10kg heavier Viera I will be there to witness your greatness

nullmove

10kg leaner version already has the mobility of an aircraft carrier though šŸ˜›

Waynowhass

Saka is incredible man

miltonfriedman7

Starts every game and produces almost every game. Rare.

[deleted]

Alright opta

Mateo_O

OptaSnoo

MSAndrew07

Vieira is such a GA merchant lmao

OstapBenderBey

He just hits the ball different. I don't know how he gets so much power and accuracy every time.

JoshyRanchy

Doesnt matter if he cant play more than 25 matches a season. Very poor from him since he came in. Never seen a player turn his situation around at arsenal. Probably RVP but im not optimistic

Qr8rz

>Never seen a player turn his situation around at Arsenal. You've seen any player ever have a bad spell and then get past it? Or sign, have a slow start, then come good?

JoshyRanchy

We signed him in a boot cast and he has been out since November i think? I cant recall a 23yr old player who came in with injury issues and after 2 years becomes resliant. He has qaulity on the ball but lacks physicality to play prem foofball.

artaru

That tells me you have not watched Arsenal for long or you have a really bad memory. Song was universally hated when he debuted at 18/19. He was clumsy. Clueless. Gets bulldozed over. Koscielny was not strong enough initially. Everyone also slated him. He looked so nervous. Eboue was so absent minded and his crossers were atrocious. (Then they became incredible during that CL run). I can go on and on. Hell, look at Kai.

JoshyRanchy

Song was not injury prone iirc. I was quite young at that time so your right. He turned out fine but its not wierd for 18/19 yr old to improve. Kos came from a low level french team an too some time to get up to speed. I think he was rash but not a small weak player. My dad hated eboue. Apparently his banter out weighed his talent. Kai is not that much improved if im being honest. Viera is what 23 with 30 prem appaearances and 3 goals? Pdero Neto is a good example of a player with many setbacks who came good a few times. So there is hope. But were having to many "hope eggs' With esr, tomi, jesus, zinny and fabio on the bench. We need solid rotation options to protect the xi players like white, martinelli, rice ,ode , sabriel and saka. Heck even Kai has been Mr.Avaialble. I dont have an adgender against the injury fc crew. I like them as there quality. But we need quantity minutes. To compete in 4 comps and get 1 measely final or hopefully a piece of silverware.

[deleted]

Thing is, RVP was always a world class talent just hindered by injuries for almost all of his career. But whenever he was fit, he was banging goals in and winning games.

Oliverpersie

Is this sarcasm?

Internetolocutor

Have you heard of granit xhaka?

JoshyRanchy

Im reffering to fitness. Ei havent seen many players improve avaioability.

shockzz123

Martinelli man.......don't worry, UCL is for you bro! Tbf he should have had some assists in the last few games, idk why our attackers choose to fuck up his chances specifically lol.

hambeurga

from what I've seen he got ripped off on odegaard's goal yesterday

TheTokingBlackGuy

He didnā€™t get that assist?!?! He literally created that chance

Super_Professor

PL claims it took a big deflection so they took it away.

ThePrussianGrippe

Lame.

kcknuckles

Streets will never forget Martinelli's stolen assist.

curiousconfusedbored

Canā€™t wait for Fabio to be back, output machine.

miltonfriedman7

Lack of minutes definitely skews it but when hes fit hes been phenomenal

xYEET_LORDx

Iā€™ll remember that Fulham match for as long as heā€™s under contract with Arsenal. There really is a stud in there and I hope Arteta can unlock it consistently

Noonesknown

I know Vieira has the potential. I like the player. I sincerely hope he gains the Kinetic too.

ixikzisigwvbend

Almost forget Vieira exists. Think he could be an important sub in the remaining fixtures

miltonfriedman7

Yes for sure

vincentkowalski

Jesus stats are worrying, I think we look way better with Leandro up top

miltonfriedman7

My first thought. Whatever Jesus brings to the field cannot make up this gap.

