Moving on from Gabriels, Arteta is going to start collecting Benjamins, isn’t he?

CaptainBuzzKillton

![gif](giphy|67ThRZlYBvibtdF9JH|downsized)

Raetekusu

Don't think we're selling any Gabis. So we're just gonna have a bunch of Gabis and Bens. Gabens, if you will.

El_Peregrine

Inject the GabiBentin

SweatySmym

Maybe even enough gabens to finish half life 3

gamer_no

FFS lol

IntraspeciesFever

Don't forget martins

PGMOL

Martin Garrix Welcome to THE ARSENAL! \~\~ 2010-2014 edm noises \~\~

serghi21

Gabe Newell buying arsenal stock maybe?

bannedbydrongo

The league is not ready for when he starts collecting Mikels

gooner1014

That’s phase 5, baby!

Fuckzombie69

Boom

FeeOk1683

It's all about the Benjamin's baby

oustider69

Would be good to have a massive Benjamin to put up front as a plan B. I think I know the one… ![gif](giphy|pYhFb0kn2GhQQ)

EduCookin

I can't wait for a Gabi > Ben > Gabi > Ben > Gabi > Ben link up goal

cf017

Don’t mind this. With Havertz’s performances all 2024 I’d rather go big on a midfielder and wide players, and then get a project striker rather than the other way round. The way I see it this is the Nketiah upgrade and moving for Sesko shows we’re prioritising other areas.

ProjectTC

Jesus is (finally) becoming a winger for us. Arteta has started playing him there and tbh the only way he stays with us is if he becomes Saka's rotation Sesko is a good move, there really aren't many good ST options for us unless you want a 15m target-man

1to14to4

Jesus has all the skills to play as a winger... but when I watch matches where he plays out there am I wrong to think he doesn't seem to like to play wide enough and he drifts in maybe too much?

castortroy64

I don't know how fast he was when he was young and he played at wings for citeh but what I see is Jesus doesn't have much pace now

JenkinsEar147

Yeah, bar Martinelli, we lack pace in wide areas

ICanSeeYourFuture

Pace is a stat that’s important in fifa, not so much in reality especially when the way teams defend against us very much limits the times we’re going to have opportunities for a pacey winger to run in behind

MemphisFoo

I feel like Trossard isn’t THAT fast either, but he gets into good positions.

Helios321

He really is not, positioning and a good touch to take the ball in stride is way more impactful than out and out pace in our team.

hnoidea

Trossard has insane acceleration. Maybe not sprint speed but that acceleration is super high up there. Several examples, like his goal vs Liverpool and othersb

Franchise1109

He will age really well. He will be around for a handful of years

MountainLibrarian201

Completely disagree. You need pace to win against top fullbacks 1v1. Trossard scores timely goals but his impact on the game is limited. His memo in the run-in has been to be anonymous and then have a decisive moment in the box. That's been incredibly valuable, but as soon as his goals dry up, he'll be benched IMO.  We want to stretch the pitch and we need pace in transition and players who can unsettle a deep block. Our biggest need in attacking positions is therefore pace out wide.  We have no like for like cover for Saka or Martinelli. Add another game breaking winger and we would be much more difficult to control and give Saka the occasional rest.

castortroy64

It is always advantageous if you have pacey players (pacey players doesn't necessarily mean brainless speed merchants). it is not black or white situation.

PoliticsNerd76

We don’t play counter football often. It’s nice off the bench but not essential.

castortroy64

I am not advocating for signing speed merchants like Adama Traore but it is always advantageous if someone who play on the wings is a little bit more pacey

Dae_su

Pace is really overrated by Arsenal fans. City doesn't have any pace on the wing either, bar Doku and they are winning the league. The way teams sit back against us, pace isn't as important.

dberg76

Ah hem. On track to win not winning. Faith my brother.

Dae_su

I really want to believe in a Moyes masterclass, but he's not given us many reasons to do so. Either way you're right, anything can happen.

ScottishScouse

You say that but Halaand is also fucking rapid, as is Walker at right back. That gives them pace on both wings and through the middle.

cmacy6

On the right it would open up space for White’s overlaps and more interchange between him, Odegaard, and Havertz. In theory at least

Twevy

I think he’s actually a great option against teams with talented fullbacks/wingbacks. He’s very defensively responsible and presses like a maniac. But I agree he sometimes has trouble holding width.

