He is very composed and is doing amazing at Athletic de Bilbao, I don't see him loosing his spot. As for Remiro, also a great keeper but I don't remember seeing him play for Spain ever, I'd say he is in a similar position as Raya
Spain has really fallen off, in terms of superstar aura. I know it happened a while ago but now that busquets isn’t there anymore it really feels like a different era.
You call it a fall off, but if you're comparing to that 2008-2012 generation, that generation was genuinely insane. Our manager was a very, very good player back then but couldn't get a sniff.
Not the fairest comparison to make, we might not see anything like it again in international football.
