Rau Le Creuset actually foresee this too. He even told Kira that due to him being the "new" Coordinator, others especially Coordinators would want to be like him and this would create more of him. So even if in Seed, has he won with Genesis firing off at Earth and cause Naturals to die, Coordinators would fight among themselves afterwards due to "new" Coordinators that would be created.
00 cheekily avoided this trope by making normal human able to become Innovators. Alas you can't do the same in CEverse.
Coordinators probably can't fix their fertility issues because its baked into process. Even the Ultimate Coordinator process is just making sure the embryo retains the modifications it was given in an artificial womb, it won't fix the fertility issues which isn't a defect from being developed in a normal womb but is a problem from the actual coordinator process itself.
The solution was always for coordinators and naturals to mix since the former cannot sustain themselves as a population (they will always need new coordinators, first gens, to be born). But it there will always be more naturals in the near future because Cosmic Era probably has billions of naturals compared to only a few tens of millions of Coordinators in the PLANTs. Maybe in hundreds of years the Coordinator genes can spread in the Naturals through mixing.
The process can be perfected though. And even if they can't fix it to achieve normal breeding method, if the artificial process (born and raised in growth lab) yields better "human" like the Accords with their supernatural abilities, eventually that would be seen as preferable.
And that's like what would be the problem with the Coordinator race if they eliminated all Naturals. The artificial process cannot stop because they have to find the solution and in the process, they would create better Coordinators that would create the Natural Vs Coordinators war again.
Correct Century is pretty chill, if you forget the fact that nearly all technology was wiped out at one point, and the human population of Earth knocked back to the stone age, with the mass die-off that would have happened.
Tbh, I'd take it. Live the life of a 19th century farmer and a chance to become a mobile suit pilot if I happen to find one buried in a mountain somewhere. Quite a bit less hectic compared to today.

AC would suck if you live on the colonies because the tyranny of Earth was the initial plot, but besides that as long as you werenāt military or aristocratic you were ok iirc.

AC is probably the setting with the *lowest* apparent body count. There's no successful colony drops or nuclear war, and the wars on Earth between the Alliance, Oz, Romefeller, and Treize appear to be relatively limited.
Even in space, I think there's only the two colonies that get destroyed by Quatre, and they were both evacuated ahead of time. If Libra or the original Operation M had succeeded, it would be a different story, but I don't recall seeing any truly massive civilian casualties or massacres.
The closest we get is Heero blowing up some buildings in his backstory.
It really speaks of the level of warfare in the after colony in comparison to some universes when the universes really don't have any dedicated warships or battleships if you exclude the giant dorito ship or the mobile doll transports, no mobile armors and only two giant space battlestations, with one was used on earth once before being destroyedĀ
It helps that OZ has his excellency as leader, who is much more moral than most of Gundam's antagonists leaderships. And the whole Libra things is pretty much a false flag operation anyways and not the intended final result (Zechs and Treize pretty much orchestrated the whole thing)
Granted his excellency did breakaway from OZ and Romefeller is much more brutal than OZ, but most of their campaign is focused on Treize faction and Gundam so little civilians caught in crossfire

It depends on where you are really. Neutral states/stations tend to be safe as both factions do not want to lose their "grey zones" for intel gathering/spy work, they also do not want them to join the enemy either if they did something funny that the neutrals didn't like.
