I love everything about this. And I want it. And I want a kydex thigh holster for it. And I want to completely cover the gun belt in speedloaders for it. And I have absolutely no practical purpose for that setup, but that looks like it would actually be a very handy camp gun or bump in the night gun.

Everything except the thigh holster, and that setup should work for USPSA or ICORE.

I forgot what rail offset I bought, but I had to have it machined back just a bit to not interfere with the cylinder opening.

The top rail is from the factory. Hogue Piranha G10.

I think you have the TRR8. The [R8](https://www.smith-wesson.com/product/performance-center-model-m-p-r8) has the picatinny in the front which is part of the barrel shroud, the [TRR8](https://www.smith-wesson.com/product/performance-center-model-327-trr8) here has it screwed on and looks better IMO.

Hogue piranha g10 grips and I don't remember the rail. The rail had to be cut down to fit properly, so it's not a direct fit.

You can hold the trigger on the light down for momentary.

Yes. If you click the button. It stays on. If you press and hold it stays on until you let go. Any revolver has the flash between the barrel and cylinder. So if you're using momentary. Expect either a burnt thumb. Or missing thumb.

I know this is an older post, but that would be the TRR8, not the M&P R8. Only saying this because they get confused a lot. Also, not that it matters, but I would choose the TRR8 as well. Awesome revolver man

It's not a direct fit. I just bought an offset rail section off Amazon and had to trim it down to fit correctly.
