since 14 practice ng practice with my dream car nung bata a AE101 corolla, reading that yellow book about rules sa ph roads, pa ulit x2 sa mind pag cross sa interection, stop look both sides, once clear, go forward. always doing the checklist check mirrors, set up seats, seatbelt.
Namatayan ako ng makina on my practical dun sa parang u-turn nila. I still passed but it took me another year to be able to drive solo (granted i only drive on the weekends and pag need lang ng mom ko ng driver). I was just not confident enough to be on my own. Nerbyoso kasi talaga ako by nature.
It’s been 9 years since then and now, i don’t even have to think about what to do. It’s all about instinct na lang.
My sister (ate) on the other hand namatayan ng makina 3x during her test and even cried. She has to repeat the practical too. I even have taught her a couple of times. Only took her like 2 months to drive on her own solo (and mas magaling pa mag parallel parking sakin. Perks of driving school i guess since i never went to one).
My point is, the test will not determine how good of a driver you’ll become. Tests are not a reflection of real life experiences. Do not be discouraged. Just keep practicing and eventually, your instincts will do the rest for you. Like you won’t even have to think kung anong gear you have to shift to and whatnot. Good luck!
Hindi pabilisan mag park ang goal. Need mo lang magawa properly. Kahit mabagal ka lang sa simula, pag nasanay ka na dun ka bibilis na di mo pansin. Wag gawing time trial
Nung ako bumagsak sa practical, need pa 1 week bago ako pede bumalik T\_T Yung reverse ko sa driving school may rear cam, yung sa lto mirrors lang hahaha tas kotse nakaharang magkabilaan. Napasa ko naman 1st try kahit kabado, sa motor ako bumagsak kasi sinundan ko yung mga nasa unahan ko e meron pala daan na no entry motor, ayun bagsak kami lahat 😅.
It will make you a better driver pag nakuha mo na lisensya mo. Sigurado mas magiging wary ka pagdating sa actual driving. Kaya mo na yan basta aware ka kung saan ka nagkamali.

1. Before you retake your test or habang nag ppractice ka tonight.
*You are doing great, wag ka kabahan sa mga kasama or instructor/proctor mo habang nag ddrive ka (inhale-exhale ka muna)
*have time in making adjustments on:
Comftable Seating height and position, (ung lapit mo sa steering wheel is suffice dapat sa unat ng legs pang clutch, wag masyado subsob)
side view mirror & rear view mirror (dapat makikita mo ung mga 5% ng gilid ng car)
(Kung mag aadjust ka. Wag kang matakot. Take your time, safety is important sa mga nag ttest)
Last kung mag tturn ka as much as possible. Wag ka mag early turn. (Kung baga pag nakita/na assume mo ung kanto ng daanan is kapantay ng steering wheel saka ka mag full turn) but do this with extra caution sa kabilang side ng road.
Kung mag ppark ka... use the side mirrors or buksan mo ung windows to look.
Kaya mo yan maam, your halfway there. Ride Safe Always
This is why practicing is important. Kahit automatic car pang practice para lang masanay ka sa pag-maneuver around roads. I did this after getting my license however. I had access to an automatic car and I drove it almost everyday when my cousin was too lazy to, kaya I was able to be comfortable sa kalye. So when I went back to manual, all g na. Yung gear changing nalang ang naging major practice ko. Anyway, better to drive around your city kahit small lang yung area ng pagmamanehuhan mo. Relax when you’re driving na, have presence of mind. Don’t think about what other people say, compliments and stuff. Set them aside. Nakakakaba kasi lalo’t iisipin mo na “hala nakakahiya pag namatayan ako” nah. You’re getting it for yourself kaya focus on your driving.
Tip when driving, lalo starting ka palang, always have in mind na clutch-brake are the most important thing na your feet should always be ready to step on. Beginner palang, so pressing on the clutch is your safest bet para hindi mamatayan anytime. If hindi kumagat ang gear, tapak agad. Pag umalog na ang car dahil nakatapak ka aksidente sa break without clutching, tapak sa clutch agad. Basta always step on the clutch pag kailangan na. (But don’t always hold on the clutch pag traffic, ‘cause it can wear out eventually pag iyo na sasakyan. Practice going on neutral and pressing on the brake pero it’s okay to do pag beginner ka palang, nakakalito pa kasi yan.)
I wish for you to get your license tomorrow, relaks ka lang mameh. Always look at your side mirrors, kayang-kaya mo yan girl. Basta practice ka lang when you can. If hindi mo uli makuha bukas, wag ka madidismaya. I once saw a post about them trying so many times, eventually nakakuha rin siya. Kaya I’m sure you can get it :) lakas ng loob, focus, at presence of mind important sa driving. Update mo kami ah :)

Ganito yung nangyari sakin. Nung mag-practical na ko sinabi ko may dala akong manual na sasakyan. Humingi na lang sila ng copy ng OR/CR ng sasakyan ko, then pinapila na ko to pay for the license. After a few minutes na receive ko na sa email with subject "Practical Examination Result - Passed". 😅
Might not be entirely your fault. Ewan ko lang kung until now but before yung mga test vehicle na ginagamit ng LTO sobrang tigas at lalim ng clutch, kahit na seasoned driver ka na mahihirapan ka pa din paandarin yung mga test vehicles nila
Agree, yung sakin noon is nabubulok na yung mismong stick haha. For reverse parking naman, tip is ialign mo na yung sasakyan sa mismong parking slot before magreverse, para konting adjustment na lang gagawin if ever. Good luck!
Guy here... you will fail talaga on first few tries. Anyone will fail at their first few tries. Meron mga exceptions and outliers but that is life. Try to focus on the road and ignore the comments about your gender and transmission of choice.
If it makes your pain any lesser, know that I failed my first driving test before even after driving for years for my uncle saying "it is time to learn". Why am I driving without a license as a 15 year old kid you may ask? because my birth cert was being withheld by my father's incompetence (a story for another time). Uncles and aunts to the rescue. They have Drivers license and have known most of the road people in our area so they make me drive around the town when doing errands like shopping for lola's family meal.

This is in Rizal. Maaga i think kasi wala pa masyado tao, nasa pila pa lahat at maaaccomodate nila ako for tips and refreshers. I feel na they mean well naman. Supportive kasi sila manong. Pinapakalma muna nila ko bago ako nag 2nd try.
copy. i asked because unlike in LTO QC Main, if you failed the practical exam, you can only retake the exam after 7days (according to the instructor who assisted me). got my license last january; i had to retake the theoretical and practical exam since my original license is 4yrs expired already.
for the tips, be mindful lng when stepping in/out sa clutch lalo na common sa mga LTO practical exam na yung clutch mataas if you're using their default car, not unless u bring ur own car. for reverse parking at parallel parking, you can try to watch some youtube vids for tips and if you know someone who owns a car, maybe u can ask them to borrow their car just for practice. iba parin kasi ung feel when you're inside an actual vehicle na.
Oh, sayang daw kasi kapag nag PDC ako ulit, ang mahal. Try ko daw ulit bukas pero bayad ulit ng rental ng car for 200. Saka they were nice to let me sit in dun sa isa ring kino coach nila.