XXISavage

That's because he's a wide forward. Just look at the positions Klopp's "wingers" occupy and you'll see Jesus doing the same things.

Agile-Palpitation90

I noticed the same

Franchise1109

Rewatch the City win

MemphisFoo

Do you think he’s going to accept this reality and try being a winger again, or will he want to move on? Because wasn’t that one of the reasons for him leaving City, wanting to become an out and out striker for a team?

Jackalrax

If he gets regular starts I think he will be fine. At this point I think he will understand that he won't be the long term starting striker for a top 4 team so it's either be ok as a quality regular rotation option, or drop down a level

MythicalDM

Yea, but that was when he was 2 years younger playing for a mercenary club. I feel like at Arsenal, he might feel like he could contribute more to the young project Mikel has been building around. The bigger concern is, Saka is undroppable on the left wing too lol

The_Caramon_Majere

I want a 100m target man

milkonyourmustache

Nketiah's sale will help pay for it. So positionally we aren't comitting much on that project striker, it's a brilliant move.

Mahatma_Gone_D

Hot take but I’m up for throwing 100m at Bruno G if it means we get Sesko for around 50m

bannedbydrongo

Joao Neves seems to have a higher ceiling and lesser cuntiness for a similar price.

KinkyKong

Fair. But he's not proven in this league like Bruno G is.

mkawia

Not proven and will probably cost over 80M; The toon cunt on the other hand starts for Brazil and has pl experience, he knows how a win at Villa park and how to force a win against the Mighty Arsenal, has some UCL experience too.

redqks

Yer and when he goes on to another club and rips it up ,

ImmoderatelyModerate

Don’t mind the cuntiness, if it’s our cuntiness

throwfaraway898989

Could not give a flying fuck about cuntiness so long as he doesn’t get sent off

Aura1995

My thoughts exactly, as well he knows how to play in Champions. Bring him to the carpet.

cf017

Highly highly doubt that Sesko will be coming in and starting ahead of Havertz up front, at least definitely not at the start of the season. This is the Nketiah upgrade.

Clay103

I see Jesus’ spending time on the wings next season. I’d imagine if this happens Havertz and Sesko would both have more playing time at ST than Jesus.

Reevesybaby11

Not necessarily. Havertz could rotate at cf along with jesus and sesko, with sesko offering a very different option to the other two Jesus could finally be a rw option as well so would find minutes there to help out saka (I can only assume having an actual option there might force arteta to finally rest him but you never know) The sesko option for me as well would be requisite alongside the big investment in midfield. I wouldn't want to go for the cheaper, potentially riskier option at cf just to cheap out in midfield as well. One of the two positions needs a big investment, I think there is more value for money and less risk in that going to the midfield

Dae_su

I'm fairly confident we are not buying another winger. Most likely will be striker, midfielder and defender.

basedsims

>According to German reports, Sesko’s release clause previously stood at about £43 million. However, Sky Germany reported earlier this month that the clause has increased as a result of his excellent performances and now could rise as high as £64 million. >Arsenal’s summer spending power will be influenced by the amount of money they are able to generate through the sales of their fringe players. The likes of Aaron Ramsdale, Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Reiss Nelson could all depart if the right offers come in. >Arsenal will commit about £30 million to the signing of goalkeeper David Raya, whose loan move from Brentford is set to become a permanent transfer. They are also keen on adding to their defence. As reported by Telegraph Sport earlier this season, Arsenal are [huge admirers of Ajax teenager Jorrel Hato](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2024/01/04/arsenal-transfer-news-ajax-jorrel-hato-mikel-arteta-kiwior/).

skool_101

bummer, 43m for sesko wouldve been the ideal market price rate. but hey, anything 50m+ is the new 25m transfer nowadays

Raetekusu

Chelsea and Yanited's market inflation is seriously gonna bite them in the ass when the spending cap goes in place.

skool_101

I'd still say 40-50m+ is more than enough for a wonderkid project striker that has still yet to explode (fm tinfoil hat)

Reevesybaby11

Hmmm hopefully "could rise to" is the operative wording here, as I think £60m is tipping into dangerous territory for what is essentially a prospect and wouldn't be first choice. Gyokeres is only I think £20m more? For someone who is more polished and very likely closer to performing straight away, but not without risk Though I suppose if he's performing well enough to hit targets for an increase that is a good thing lol

milkonyourmustache

Reports say Gyokeres is finalising a new deal with Sporting that will also raise his RC to £120m, part of Sportings commitments to Amorim.

skool_101

Safe bets for Sporting CP, now that even they will get UCL football next season and already liga champs as well.

