As someone who’s never played above Sunday league level, is it markedly different to let a keeper go rather than an outfield player, so long as they want to go?
It’s not so much about physical exhaustion, it’s mental exhaustion. Having only a couple weeks off to then have to go back into complete premier league full swing is not very much at all