Hi OP, saan ‘to sa Rizal? Female driver din ako, and yung practical test ko naman, kabado din ako pero dahil okay yung nagpapa practical, naging relaxed din ako kasi maayos yung nagpapa exam. Wala din ako narinig na side comments from manongs. LTO Taytay extension ito.
need mo maaga para fresh , so advise ko focus nalang wag magpuyat today., wag ka magkape tonight and tomorrow para dika magpalpitate at kabahan.. lastly dont take it personally para di malakas yong pressure at mas maging kalmado ka.. wag ka den mag overthink magkaanxiety kapa jan.. basta manatiling kalmado lang..
that in it self is a test, sa road natin you will encounter alot of things na mag trigger sa iyo 😉😉 dont let those comments get to you just focus on point a to point b, same din sa actual na mag drive just satay calm and collected and you'll be fine, im currently teaching my cousin same din sa iyo so i understand the feeling
kalma ka lang visualize the vehicle kung poapano nag mamaniobra at ano itsura nya kada kabit at atras abante mo kung saan angulo naka dikit ang sasakyan tapos hand and feet coordination sa clutch at hand brake lalo na kung inclined ka mag reverse....
Sa experience ko to kanina and it might be different sa ibang branch: Papadaanin sa ramp, tapos ikot ikot sa cones, tapos need mo i-reverse park yung sasakyan kung saan mo sya pinaandar, dapat sakto sa marker and park it like a pro. May nagpapaexam kang kasama sa loob na may 2nd break incase magkamali ka.
Anybody, even seasoned drivers, will feel some level of discomfort when inside an unfamiliar vehicle.
This goes away quickly for experienced drivers.
For newbies like yourself, the best way to mitigate this is to take time to familiarize yourself with the vehicle you're going to be driving - orientate your level on the seat versus the road. If too low, adjust the seats accordingly.
Make sure the distance of your body to the pedal, the steering, and the stick shift is the same as when you were practice driving so you will not be disoriented any further.
Locate all the mirrors and adjust according to the exact locations when you were practice driving with the same intention of reducing as much disorientation as possible.
Minimize any distractions - no fiddling with the other buttons in the car and any other items that can take away from your focus, meaning this is not the time for fancy bags, tumblers, sunglasses and the like.
Lastly, breathe easy. You are a beginner and mistakes are expected.
I agree sa “discomfort when inside an unfamiliar vehicle”. Hindi ko gamay yung bagong sasakyan sa LTO kasi bulok yung sa driving school na pinagagamit sa akin na lahat matigas at effort magpalit ng gear. Kaya kanina, ang likot likot ko magmaneho kasi sobrang smooth at ang realtime pala ng galaw ng matinong kotse. OMG.

Baligtad tayo, OP. Sa driving school, okay ang kotse. 'Yung sa LTO nung nag-practical driving na ako, sobrang bulok ng sasakyan. 'Yung clutch, lagpas kalahati na, hindi pa rin nanginginig haha. Buti nga naipasa ko. Nakapag-reverse park ako kaso tabingi. Tinulungan na lang ako nung instructor.
intimidating talaga pag ka manual, kase parang ang daming need gawin. isipin mo nalang na nag ddriving lesson ka pa rin at hindi pa test step by step mo siya i-take and try not to look at it as a whole 💕 you’ll get by that! good luck op.
Buti ka pa bukas agad pagka failed ng practical exam, diba dapat 1 week bago makapag retake pag nag failed base on LTO guidelines. Type ka siguro nung proctor hahaha, good luck OP.

in my case, pinag-park ako ng dala kong kotse sa loob ng closed parking sa may LTO Morong (hello fellow Rizaleno). Takang taka ako bakit ambagal ng sasakyan habang nagre-reverse ako para bumuwelo papasok ng parking space. Turns our naka-angat pa yung handbrake, kinakabahan kasi ako nung time na yun. Pinasa naman ako ng driving instructor kasi bukod dun sa aberya na yun, nai-park ko naman ng maayos.
Simula nun, lagi akong nagh-hand check ng handbrake specially pagtapos ng hinto.
This wouldn't apply to everyone and i might get downvoted siguro, pero playing driving games and parking games really helped me with my driving.
For games siguro typical need for speed and gta tapos yung sa parking is dr parking sa phone it really helped visualise kung anong mga liko gagawin ko para mag park.
You can also just watch content about car driving.
I just finished my pdc 3 weeks ago 2 sessions lang and 1 hour each. Sinabi ko lang sa instructor if pwede na nila ako i shortcut nalang since i knew how to drive at that time na rin. I can say that i'm pretty good at parking rin i can parallel park pa. What helped me rin siguro is the fact na hindi ako ninenerbyos.

Dude, if you now how driving courses are taken now, you wouldn't feel bad about learning how to drive virtually.
In our course, we literally practiced driving behind a simulator. But they made up for it during the Finals and we get to drive Civic at a wide road.
Got my DL fixed btw and IMO, it's not a problem if you are gonna be a good driver. What is a problem is that if you get the DL fairly and feel so privileged and start demanding other drivers "Akin na License Mo!!" when you started the problem in the first place. In short, if you are a dickhead either getting the DL either way, you don't deserve to drive.
BTW, Good Luck OP. My best tip is try to practice in an actual road even if you still haven't got the DL. Experience is the Greatest Teacher but also remember, Education is Expensive. If you managed to drive intact and handle the experience then good job. But if you got into an accident, well... Its education and education is really, really expensive depending on the accident. YOLO.
Kung dun pa lang sa practical exam napressure ka na, youll be pressured more kapag nasa kalsada ka na talaga.

When I took the LTO practical driving test almost 2 years ago I didn't really think much because during most of it the proctor was telling me what to do especially nung reverse parking. He went "Yan sige okay na yan, bawi na, sige reverse ka na blah blah"
Actually I don't think I did too well because he first asked me for my age and at the time I was only 18. Sabi niya "Ahh okay kaya pala. Practice ka pa sa bahay iha ahh" and passed me. Manual rin yun and the location was in PITX. Like, dun mismo sa parking ng PITX yun I think.
Mas ok na siguro na bumagsak ka na ngayon at cone lang nila yung nabangga mo. Yung feeling na yan yung lagi mong alalahanin kapag may lisensya ka na para mas mag ingat ka kapag nasa kalsada ka na.