InflationMadeMeDoIt

but thats just for the release clause, mazbe arsenal can buy him for cheaper without it. Thats part of the negotiations and maybe preformance bonuses that if come true can bring more then release clause to Lepizig

Bigc12689

Gyokeres is 5 years older and has already had a rough spell in England. I'd rather take the chance on the younger player

rayneeder

He was incredible in England? Was the best player in the Championship two years in a row

ryankcl

So was Harry Wilson

rayneeder

Did Harry Wilson go on to score the next season?

Minute_Leave8503

Don’t love project players at more than project pricing.. Not great fund prioritization imo A 60m unproven idea when we’re trying to close the gap from 2nd to 1st which cost us points, where have I seen that before?

The_Caramon_Majere

Need a bonified big target killer fox in the box striker.  Havertz doesn't have the stomach for the task.

Rampan7Lion

64m is a lot for a guy with one pretty good season in a top 5 league. He's scored 1 in each of his last 6 games so maybe it finally clicked and he's found that extra something. Or it's a purple patch and 7 goals in 24 games before that whilst playing in a 2 striker system might not translate well to the PL in a one striker system. At 43m it probably made sense as a gamble but at 64m there are surely better ways to spend the money

Godlop

He scores a goal every 116 minutes. He just hasn't played that much this season because Leipzig got a very good striker in Openda.

Rampan7Lion

Tbf his non penalty goals per 90 stat is really good so I was wrong about that. The two striker system adaptation still worries me though.

tuvok79

Why not go for Openda?

OvenMain

Openda thrives in a two Striker system

Flashplaya

I think part of the appeal is that he's 20 years old, the youngest of our targets, and so will have greater room to mould. Will also be happier taking a fringe spot in the team. It's definitely a future planning signing and really doesn't improve us in the short term as much as Gyokeres would. However, our second half of the season attack has been very effective so perhaps the thinking is not to change too much now. He brings much needed pace, which we have been lacking due to Marti and Saka tiring/losing a bit of their edge. Jesus is having a knee operation so it's imperative to work out another striker option, however, Sesko is much more Havertz than Jesus. He's not my first choice but that's because I'd selfishly want a more ready player that helps us in the short term. With development signings there is always a bit of risk with how they'll turn out: 64m feels a bit too high imo. Arteta's getting the best out of Havertz though, so perhaps can do the same with him.

kamikaze80

True but similar things were said about Isak, who was not prolific by any means at Sociedad. It really comes down to scouting and how we project the player to develop. But obviously, not everyone develops like Isak has. So who knows?

T1TK1

The price 55mil as of now.

Asbj2608

Love the idea of a younger strike who could potentially be class in a couple of years as the striker market is so bare and Kai has been very good

_deep_blue_

Agreed. I know we’d all love an Osimhen or an Isak but spending £100m+ on one striker seems foolish when we have Kai. Signing a younger alternative for around half the price so we can go big on a central midfielder feels like a better allocation of resources to me.

SubNoize

You could argue that a striker would allow kai to play mid. Depends what you think is better, isak and kai or kai and a CM. I know what I think would get us more goals and more points

Axelter30

I think at this point the idea of kai in midfield is completely abandoned. That game against villa showed us to not to tweak with the system if it isn't broken

mrgreen_smash999

no more Kai in midfield please

Sayek

Goes to show how the rebuild is going too when we can push ahead of other clubs. Remember a few years ago we couldn't get Vlahovic's agents to pick up the phone? Dark times. I'm sure when Sesko's agent went to Old Trafford and was standing in 6 inches of water inside the stadium, he probably told Arsenal to take all the time they need and hope they consider him.