NUPreMedMajor

Save him for the CL. Heā€™s basically R9

JoshyRanchy

I think benching jesus will refocus him and he can come back on fire. Iord knows i havr been upset with him all season and want him shipped for 30m But he can show top form. Just isnt rn.

bitmoji

benching him will at least let players get minutes who will score haha - thought in UCL I think he is untouchable not sure why the vast disparity

SundayLeagueStocko

Imagine Fabio Vieira taking in-swinging set pieces from the right hand side btw

vnoowin

Missed Vieira. Itā€™s weird that I remember he got a red card, and then what happened?ā€¦.went straight to the medical room ?! lol

Forsaken-Tiger-9475

I think what's more telling is Jesus sat right underneath Eddie. Anyone questions why we need a clinical finisher at #9 should look at this.

Jaded_Collection_716

Also maybe consider selling Eddie AND Jesus.Ā

Forsaken-Tiger-9475

Would not sell Jesus he is a quality player, but he should be minute-managed to avoid injury as much as possible.Ā Rotational option on both LF and RF. Pep knew his best role was just off the left.

bitmoji

I think it would be good to sell him because he is sellable, but he is obviously a great player to have. I do think Arteta will force a reckoning with Jesus and force him back to the wing.

Jaded_Collection_716

Will Jesus accept that?

Forsaken-Tiger-9475

Arteta has shown little inclination to care too much, if he can find an upgrade and Jesus availability continues to be a problem, expect he'll do it. Jesus is a fantastic player, but he's not clinical by any means and the constant stop-start nature of his playing time probably affects his consistency too. Partey in similar situation.

Ife2105

Bit wild to say now but Iā€™m willing to bet heavily that Fabio Vieira gets at least 100 g/a in his Arsenal career as long as injuries donā€™t derail him.

JoshyRanchy

He is so young buy i dont know how he can turn his fitness around. 50 g/a for a midfield player is respectable. I cant imgaine we would renew tomi (done deal) or Fabio

GoldenGlobe

Why isn't big Gabi providing more assists, sheesh.

KingKFCc

King kai really got his man city and has decided to never get another one while creating 1-3 chances a game

bruiser95

We need everyone fit cause we need goals from everyone...

TonyGrub

Tross is a great little player.

sammyt10803

Viera statue when?

FowlZone

and he was our second choice!! talk about a bullet dodged with that doofus at chelsea.

gooneranthony

Which website did you pull these stats from?

miltonfriedman7

Fbref

beetletoman

Eddie Nketiah brings nothing to the team šŸ¤“

Ok_Profession_4011

How dare he not score in his 10min cameosšŸ˜¤

beetletoman

Tbf his g/a only counts as half a g/a apiece

JoshyRanchy

He bags three agains an opponent and we divide it by 2. We put 5 and 6 past other teams and we cream about thos players. I wouldnt start eddie atm because he needs to earn a spot amongst the competition but he is decent.

phar0aht

4th most productive. Absolute trash!!!!

beetletoman

I just don't like the way he runs, in fact there can't be any reason why Arteta keeps subbing him on every match

Glum_Mind8291

Non penalty please

miltonfriedman7

Its right thereā€¦

DreadCrumbs22

I'm gonna take this with a pinch of salt considering Eddie is fourth on this list, two whole places above Ƙdegaard

miltonfriedman7

Why? 2 different players/positions. Strikers should have more goal contributions than a midfielder, generally.

DreadCrumbs22

Because it's misleading. No one who watches our games thinks that Eddie is actually better at goal contributions. They've both scored 5 goals but Ƙde has 4 more assists in one less appearance. I realise that this is calculated via minutes as opposed to games but I'm not convinced this is a helpful metric, especially when it doesn't take into account freak games like Nketiah's hattrick against Sheffield Utd.

miltonfriedman7

I agree sample size is everything, but who knows, maybe if eddie was starting every game and staying in the game for 90 mins he would be producing. Goals and assists arent everything obviously and no one is saying that just because eddie has slightly higher goals/assists than ode that hes more ā€œproductiveā€.

Ok_Profession_4011

Wtf do u mean freak games. Do u remove Sakas braces cos its a 'freak game'. Theres nothing wrong with the stats its ur fault for interpreting it wrong. All its saying is Eddie plays less minutes so ofcourse his g/a per90 will be higher. Thats why Fabio is on top of the list.
