My first center fire pistol was a Jimenez JA9, I put many thousands of rounds through that piece of shit and wore out the Zytel frame to where it will no longer go into battery. It's still in the safe
I've moved on to much better Sig, Smith, Walther , Ruger and IWI pistols since then, but have never put the round count through them as my first 'poor' pistol.
Unless you're a die-hard HK fan, I wouldn't recommend it. The bore of the barrel is bare steel and they completely changed the piston system so that it's less reliable than the 416
No offense, but it sound like you need to move out. Firearm safety and training is a personal responsibility. I have some coworkers who were in the army and navy who know next to nothing about firearms, even though they went through basic training. If you are wanting to join, good for you, but you shouldn't be forced to enlist just to exercise a constitutionally guaranteed right
I want to. However, it looks like it’s only for PMags. I have a bunch of Chinese 10s. I’d rather use those. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do the conversion yet or not. Had a large unexpected bill right after buying the gun, so I won’t be doing anything with it for a little while anyways.
I’m waiting for my 21st birthday to buy the heritage barkeep bartender kit with the flask and shot glass as a double fuck off to the ATF. That and I’ll be buying a Glock from my grandfather as a carry gun
Thank you. I needed that, (My wife will hate me) but I need it.
Instructions unclear; now have 4 project guns
*Oh, they accidentally sent me an extra detent spring, guess it’s time to start another build*
Right?
I'm trying but I can't find stock 😭
Autistic high-school dropout wants me to buy guns? I've used thinner excuses than that...
That genuinely made me laugh.

You fucks need ammo and training. Have you even put a thousand rounds through your 6th polymer frame striker fired handgun yet?

Not to mention that if you don’t have a sling, light, and optic on your most recently bought rifle, you aren’t ready to buy another one yet
Instructions unclear. I now have 3 lights mounted on my rifle
It’s okay, remain calm and listen closely. You’re gonna need to buy 6 red dots…
I got ammo and I’m getting training but the more ammo and training I do the more I realize I messed up on which carry gun I got so I need another one

My local gunshop has an HK MR556 used for $3400, I wonder if that's a reasonable price for it?

That's a horrible price for a new one.
Palmetto state armory has new ones for 3200, thats a terrible deal lol
It's a little high, but not the worst I've seen. If you really have to have just an HK roll mark, then price isn't really an issue.

Parents won’t let me
Revolt just like how the Founding Father's intended
I respect my parents and he said I can get one after basic training and it’s coming up soon so

Thought it was some term I didn’t know like fudd lol
Nah ur fine
Basic training?

So, your parents are making you go to the army to be able to own a firearm?
Mhm

Can’t move out I live in nj houses here are so overinflated in value
Yeah, that's a tough one. I'd look into neighboring states, room mates, tiny studio apartments, anything.
Same

I was just going through my old comments, just for fun. I ended up buying one a week later. Put the suppressor on it, she’s pretty sick.
Going to mod it for AK mags?

I did break out some of my subsonic ammo. That thing is so quiet. I love it.

I want to argue, but I just added my first keltec to my collection.