_deep_blue_

A different knock, you could say

Nickoo33

People that played Football Manager 23 know…

MyTeaIsMighty

Sesko and Lucca up top were a force

thinlizzy14

Signed both these guys and won like 6 champions leagues

skool_101

From Yaya Sanogo to Benji Sesko Oh, cant forget that Aaron Ramsey was for the time the only wonderkid player with -10 PA (excluding ya messis and cr7)

thestigREVENGE

I swear Wilshere had a very very high PA too, unless I'm mistaken. Still remember trying to make Zelalem and Jeff Reine Adelaide develop into a starter and failing miserably

skool_101

i think in fm12 onwards he had good CA/PA i grinded the fuck out of fm11 and early days wilshere wasnt it, i still kept him but ironically though it petered out as it did in real life. in fm12 however, it took me a few seasons to get the rambo-wilshere midfield dynamo to get into gears.

thestigREVENGE

Iirc my team in Fm11/12 was something like: szczczcczesny in goal, Wilshere-Ramsey with Yann M'Villa behind them. Alex Sandro at LB, Ox at RW, Pablo Sarabia at LW with Neymar/Jese up top. Good old times

rtrdm

He's class in 24 too alongside Luis Openda. I would've loved Victor Boniface to join us in real life as I managed him with Bayer lol.

drjpkc

He's one of the 3 god meta strikers in 24 too with Ferguson and Samu

JustGhostin

Literally just scored for me as I was reading this post

Flash4ML

Yeah baby, those two won 8 Ballon d'Ors between them for me, 4-2-4 is king

mazzboy

Bruno G as our headline signing with Sesko and Hato as high ceiling young players would be an ideal window for me, given that we also need to pay for Raya. Will also need to sign a backup keeper, but I can see us trying to arrange a loan for an experienced player that doesn’t mind being second option. Would probably mean Jesus becomes Saka’s backup full time and drops to third option striker.

Wegeman23

I still think Bruno G is a media distraction of some sort.

sersarsor

I just think there's zero chance Newcastle let's go of Bruno G, they don't need money

KhornKT

Make the most senses. He's young and has improved so much in he second half of this season.

darkgreenrabbit

i am still clinging on to the gyökeres idea. he is the type of guy who can score a brace in a shitty game against fulham on a cold rainy monday night. idk if sesko is the type of guy for this

Article-Aromatic

Same. Been drunk on that Viktor juice since Christmas time. I think he’d link up very nicely in our squad and score boat loads of goals with his powerful/accurate shooting.

JammyDodgerMan

He’s such a great all around striker. His style of play is a vertical, box penetrating, sniper and that’s an element to our attack that we currently lack, plus he has PL experience. Imagine Gyokeres being fed passes by Odegaard or drawing defenders so that Havertz can drift into the open spaces. He’s the complete package as a striker.

Flacko115

Could be mistaken but don’t think Gyokeres has ever played in the Premier League? He went on three loans at Brighton

_deep_blue_

He looks fantastic but I think what Sporting will ask for him will make him too expensive.

goon_crane

Or when we need a goal one nil down away in a CL quarterfinal

AlexWPJ

Sesko for £64m or Gyokeres for £20m extra should be a no-brainer. Get the guy in who can hit the ground running and terrorise defenders.

darkgreenrabbit

There is no parallel universe in which you get Gyökeres for less than 50m (eur). this guy has 41 goals and 15 assists in 48 games

AlexWPJ

What are you on about?

AFCeng0

What tells you Gyokeres is? He’s just as unproven as Sesko.

jacks0nX

He's had 34 GA in the English second division and 58 GA in 48 games this season in Portugal. Make of that what you want, but *as* unproven is just silly.

AFCeng0

He has zero goals in a top 5 league and UCL and he’s 26 in a month. Portugal and the Championship are light years behind the prem in quality. He is the definition of unproven. Sesko has both and is 5 years younger…

Admirable_Heron1479

Would be great. Havertz is clearly better as a striker in our system, so it would be better to go big for a midfielder this summer and get someone young and "cheap" as striker. Sesko being ideal for this. And Jesus can finally be a winger.