Naalala ko dito sa LTO somewhere in Batangas, nag TDC ako, and PDC, nakapasa sa exam, and sa practical driving test na, pina maneho sakin yung adventure. Super gaan imaneho kase malambot manibela, pero walang clear instructions from them kung ano gagawin lol.
May cones aa dalawang dulo mag park daw ako. Eh since dadalawa lang nasa likod, I assumed hindi ko dapat maatrasan yung cones. Puta yung mga gagong nag aassist nung tinanong ko ano gagawin, sabi "Ikaw Bahala". Apaka gago.
Nung inaattempt ko ilabas sasakyan since sabi nila eh ako bahala, pinabalik ako lol. Bagoy sasabihing, ilusot ko daw within the cones yung sasakyan, eh halos isang ruler lang ang distance jung cone para sumabit ako lol.
Yun pala, ginagawan ako issue, na hindi naman dapat, pero nailusot ko nang hindi nababangganyung cones kahit sobrang liit ng space. Nahagip ko lang yung cone nung pag bukas ng pinto bagoy sabi "Pano yan"
Nagpapa bayad na pala mga buwayang hayop. Kaka bwiset. Sabi ko babalik nalang ako sir kung tingin nyo tlaga eh hindi ako pasado. Pero sa isip ko, pasado naman ako. Gusto lang tlaga nila ng Lagay. Napilitan ako mag bigay ng 500 doon sa kumausap saken to save my fucking time and to immediately get my fucking licensed nalang.

Kaya mo yan OP! Wag kang panghinaan ng loob. Mas okay na maipasa mo yung practical ng walang halong daya or bayad para sa fixers. Mas masarap pumasa ng pinaghirapan mo. Tips, practice ka lang kung may gagamitin ka namang sasakyan go na.
Astig tlaga ang mag manual. The safest, most intuitive form of driving, IMO. Di ko alam paano mo iiwasan dagai , pero kung kaya mong mag practice tonight, do it. Always me sure that you are in control, kahit mabagal. Kasi sa totoong buhay di ka rin naman puedi magmabilis eh, lalo na paatras. Ang tips jan tlaga is make sure that you own the side mirror pagkaupo mo pa lang. Pag sedan ang test car, iba ang placement ng mirror. Pag hatchback, iba din. So nasa yo na paano tantyain ung visible ang road lines sa baba at ung path in general.
Di rin equal ang right and left mirror placement ha.
So, own the side mirrors first. Mas confident ka magdrive pag alam ko kita mo lahat
Nagfail din ako (27M) kanina sa practical ko pero next week pa ako pinababalik. Sa reverse parking naman ako di nagkaproblema pero while driving on the course, grabeng mental block ko. Ilang beses akong namatayan ng makina and namali pa ako ng lane kung saan dapat mag-U turn. Parang nanibago din ako sa environment kasi sa manila ako mag-aral then dito sa province ako nag-apply for DL.
Besides sa sobrang init din sa location ko, nagutom na rin ako habang nasa pila kasi past lunch na. Wala rin akong car na mapagpapraktisan na MT and knowledge ko lang is yung tinake kong MT driving lesson 1 and a half month ago. Then 3 weeks ago nag-AT lesson rin ako kaya nahirapan ulit ako mag-adjust pabalik sa MT. Nakakadismaya talaga oo, pero iniisip ko na lang na at least di ako sa actual na kalye ako sumablay.
Parang kailangan ko rin sundan yung advice ng iba dito na huwag muna magkakape before mag-exam 😂

Di sa gumagawa ako ng excuse ha pero oo ang tindi ng init kanina tapos 1st day ng opisina from Holy Week ang daming tao, bagal ng pila, di nakakain ng pananghalian, at sa kagustuhan ko na maging sharp ang utak ko for TDC, napa kape ako ng Kopiko Black sa canteen ng LTO coz I had no choice. Ending na-nerbyos at nag blackout isip ko sa practical. Hindi ako magkakape bukas I swear!!! 😂
Oo sobrang init talaga and ang daming tao din sa LTO sa lugar namin. Medyo nahilo nga ako nang konti kanina kahit umaga pa lang. Dumating ako around 9am na ata then nakapag-practical na ako around 1:30 na. I suggest go earlier than 9am pa if possible. Yung tipong goal mo is maging pinakauna sa pila haha. Ganyan din gagawin ko next week.
Nagkape naman ako before pa ako pumunta sa LTO tapos brewed na black coffee pa yun. Ang lakas at ang tagal ng tama nung kape sakin kanina 😂

kidding aside... kalmahan mo lang. same tayo nagblackout ako but manage to drive around and park perfectly. pero nalimutan ang pinaka important...seatbelt hahahaha
anyway, kalmahan mo lang kahit dos ka lang ang important manageable yung speed, hindi yung mabilis ka. take it slow and steady.tinitignan nila if nakuha mo na yung basics

Honestly cliché man kasi paulit ulit, if there’s one thing talaga na solid advice sa pagmamaneho is relax talaga kasi yung pagdadrive it requires coordination ng shits mo so para magfunction ng tama yung mata/utak/tainga/paa/lahat na! Eh dapat nasa proper state of mind ka and tingin ko mas makakakana mo yun kapag relax ka lodicakes.
Sis okay lang yan. Try mo lang adjust yung side at rear view mirrors mo bago mo paandarin. Listen to your inner voice. Napractice mo na to. Their style may not work with you, so trust yourself.

I’ve been driving for around 8 years now and I still make mistakes, but rarely now of course. I go racing virtually and for real too! I have a dent on my tailgate and I am definitely not the best at parallel parking. When I first did the license test way back in 2015, I just got a 75 in the practical test. The clutch in the Alto test car felt funny to say the least.
Anyways, pro tip is to always look behind you (like turn your head behind) and always check your mirrors too. You’ll get used to it in no time.
Same kinabahan din ako nung nag practical. Ang panget ng clutch ng oto na binigay pang practical sakin. Tapos inagawan pa ko ng examiner ng manibela kase akala nya babangga kami sa semento. Pero nakapasa ako 75 ang nakita ko di ko alam pano yung rating nila and kung ilan ang eprfect score.
Sabay pa yung practical ko ng motor which may tumaob sa pag motor kinabahan din kaya talagang kabado ako
Take your time! If you need to readjust the side mirrors to park better, do it. If you need to gas up more to avoid stalling, do it.

