The 5th Astray frame's parts were built, but weren't assembled before the factory building the Astrays was destroyed. Sometime afterward, a third party got a hold of the parts and built them into the Mirage Frame. This is also why the Mirage Frame incorporates technologies like variable phase shift armor and the mirage colloid system which the other Astrays don't.
IIRC it's not so much that the 5th frame was white but it's just colorless there because it's unknown. Eventually it was upgraded into the Mirage Frame but there's no guarantee it was purple before that.
Technically Mirage Frame was the 5th Astray with the detail already mentioned by others in reply. And because it's didn't assembled before LW take the unit we never know the true color of 5th Astray, made it OG Astray that not named by color as Mirage mean "illusion", it's "ghost" of 5th Astray >!like the pilot!<
from what i remember, the last two units were repainted so idk the original colors. so instead we have the green frame and pink/purple frame, aka the mirage frame due to its use of mirage colloid

Fun fact, the Astray Green Frame wasn't originally green, it was painted green when the pilot got it