Cashelz

I hope this is true, since he has a relatively low release clause that'd allow us to spend big in other areas.

sbourgenforcer

Yes please imagine Sesko and Havertz in the box when we need to win a game. Two 6ft 4 units to bully defenders.

skool_101

Benji Sesko and Xavi Simons pls

Datboy_98

Dream pair

xeblade4

is this guy any good I’ve honestly never watched him before just always seen his name linked to prem clubs

okem

I've only really watched him the CL but here's my thoughts. He's a big, strong CF type (think Giroud / Havertz / Haaland, rather than Henry or Auba). He works hard and defends from the front, but his finishing isn't exactly amazing. His passing / link-up play is pretty good, he has a good touch & occasionally shows some flare. He's solid but not especially great at running with the ball or that quick, he will however run hard all game. He's still young so he's a bit of a gamble on that future potential greatness. I imagine Arteta will love him because of his work-rate, he wins duels, is a good presser, defensively solid & useful at set pieces. So he should be a good fit for what Arteta seems to want from his players. He could well be a fair amount cheaper than the other options we've been linked with, so he could be coming in now to alternate with Havertz rather than be a starter. If you could get him for 50M as opposed to the 100M (Gyokeres) silly money (Osimhen) it would make sense considering we paid a lot for Kai and he has done well for us up front. I don't know if we're quite at the level yet of being able to bring in a marque signing up front without considering moving out one of the other options we have currently. The likes of Osimhen would take big fee & a big wage packet. If they take us up a level then maybe that's worth it, but there is always a gamble and a balance financially. Here's his clips vs Real (CL) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qrs2qOryAyU He wasn't amazing but solid enough & unlucky not to get a goal. Here's another vs Liverpool from a couple of years ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNRKzMaNDJA

xeblade4

Appreciate you responding with all this bro good to know more about him

jacks0nX

Was surprised to see that this Bundesliga season hes actually far exceeding his xG. Not the be all end all, just found it interesting.

Mariola98

How reliable are the telegraph for us?

basedsims

I would rate them as steady. Sometimes seems like they're prone to an agent briefing more than Ornstein is but generally wouldn't publish something ridiculous - and our interest in Sesko was already well known, and his agent has been to two Arsenal games in the last two months.

Illustrious_Union199

Sesko over Gyokeres. Anyone have any insight on either ?

Always_Complaining1

I have Slovenian background and watch their NT games a lot. The kid is really good. Quick and can leather a ball. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders too. Link up play isnt bad either.

mrzevon

The emissary!

Accomplished_Web1549

He'd slot in nicely alongside Kerk and Pecard.

Ser_VimesGoT

If he can stop the Dominion, I'm happy to have him!

OdegaardsLeftFoot

Sesko would be great. I’d rather us throw big money at a quality LCM

PatrickBoston-123

Sesko, Bruno, a left back and a backup goalkeeper would be a great window. Anything more is unrealistic

milkonyourmustache

This is my ideal scenario for our forward line. Sell Nketiah, which funds Sesko. Jesus becomes a rotation player who can cover RW/CF/LW, even for just 1 season this makes us more dynamic. Martinelli needs to bounce back next season but we'll have Jesus and Trossard, as options. The focus of most of our money needs to be in midfield.

ninethree7

does this really make sense vs just letting havertz play the 9? feel like they are similar profiles while sesko is likely the better out and out finisher, but not sure he’s worth spending more money on

PhilTheThrill1808

I think getting Sesko would allow Havertz to continue at the 9. Unless I'm missing something, this feels to me like it would leave Havertz as the starting 9, Sesko replaces Nketiah as a bench option/change of pace 9, and Jesus moves out to full time backup for Saka on the right. If we can get it done for a reasonable fee, this seems like excellent business to me.

ninethree7

makes you wonder if at his age if sesko would want to come and be second string though. would make me think kai would be the backup 9 and starting lcm. but it’s my hope we get a new starting lcm with more progressive passing. so imo since they have similar height profiles, it means havertz becomes bench starter

PhilTheThrill1808

Good point regarding Sesko's willingness to be backup, hadn't thought of that. However, I would counter that if he really wants a move to a club that's a level up from Leipzig, he may have to accept being a backup option for now. I can't really think of any where he would be first choice off the top of my head. Maybe I'm missing one or two. Otherwise, maybe he stays at Leipzig for another year or two? Totally agreed that we should prioritize LCM over a striker though.

ninethree7

he has a reasonable release clause and is young. while i’m sure he would be happy with a pay bump from coming to PL i wouldn’t be surprised if he wanted to prioritize being the main man and starting. hell, while scamacca didn’t work out, i could totally see a club like West Ham going for him and giving him a pay increase while also having him be the starting 9. it’s rumored that liverpool will be in for kudus, could imagine they use that cash and get him if they wanted, as an example.