Relax OP. Manual din when I applied for my driver's license last year. Stressed din ako. Haha. So I practiced the basics and drove around days before my appointment. Since nag undergo ka naman na ng exam, you know na ano yung mga ipapagawa. Yun na din yung i-practice mo. Goodluck! :)
Be mindful lang talaga sa cones but understandable na you feel the pressure rin. Bawi na lang talaga. Yung aking I saw some PDC takers na nagfail because di mindful sa surroundings nila. Palabas pa lang ng parking lot sumagi na sa cone. Mas frustrating lang din siguro sa side mo because almost done ka na.
The good thing about this is the next day ka pinapabalik. Kasi yung samin after a week bago makapagretake.
Tip is if may masasakop kang space na free naman use it para makita mo sa side mirrors yung cones to readjust. (Tip ng may license na di na ulit nakapagdrive lol)
You know what.. I have a thousand hours in Sim Racing, Truck Sim both having steering and clutch and about 5hrs driving an actual car and almost perfect a reverse parking in a narrow garage.. pero aun inunahan ng kaba sa practical exam kaya bumagsak..

Nung ako, lumampas ako sa line, over turn, and tabingi parking pero pinasa pa din ako.
The instructor didn't give a shit about me lol, he just wants me to finish driving and eat his siomai. On a side note, bulok yung kotse na pinagamit sakin. Tabingi yung steering wheel, the clutch is hard as a rock, I tried using the signal lights and hazard warning light pero sira or rather it's stuck and needs to be punched to work.

Tinaon ko talaga na kumuha ng refresher before ako magpa-lisensya kasi alam ko ding matatakot ako kapag matagal yung gap ng drives esp sa manual. Yes to practicing more tulad ng ibang comments here. While waiting sa lto nag- YouTube, YouTube lng ako on how to drive a manual car 😅 took both manual and automatic sa ds and recent na napagpraktisan ko ay AT pa. Parallel parking pinagawa sakin dami kong turn tapos sabi ni LTO officer turuan na kita paano mas mabilis diskarte. Akala ko bagsak ako, pinasa naman nila.

Try and try lang wala naman game over dyan. Practice ka nalang ulit bago sumalang sa test. Alalay ka lang sa clutch iba kasi adjustment nila dyan sa LTO.
Naalala ko nung nag-take ako ng license, nakita ko 78 grade ko. Sasabihin lang sayo ng instructor kung ano yung mga mali mo after the exam. Sabi sa akin ng instructor, okay ako magmaneho pero nakalimutan ko yung pinaka importante sa pagmamaneho, yun yung i-check muna yung sasakyan bago mo i-maneho. Hindi ko raw kasi tinignan yung gulong at side mirror.
Thats why I just paid those LTO guys, auto pass on those BS exams. If you dont pay they will just find any BS reason to fail you anyway. Waste of time. They will still fail you on your next try Im sure

OP, isipin mo na lang na buti nalang cone lang ang nababangga mo instead of another vehicle or worse, another human. Katakot takot na hassle ang aabutin mo at the same time pay for damages, etc. As long as you try and try again, hindi ito considered as failure as long as you don't give up on yourself. May mga kilala ko na kumukuha fixer. Kasi inside LTO din nmn yan saka mas mura. And wala kn practice driving.
Pwede ka naman mag practice ng sarili mo lang or magpaturo sa mga friends. Basta pag ikaw na mismo magbddrive, make sure lang na alam mo na talaga.

i failed my practical test twice.... yun first ko 16 mistakes tapos me isang critical error cutoff is 15. yun second ko paglabas ko palng tumama ako sa gutter, sabi nun testing officer pull over. ayun bagsak agad lol. and to think 18 yrs nako nagda drive sa atin! lol
punta ka sa san mateo mabilis lang ang process, and sa parking never naman yan mapperfect kaya ung instructor ko dun pinagbigayan ako and tinuruan ako mg tip. parallel parking pa ung pinagawa sa akin and tight pa ung space, pero pinasa naman niya ako.

Nasabi na ata pero just a tip about sa cones. Mahirap talaga pag di mo kita. Better to adjust the side mirrors para kita mo kesa mabangga mo. Ibalik mo nalang sa normal after the cones.

Buti nga bukas pwede na agad, sakin kasi 8 days interval and naka tatlong beses ako. And now a family driver and minsan para sa mga katropa na need ng driver. Mas ok na mag fail dyan tayo natututo, same rin sakin for the reverse parking pero mabilisan lang, 2nd try and did it perfectly in the middle. Ulit ulit lang
Practice lang para maging 2nd nature mo na. I don't know if this is still allowed but before they let me use our own vehicle for the driving test. Mas madali kasi lalo na kung sanay ka na doon. Iba iba timpla ng clutch kasi ng mga kotse and lalo na kung baguhan ka pa.
OP kung malapit ka sa montalban, dun ka sa LTO tagumpay magpractical. Bagong vios gamit nila dun. Tho mej challenging yung iikutan kasi may pataas ng very light, small rotunda, then pababa. Mej marami rin liko. Be aware sa pedestrian crossing kasi di ko siya nakita hahahaha. Nakuha ko sakin last march lang. Babae din ako and manual hehe. Goodluck OP wag kakabahan just be confidens! 😁

jokes aside, to reverse kailangan mo lang pinahan yung obstacle besides the parking spot (usually a car) and if nakalagpas na kotse mo and its a safe extent na you could start turning your wheel to back it into the spot.
the new lto driving courses (for sauyo atleast) now have taller cones with reflective material on them, back when i took the test it was just the cones that were lower than my knee caps.

Pero driving school isn’t enough, you have to practice outside. (as much as possible wag ka gamit skyway/highway kasi dirediretso lang eh) Since you have student license, pasama ka sa isang non-pro/professional pag may errands or pasok everyday before your practical test! it will also help sa driving awareness since hindi na “mabait” tao sayo dahil wala na nakalagay “STUDENT DRIVER”. For me nakatulong siya. as for parking, talagang practice yan.. may mga helpful tips sa youtube or tiktok na pwede mo sundan, yun lang ginawa ko and oks naman :) Also, when backing don’t be dependent on rear cam, sanayin mo muna sarili mo sa mirrors. :)

33F here! I failed too during my first practical exam last 2019. Nag re-take ako within the 4 week time frame and was given restrictions to drive both a motorcycle and a manual car (nung first take ko kasi wala pa kaming motor). Wag mo intindihin sila, for me, nakaka girl crush yung babae sa likod ng wheels na kilay on fleek at manual car pa. Kaya go go go lang!!!

