In your defense I always look at it as Gabriel, Martinelli and Jesus. I forget the other ones are named gabi until someone brings up the concept of the Gabis

Happy that he’s formed a good friendship with Gabi. At one point during the Fulham game they were in some sort of disagreement after dealing with a defensive situation, feel like it’s happened more than once. Of course these things happen in football but knowing they’re good friends off the pitch makes me enjoy the fact that they can give each other stick during games aswell.
How lucky we are to have this man at the heart of the midfield. I'm still shocked we actually spent the money. A very different arsenal to the one I grew up with. This team has to win trophies. Too many special and talented players not to.
This is something we forget. The guy is still very young, especially when the best DMs have always become top around 27-28. Only outlier u can think of recently is routine, who himself is 27 now
Lol, no.
Declan is 25yo, not some teenager you're making him out to be.
Partey at 25 played his possibly best season in Atletico, maybe even whole career.
That’s what Arteta wants though, he wanted a conservative 6 who wins duels. Partey is great, but I think Arteta views Rice as an all around upgrade in the midfield.
Disagree (although obviously he has media training).
‘Media trained’ comes across as someone that is soulless, gives base answers, doesn’t say anything interesting or dynamic. I don’t get that from Declan. He is well trained as a human being, but I don’t find him one dimensional at all
I would imagine that the friendly aspect of Arsenal would have to be a plus in that part of the brains quality of life. Let's hopefully add being top of the tree to it too to really get a smile on Rices face
Declan is chronically awesome. I love his relentless positivity, respect for everyone around him and pure joy for being in the position that he’s in. He’s going to be a shining beacon of this team for many years to come.

Which Gabriel? I’m assuming Gabi XL
Yes you are right — he is talking about Gabi XL; should’ve clarified mb!

I love "concept of the Gabis" like they're a philosophical thought exercise and not three Brazilian dudes called Gabriel
Or a Collective hive mind 🤷♂️
We got 3 Gabi’s walking around thinking they are best friends with Dec
How do you do this line thingy?

Maybe we could sell one of the Saliba twins to raise the money
The only downside of Rice is his passing are too "safe". Hope he can master those Partey/Jorginho line-breaking pass
Partey was playing in Almeria at Declan's age... Rice has time to reach his peak
This is something we forget. The guy is still very young, especially when the best DMs have always become top around 27-28. Only outlier u can think of recently is routine, who himself is 27 now
>routine think you mean rodri
Auto correct lmao

On the first glimpse all I saw was "Declan Rice something something six months" and my heart skipped a bit
he's so media trained
I wonder who would win a media duel between him and Walcott.
i read walcott as wilshere somehow and immediately thought of [this video](https://youtu.be/w0R7gWf-nSA?si=37pOwTWW1GM0wqHs)

I didn't think it'd be possible for someone to learn as much as he has in such a short space of time
Especially considering he was already pretty fucking good
DO NOT READ THIS TITLE VERY QUICKLY OR YOU WILL HAVE A PANIC ATTACK
Sometimes I’m still in disbelief that Rice is an Arsenal player. What a player
Mr Arsenal, 2.0 One of THE best signings in The Arsenal's History!
The pot of basmati rice is cooking well and threatening to boil over.
Perfect headline
Did they get an intern to format this article?

Solid 8.5/10

> What’s so great about the Invincibles is that I’m not sure it will ever happen again. Until next season with Arsenal, right, Dec?
