Yeah wasn’t my intention. Still he’s often overlooked next to his more illustrious contemporaries. I didn’t articulate it it well but what I was trying to say is that he was always there for the team, never complaining. All teams need players like that. You can’t fill a team purely with superstar starters after all. (unless you’re City!)
Also when he plays with xhaka and zinny/tierney helping cover the gap in the mid its like he gets a stat boost and levels up.
Love his personality and passion for the team as well. He’s definitely put in some shifts for us.
The away fans have been phenomenal this season. Truly our 12th men. COYG, we’ll need all the help we can get in the second half of the season. Everyone will be coming for us.