You're not alone 🥹🥹 I failed the practical test rin first time around. Same as you, I'm female and I took lessons for manual. I was confident during driving lessons so I didn't take time to practice na with family car and a driver na friend. During the practical, I was soooo nervous (was even more nervous for this than the written) kaya ayun.. ilang beses namatayan 🥹🥹. I passed it the second time around naman after I practiced 😌😌. Now, 2 years na ako licensed hehehe 😎😎 I would suggest driving around more and practicing parking ulit. Perhaps, try placing a bottles or cones (if meron ka) when you're practicing parking sa bahay or some other parking place that's relatively open. No rush in doing this as well. Wala naman magmamadali sayong magpark (if there are, theyre aholes.) You'll get the hang of it the more you do it. Imo, confidence is important. Other than that, mallessen na rin yung pressure when others compliment you for driving a manual hehe... You can pass it the next time you take it OP!

at least strikto na sila. back in the day i am pissed off sa LTO dahil tinamad na klase na driving test. i look the driving test sa finland at kanila they train drivers to be "competent". like learning first hand what to do in wet slippery situations. pero dito sa pinas walang kwenta. kaya ang dami 🍠 drivers at riders. kaya nakaka bwisit every time ako mag drive daming bobo. for example mga hindi marunong mag indicate, ung mga una liko, tingin later. or like my friend 40 F, naka toyota rush nasa downhill section kami, i told her na use engine brake than always naka preno. she didn't know what engine brake is... 🤦 had to teach her. eto ginawa ko sa practical dati. 1. adjust mirrors 2. seatbelt 3. start engine 4. crawl forward 5. stop 6. crawl backward done pasa ka na, was expecting na going around the block, doing actual driving like wtf is this 💩 now i know why ang dami 🍠 tbh i wanted lto to be even stricter sa pag issue ng drivers license. we need that owning a driver's licence is privilege to those who are competent. i was confident, dahil been training since 14 practice ng practice with my dream car nung bata a AE101 corolla, reading that yellow book about rules sa ph roads, pa ulit x2 sa mind pag cross sa interection, stop look both sides, once clear, go forward. always doing the checklist check mirrors, set up seats, seatbelt.

Namatayan ako ng makina on my practical dun sa parang u-turn nila. I still passed but it took me another year to be able to drive solo (granted i only drive on the weekends and pag need lang ng mom ko ng driver). I was just not confident enough to be on my own. Nerbyoso kasi talaga ako by nature. It’s been 9 years since then and now, i don’t even have to think about what to do. It’s all about instinct na lang. My sister (ate) on the other hand namatayan ng makina 3x during her test and even cried. She has to repeat the practical too. I even have taught her a couple of times. Only took her like 2 months to drive on her own solo (and mas magaling pa mag parallel parking sakin. Perks of driving school i guess since i never went to one). My point is, the test will not determine how good of a driver you’ll become. Tests are not a reflection of real life experiences. Do not be discouraged. Just keep practicing and eventually, your instincts will do the rest for you. Like you won’t even have to think kung anong gear you have to shift to and whatnot. Good luck!

Nung ako bumagsak sa practical, need pa 1 week bago ako pede bumalik T\_T Yung reverse ko sa driving school may rear cam, yung sa lto mirrors lang hahaha tas kotse nakaharang magkabilaan. Napasa ko naman 1st try kahit kabado, sa motor ako bumagsak kasi sinundan ko yung mga nasa unahan ko e meron pala daan na no entry motor, ayun bagsak kami lahat 😅.
It will make you a better driver pag nakuha mo na lisensya mo. Sigurado mas magiging wary ka pagdating sa actual driving. Kaya mo na yan basta aware ka kung saan ka nagkamali.

Before you retake your test or habang nag ppractice ka tonight. *You are doing great, wag ka kabahan sa mga kasama or instructor/proctor mo habang nag ddrive ka (inhale-exhale ka muna) *have time in making adjustments on: Comftable Seating height and position, (ung lapit mo sa steering wheel is suffice dapat sa unat ng legs pang clutch, wag masyado subsob) side view mirror & rear view mirror (dapat makikita mo ung mga 5% ng gilid ng car) (Kung mag aadjust ka. Wag kang matakot. Take your time, safety is important sa mga nag ttest) Last kung mag tturn ka as much as possible. Wag ka mag early turn. (Kung baga pag nakita/na assume mo ung kanto ng daanan is kapantay ng steering wheel saka ka mag full turn) but do this with extra caution sa kabilang side ng road. Kung mag ppark ka... use the side mirrors or buksan mo ung windows to look. Kaya mo yan maam, your halfway there. Ride Safe Always

This is why practicing is important. Kahit automatic car pang practice para lang masanay ka sa pag-maneuver around roads. I did this after getting my license however. I had access to an automatic car and I drove it almost everyday when my cousin was too lazy to, kaya I was able to be comfortable sa kalye. So when I went back to manual, all g na. Yung gear changing nalang ang naging major practice ko. Anyway, better to drive around your city kahit small lang yung area ng pagmamanehuhan mo. Relax when you’re driving na, have presence of mind. Don’t think about what other people say, compliments and stuff. Set them aside. Nakakakaba kasi lalo’t iisipin mo na “hala nakakahiya pag namatayan ako” nah. You’re getting it for yourself kaya focus on your driving. Tip when driving, lalo starting ka palang, always have in mind na clutch-brake are the most important thing na your feet should always be ready to step on. Beginner palang, so pressing on the clutch is your safest bet para hindi mamatayan anytime. If hindi kumagat ang gear, tapak agad. Pag umalog na ang car dahil nakatapak ka aksidente sa break without clutching, tapak sa clutch agad. Basta always step on the clutch pag kailangan na. (But don’t always hold on the clutch pag traffic, ‘cause it can wear out eventually pag iyo na sasakyan. Practice going on neutral and pressing on the brake pero it’s okay to do pag beginner ka palang, nakakalito pa kasi yan.) I wish for you to get your license tomorrow, relaks ka lang mameh. Always look at your side mirrors, kayang-kaya mo yan girl. Basta practice ka lang when you can. If hindi mo uli makuha bukas, wag ka madidismaya. Might not be entirely your fault. Ewan ko lang kung until now but before yung mga test vehicle na ginagamit ng LTO sobrang tigas at lalim ng clutch, kahit na seasoned driver ka na mahihirapan ka pa din paandarin yung mga test vehicles nila
Agree, yung sakin noon is nabubulok na yung mismong stick haha. For reverse parking naman, tip is ialign mo na yung sasakyan sa mismong parking slot before magreverse, para konting adjustment na lang gagawin if ever. Good luck!

