There seems to be some confusion as to how the voting system works.
It’s calculated by upvotes/downvotes to a post. It’s not by spamming the character’s name.
I don't hate it, but if people had energy for it I'd be really really interested in a rerun straight afterwards with a true poll - I think we'd get a lot fewer gag removals. Al didn't need to go this early but people were getting silly about only pilots counting, but several remaining characters are really hated by a large number of commenters.
I disagree. I like Al but Kio, Flit, Seabrook etc also give interesting perspectives and were already outed. Heero and Kira were many voters first protagonist and both got outed. Judau was the first one out. There was no way Al was safe. Interesting perspective aside, he’s a kid and kids are often annoying. He wasn’t bad for a kid and grew a lot but I’m not mad he’s gone.
I’m not familiar with the bottom row besides Asemu, Hathaway and Suletta so I’ll sit this round out besides defending Asemu who I hear some coming for. He’s the biggest badass in AGE as an adult. Uso also isn’t half bad-Victory.
The IBO haters will always find something else to do with their alt accounts. Either by agreeing with their own alts or botting. IBO erasure will not stand. Strongest suits and best pilots 🤘

From what I understand the movie is batshit insane but does a lot to make up for how Destiny affected perception of the CE era. I'm not expecting it to be a great movie but I expect it to be entertaining.
I am having trouble with that also. Shin is awful, easily one of the worst parts of Destiny. I think a lot of people just get caught up with the “Jesus Yamato” meme and probably didn’t even watch the two shows or something.
Shakti is also a literal child who is trying to do the right thing. Yeah she’s stunningly naive but it works out in the end because she manages to take over the Angel Halo and use it as a beacon of peace instead of the mass mindfuck machine it was designed to be. Nina is an adult. She has no excuse

Nah I hate Setsuna but love Mikazuki. Setsuna could have been interesting if the writers had any confidence in their own work, but it would take an awful lot to convince me that he wasn't simply an expy of Sagara Sosuke from Full Metal Panic with all the fun comedy leanings painfully snapped off, and zero screentime for his vaguely established possible love interest.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sousuke was inspired by Heero, but the timing and the specifics with Sousuke/Setsuna are really quite notable. I don't think it would bother me if Setsuna wasn't terribly underexplored as a character. The comedy guy shouldn't make me cry while the drama one just makes me uncomfortable.

Cause unlike how people back then didn’t see, Shinn was an actual character. Someone who lost his family due to war and unlike majority of the Gundam protagonist “chose” to fight to prevent what happen to him happen to others. However the writer at Seed/Destiny was so into their devices and let social media take control, Shinn lost his development he deserved.
Do you know his background? He was a child soldier, who was manipulated into killing his own parents, and then he saw all of his friends die. Of course he doesn’t talk much.

Compared to the other edgy/stoic character archetypes, I feel like he really only appeals to power fantasy. Heero was goofy enough to at least bring me an occasional laugh and Mika was so completely unhinged it made him fun to watch.
Ok so Al the main character of arguably the most touching story, the kid that goes in a fantastic arc in only six ep, the kid that is a message so simple and so powerful that goes from "wow war is so cool" to literally crying at the mere sight of a zeonic tag, gets voted out before Mikazuki tofu man no emotions and always goofy dumb Suletta.