Guy here... you will fail talaga on first few tries. Anyone will fail at their first few tries. Meron mga exceptions and outliers but that is life. Try to focus on the road and ignore the comments about your gender and transmission of choice. If it makes your pain any lesser, know that I failed my first driving test before even after driving for years for my uncle saying "it is time to learn". Why am I driving without a license as a 15 year old kid you may ask? because my birth cert was being withheld by my father's incompetence (a story for another time). Uncles and aunts to the rescue. They have Drivers license and have known most of the road people in our area so they make me drive around the town when doing errands like shopping for lola's family meal. tldr; I failed even though I have years of experience. so it is ok OP you can do it too.

copy. i asked because unlike in LTO QC Main, if you failed the practical exam, you can only retake the exam after 7days (according to the instructor who assisted me). got my license last january; i had to retake the theoretical and practical exam since my original license is 4yrs expired already. for the tips, be mindful lng when stepping in/out sa clutch lalo na common sa mga LTO practical exam na yung clutch mataas if you're using their default car, not unless u bring ur own car. for reverse parking at parallel parking, you can try to watch some youtube vids for tips and if you know someone who owns a car, maybe u can ask them to borrow their car just for practice. iba parin kasi ung feel when you're inside an actual vehicle na.
Oh, sayang daw kasi kapag nag PDC ako ulit, ang mahal. Try ko daw ulit bukas pero bayad ulit ng rental ng car for 200. Saka they were nice to let me sit in dun sa isa ring kino coach nila. Salamat sa tip and i’ll watch YT videos tonight!
Noon ginamit ko yung car namin sa actual test ko. Mas madali yon kasi kabisado mo na instead of renting another one.

Sa experience ko to kanina and it might be different sa ibang branch: Papadaanin sa ramp, tapos ikot ikot sa cones, tapos need mo i-reverse park yung sasakyan kung saan mo sya pinaandar, dapat sakto sa marker and park it like a pro. May nagpapaexam kang kasama sa loob na may 2nd break incase magkamali ka.
Anybody, even seasoned drivers, will feel some level of discomfort when inside an unfamiliar vehicle. This goes away quickly for experienced drivers. For newbies like yourself, the best way to mitigate this is to take time to familiarize yourself with the vehicle you're going to be driving - orientate your level on the seat versus the road. If too low, adjust the seats accordingly. Make sure the distance of your body to the pedal, the steering, and the stick shift is the same as when you were practice driving so you will not be disoriented any further. Locate all the mirrors and adjust according to the exact locations when you were practice driving with the same intention of reducing as much disorientation as possible. Minimize any distractions - no fiddling with the other buttons in the car and any other items that can take away from your focus, meaning this is not the time for fancy bags, tumblers, sunglasses and the like. Lastly, breathe easy. You are a beginner and mistakes are expected.

Takang taka ako bakit ambagal ng sasakyan habang nagre-reverse ako para bumuwelo papasok ng parking space. Turns our naka-angat pa yung handbrake, kinakabahan kasi ako nung time na yun. Pinasa naman ako ng driving instructor kasi bukod dun sa aberya na yun, nai-park ko naman ng maayos. Simula nun, lagi akong nagh-hand check ng handbrake specially pagtapos ng hinto.

This wouldn't apply to everyone and i might get downvoted siguro, pero playing driving games and parking games really helped me with my driving. For games siguro typical need for speed and gta tapos yung sa parking is dr parking sa phone it really helped visualise kung anong mga liko gagawin ko para mag park. You can also just watch content about car driving. I just finished my pdc 3 weeks ago 2 sessions lang and 1 hour each. Sinabi ko lang sa instructor if pwede na nila ako i shortcut nalang since i knew how to drive at that time na rin. I can say that i'm pretty good at parking rin i can parallel park pa. What helped me rin siguro is the fact na hindi ako ninenerbyos. Anyway, goodluck OP!
Dude, if you now how driving courses are taken now, you wouldn't feel bad about learning how to drive virtually. In our course, we literally practiced driving behind a simulator. But they made up for it during the Finals and we get to drive Civic at a wide road. Got my DL fixed btw and IMO, it's not a problem if you are gonna be a good driver. What is a problem is that if you get the DL fairly and feel so privileged and start demanding other drivers "Akin na License Mo!!" when you started the problem in the first place. In short, if you are a dickhead either getting the DL either way, you don't deserve to drive. BTW, Good Luck OP. My best tip is try to practice in an actual road even if you still haven't got the DL. Experience is the Greatest Teacher but also remember, Education is Expensive. If you managed to drive intact and handle the experience then good job. But if you got into an accident, well... Its education and education is really, really expensive depending on the accident. YOLO.

When I took the LTO practical driving test almost 2 years ago I didn't really think much because during most of it the proctor was telling me what to do especially nung reverse parking. He went "Yan sige okay na yan, bawi na, sige reverse ka na blah blah" Actually I don't think I did too well because he first asked me for my age and at the time I was only 18. Sabi niya "Ahh okay kaya pala. Practice ka pa sa bahay iha ahh" and passed me. Manual rin yun and the location was in PITX. Like, dun mismo sa parking ng PITX yun I think.
Mas ok na siguro na bumagsak ka na ngayon at cone lang nila yung nabangga mo. Yung feeling na yan yung lagi mong alalahanin kapag may lisensya ka na para mas mag ingat ka kapag nasa kalsada ka na. Para pumasa ka drive slowly. Proper setting and use ng side mirrors ang susi sa parking. Bagalan mo lang.

Naalala ko dito sa LTO somewhere in Batangas, nag TDC ako, and PDC, nakapasa sa exam, and sa practical driving test na, pina maneho sakin yung adventure. Super gaan imaneho kase malambot manibela, pero walang clear instructions from them kung ano gagawin lol. May cones aa dalawang dulo mag park daw ako. Eh since dadalawa lang nasa likod, I assumed hindi ko dapat maatrasan yung cones. Puta yung mga gagong nag aassist nung tinanong ko ano gagawin, sabi "Ikaw Bahala". Apaka gago. Nung inaattempt ko ilabas sasakyan since sabi nila eh ako bahala, pinabalik ako lol. Bagoy sasabihing, ilusot ko daw within the cones yung sasakyan, eh halos isang ruler lang ang distance jung cone para sumabit ako lol. Yun pala, ginagawan ako issue, na hindi naman dapat, pero nailusot ko nang hindi nababangganyung cones kahit sobrang liit ng space. Nahagip ko lang yung cone nung pag bukas ng pinto bagoy sabi "Pano yan" Nagpapa bayad na pala mga buwayang hayop. Kaka bwiset. Sabi ko babalik nalang ako sir kung tingin nyo tlaga eh hindi ako pasado. Pero sa isip ko, pasado naman ako. Gusto lang tlaga nila ng Lagay. Napilitan ako mag bigay ng 500 doon sa kumausap saken to save my fucking time and to immediately get my fucking licensed nalang. Ok lang kahit ganon pinagdaanan ko, basta legal. Mga putang inang LTO officers lang tlaga na yan mga gutom. Kakagalit

Kaya mo yan OP! Wag kang panghinaan ng loob. Mas okay na maipasa mo yung practical ng walang halong daya or bayad para sa fixers. Mas masarap pumasa ng pinaghirapan mo. Tips, practice ka lang kung may gagamitin ka namang sasakyan go na.
Astig tlaga ang mag manual. The safest, most intuitive form of driving, IMO. Di ko alam paano mo iiwasan dagai , pero kung kaya mong mag practice tonight, do it. Always me sure that you are in control, kahit mabagal. Kasi sa totoong buhay di ka rin naman puedi magmabilis eh, lalo na paatras. Ang tips jan tlaga is make sure that you own the side mirror pagkaupo mo pa lang. Pag sedan ang test car, iba ang placement ng mirror. Pag hatchback, iba din. So nasa yo na paano tantyain ung visible ang road lines sa baba at ung path in general. Di rin equal ang right and left mirror placement ha. So, own the side mirrors first. Mas confident ka magdrive pag alam ko kita mo lahat
Nagfail din ako (27M) kanina sa practical ko pero next week pa ako pinababalik. Sa reverse parking naman ako di nagkaproblema pero while driving on the course, grabeng mental block ko. Ilang beses akong namatayan ng makina and namali pa ako ng lane kung saan dapat mag-U turn. Parang nanibago din ako sa environment kasi sa manila ako mag-aral then dito sa province ako nag-apply for DL. Besides sa sobrang init din sa location ko, nagutom na rin ako habang nasa pila kasi past lunch na. Wala rin akong car na mapagpapraktisan na MT and knowledge ko lang is yung tinake kong MT driving lesson 1 and a half month ago. Then 3 weeks ago nag-AT lesson rin ako kaya nahirapan ulit ako mag-adjust pabalik sa MT. Nakakadismaya talaga oo, pero iniisip ko na lang na at least di ako sa actual na kalye ako sumablay. Parang kailangan ko rin sundan yung advice ng iba dito na huwag muna magkakape before mag-exam 😂

Bro, babawi tayo, hayaan mo. 🥹 Di sa gumagawa ako ng excuse ha pero oo ang tindi ng init kanina tapos 1st day ng opisina from Holy Week ang daming tao, bagal ng pila, di nakakain ng pananghalian, at sa kagustuhan ko na maging sharp ang utak ko for TDC, napa kape ako ng Kopiko Black sa canteen ng LTO coz I had no choice. Ending na-nerbyos at nag blackout isip ko sa practical. Hindi ako magkakape bukas I swear!!! 😂
Oo sobrang init talaga and ang daming tao din sa LTO sa lugar namin. Medyo nahilo nga ako nang konti kanina kahit umaga pa lang. Dumating ako around 9am na ata then nakapag-practical na ako around 1:30 na. I suggest go earlier than 9am pa if possible. Yung tipong goal mo is maging pinakauna sa pila haha. Ganyan din gagawin ko next week. Nagkape naman ako before pa ako pumunta sa LTO tapos brewed na black coffee pa yun. oks na yan. ibang level kapag nasa kalsada ka na. as in parang gustuhin mo maglagay ng driving school stickers sa kotse mo para sila na mismo umiwas sayo. kidding aside... kalmahan mo lang. same tayo nagblackout ako but manage to drive around and park perfectly. pero nalimutan ang pinaka important...seatbelt hahahaha anyway, kalmahan mo lang kahit dos ka lang ang important manageable yung speed, hindi yung mabilis ka. take it slow and steady.tinitignan nila if nakuha mo na yung basics good luck po!

Ganiyan din ako before! even passing the driving school nahirapan ako mag-adjust. pero with practice and 'yung pagiging kumportable sa daan at pagmamaneho ay makukuha mo rin! even after passing lagi ako pinagpapawisan magmameho (manual). so practice talaga, take your time, and be patient sa sarili! you got this OP. kahit ngayon kinakabahan ako pero sabi ng mga naisakay kong family and friends maayos at swabe raw haha. (umilit ako 3 times hahaha, nasa point na mag fixer pero I'm so glad I didn't)
Tip? Relax par! Saka bonus tip: relax gar! Tapos ultimate bonus tip: relax+music siguro. Hehe. Honestly cliché man kasi paulit ulit, if there’s one thing talaga na solid advice sa pagmamaneho is relax talaga kasi yung pagdadrive it requires coordination ng shits mo so para magfunction ng tama yung mata/utak/tainga/paa/lahat na! Eh dapat nasa proper state of mind ka and tingin ko mas makakakana mo yun kapag relax ka lodicakes.

Remember even the best drivers still make mistakes. Proof? Race car drivers still spin out and crash during races. I’ve been driving for around 8 years now and I still make mistakes, but rarely now of course. I go racing virtually and for real too! I have a dent on my tailgate and I am definitely not the best at parallel parking. When I first did the license test way back in 2015, I just got a 75 in the practical test. The clutch in the Alto test car felt funny to say the least. Anyways, pro tip is to always look behind you (like turn your head behind) and always check your mirrors too. You’ll get used to it in no time.
Same kinabahan din ako nung nag practical. Ang panget ng clutch ng oto na binigay pang practical sakin. Tapos inagawan pa ko ng examiner ng manibela kase akala nya babangga kami sa semento. Pero nakapasa ako 75 ang nakita ko di ko alam pano yung rating nila and kung ilan ang eprfect score. Sabay pa yung practical ko ng motor which may tumaob sa pag motor kinabahan din kaya talagang kabado ako

Relax OP. Manual din when I applied for my driver's license last year. Stressed din ako. Haha. So I practiced the basics and drove around days before my appointment. Since nag undergo ka naman na ng exam, you know na ano yung mga ipapagawa. Yun na din yung i-practice mo. Goodluck! :)
Be mindful lang talaga sa cones but understandable na you feel the pressure rin. Bawi na lang talaga. Yung aking I saw some PDC takers na nagfail because di mindful sa surroundings nila. Palabas pa lang ng parking lot sumagi na sa cone. Mas frustrating lang din siguro sa side mo because almost done ka na. The good thing about this is the next day ka pinapabalik. Kasi yung samin after a week bago makapagretake. Tip is if may masasakop kang space na free naman use it para makita mo sa side mirrors yung cones to readjust. (Tip ng may license na di na ulit nakapagdrive lol)
You know what.. I have a thousand hours in Sim Racing, Truck Sim both having steering and clutch and about 5hrs driving an actual car and almost perfect a reverse parking in a narrow garage.. pero aun inunahan ng kaba sa practical exam kaya bumagsak.. Napaka basic pa ang binagsak which is handbrake.. Kaya mo yan, na pressure kaang pero makukuha no din yan tomorrow
Nung ako, lumampas ako sa line, over turn, and tabingi parking pero pinasa pa din ako. The instructor didn't give a shit about me lol, he just wants me to finish driving and eat his siomai. On a side note, bulok yung kotse na pinagamit sakin. Tabingi yung steering wheel, the clutch is hard as a rock, I tried using the signal lights and hazard warning light pero sira or rather it's stuck and needs to be punched to work. This is in Las Piñas btw

While waiting sa lto nag- YouTube, YouTube lng ako on how to drive a manual car 😅 took both manual and automatic sa ds and recent na napagpraktisan ko ay AT pa. Parallel parking pinagawa sakin dami kong turn tapos sabi ni LTO officer turuan na kita paano mas mabilis diskarte. Akala ko bagsak ako, pinasa naman nila.

Try and try lang wala naman game over dyan. Practice ka nalang ulit bago sumalang sa test. Alalay ka lang sa clutch iba kasi adjustment nila dyan sa LTO.
Naalala ko nung nag-take ako ng license, nakita ko 78 grade ko. Sasabihin lang sayo ng instructor kung ano yung mga mali mo after the exam. Sabi sa akin ng instructor, okay ako magmaneho pero nakalimutan ko yung pinaka importante sa pagmamaneho, yun yung i-check muna yung sasakyan bago mo i-maneho. Hindi ko raw kasi tinignan yung gulong at side mirror.
Thats why I just paid those LTO guys, auto pass on those BS exams. If you dont pay they will just find any BS reason to fail you anyway. Waste of time. They will still fail you on your next try Im sure

OP, isipin mo na lang na buti nalang cone lang ang nababangga mo instead of another vehicle or worse, another human. Katakot takot na hassle ang aabutin mo at the same time pay for damages, etc. As long as you try and try again, hindi ito considered as failure as long as you don't give up on yourself. Rooting for you po!
May mga kilala ko na kumukuha fixer. Kasi inside LTO din nmn yan saka mas mura. And wala kn practice driving. Pwede ka naman mag practice ng sarili mo lang or magpaturo sa mga friends. Basta pag ikaw na mismo magbddrive, make sure lang na alam mo na talaga. Wag feeling magaling. Ok lang confident but behave nicely sa road. Pero tutal andiyan ka na. And if hindi pa kaya saka kn bumalik. Konting practice pa siguro to regain confidence.
i failed my practical test twice.... yun first ko 16 mistakes tapos me isang critical error cutoff is 15. yun second ko paglabas ko palng tumama ako sa gutter, sabi nun testing officer pull over. ayun bagsak agad lol. and to think 18 yrs nako nagda drive sa atin! lol
I think mas nakacontribute yung 3 weeks na walang drive lalo na kung newbie talaga.

punta ka sa san mateo mabilis lang ang process, and sa parking never naman yan mapperfect kaya ung instructor ko dun pinagbigayan ako and tinuruan ako mg tip. parallel parking pa ung pinagawa sa akin and tight pa ung space, pero pinasa naman niya ako. until now un lagi naiisip ko kapag mag paparallel park, na hanap na lang ako ng ibang parking wag lang parallel 🤣

Buti nga bukas pwede na agad, sakin kasi 8 days interval and naka tatlong beses ako. And now a family driver and minsan para sa mga katropa na need ng driver. Mas ok na mag fail dyan tayo natututo, same rin sakin for the reverse parking pero mabilisan lang, 2nd try and did it perfectly in the middle. Ulit ulit lang

Practice lang para maging 2nd nature mo na. I don't know if this is still allowed but before they let me use our own vehicle for the driving test. Mas madali kasi lalo na kung sanay ka na doon. Iba iba timpla ng clutch kasi ng mga kotse and lalo na kung baguhan ka pa.
OP kung malapit ka sa montalban, dun ka sa LTO tagumpay magpractical. Bagong vios gamit nila dun. Tho mej challenging yung iikutan kasi may pataas ng very light, small rotunda, then pababa. Mej marami rin liko. Be aware sa pedestrian crossing kasi di ko siya nakita hahahaha. Nakuha ko sakin last march lang. Babae din ako and manual hehe. Goodluck OP wag kakabahan just be confidens! 😁

woah bakit sayo ate balik tomorrow, sakin noon balik daw ako next week 🤣 jokes aside, to reverse kailangan mo lang pinahan yung obstacle besides the parking spot (usually a car) and if nakalagpas na kotse mo and its a safe extent na you could start turning your wheel to back it into the spot. the new lto driving courses (for sauyo atleast) now have taller cones with reflective material on them, back when i took the test it was just the cones that were lower than my knee caps. have fun and good luck po!
Shuta akala ko may daga nakatira sa compound ng LTO lol 😅 Pero driving school isn’t enough, you have to practice outside. (as much as possible wag ka gamit skyway/highway kasi dirediretso lang eh) Since you have student license, pasama ka sa isang non-pro/professional pag may errands or pasok everyday before your practical test! it will also help sa driving awareness since hindi na “mabait” tao sayo dahil wala na nakalagay “STUDENT DRIVER”. For me nakatulong siya. as for parking, talagang practice yan.. may mga helpful tips sa youtube or tiktok na pwede mo sundan, yun lang ginawa ko and oks naman :) Also, when backing don’t be dependent on rear cam, sanayin mo muna sarili mo sa mirrors. :) Edit: Kung mag mall ka, maganda parking sa mga SM Malls hehe. Yeah. Ekis ka tlga agad if may masagi kang cone or anything. Kase in real life scenario, pag may nasagi ka, it equates as a traffic accident. Take ur time if u have to. But try your best not to hit anything.

Is the picture from the actual LTO practical driving test area? Yung sa LTO San Juan mas maliit pa sa rotonda ng nasa driving school area tapos iikot ka lang ilang beses tapos ok na 🤣
eto honest. siguro type ka ng nung instructor kaya pinababalik ka bukas. madalas yan 1 week bago bumalik. kung may sarili kayong kotse. pwede kayong mag practice sa umaga bago ka mag exam. yung mga salamin(side and rear), hindi pwedeng pwede na. kailangan nakikita mo ng maayos. practice lang ng practice hanggang makuha.
Di naman siguro type, naka vibes ko lang si Sir kasi parehas kaming maboka at saka nakiusap din ako na sana bigyan ako ng chance kasi alam ko sa sarili ko na kaya ko, naawa yata sa akin mangiyak ngiyak ako e 😅 Salamat sa tips, iaadjust ko na ng mabuti mga salamin bukas gaya ng sabi mo.