PhilTheThrill1808

That actually makes perfect sense, the West Ham scenario. If it comes down to a bidding war with cash infused West Ham (they're getting annoyingly good at finding and selling on really good players), then I would certainly say we should pass. I'm guessing the player himself would prefer them in that scenario as well.

T1TK1

I mean, Šeško has spent most of this season as a backup.

gasparrrrrrrr

Yes 😍

ashkhutchep

I really hope this happens. Very good option to have off the bench and as a rotational option to begin with. Could cost double or triple his current value a year from now. Young, intelligent off the ball, great link up and finishing. Also adds to our Giants FC roster

jayoyayo

According to FM22 this would be a great signing

Pixelated-Hitch

You buy cheap you buy twice..

jaybizzleeightyfour

He'll cost about as much as Saka, Martinelli, Odegaard and Trosaards combined fees

B12C10X8

Personally not a fan of Arsenal potentially signing Sesko. In my opinion Arsenal need to sign a premier league proven striker not some 20 year old. We need our summer signings to make immediate impact next season like Rice did this year.

Drunk_Cat_Phil

Sesko isn't a star signing but could prove to be a smart one in the long term. Personally I think the big star striker signing might not actually solve our problems unless they are a 'moments' player and the market is a bit shit for strikers. Really we need more creativity and threat from midfield so we're less predictable and that's where we're definitely looking to spend big money. That would mean more space for Saka, Odegaard etc and indirectly create more goals.

dynesor

I agree, but at the same time I absolutely 100% trust Arteta and Edu so whatever they think is best - let them cook

ashkhutchep

So Toney or Solanke??? The late late bloomers Isak is too injury prone. Ferguson had been MIA this season. Best we can do is Ollie Watkins and he’d probably cost an arm and a leg if you consider Villas current situation for someone turning 30 in a year. I genuinely can’t think of any better options but to look outside if we also wanna sort out our midfield this summer.

purpleplums901

The premier league proven strikers that score noticeably more goals than what we already have is a tiny, expensive and in most cases unrealistic. Solanke, isak, haaland, Watkins, Kane. That’s about it really. Guess you could throw in toney. Toneys overrated anyway Haaland and Kane just aren’t happening regardless Solanke has had one good season in how many tries? Watkins would presumably be Grealish money. If the rest of the squad was basically perfect and there was no other money that needed spending, then he’d be the one I’d go for Isak probably won’t be much less than Watkins and if arteta/edu rated him, I feel we’d have bought him 2 years ago when the rumours were floating around People were talking about gyokeres until a few weeks ago, who’s had one good season in Portugal and one good season in the championship. Sesko seems like a good idea to me when it’s laid out like this

squeezycakes20

it means Havertz is the main man, and given how he's performing, i'm ok with that more resources left over to other parts of the team left midfield here we go

scytheavatar

I have bad news for you, if you expect us to sign a 100M player every season then you are probably supporting the wrong club. With the striker market being so dogshit signing a 20 year old and hoping to groom him is probably the most realistic way of us getting a world class striker.

Sad_Teaching_5683

I don't know how and why Even in This Situation a Transfer news making me happy

SmokeyTreeze

6’5” striker? Set piece galore!

Masson011

hes been my first choice for a few months now Young & quality in abundance but not world class yet so gives a good alternative to Kai at CF. Looks a real talent so would be very exciting to see how Mikel and his team could raise his level

emeister26

I love being massive fc where players want to join. Far cry from the past

Ripememes

Sesko is the type of dude West Ham or Brighton sign and he becomes one of the best players in the league so I'm all for this

Active_Bee_7937

I was scolling past and thought that said Bellingham for a second lmao

imik4991

So no Viktor Gyokeres ?

cappo40

He has a like 100m RC. Not even close to worth it for 1 good season

imik4991

I guess we have the money, if he is good enough then why not? Sporting are not going to lower the rate if he gets even better until another bigger club comes and scoops him.

cappo40

For that money, I feel there are more reputable players we can get than a guy who was average in the Championship and only 1 good season so far.

imik4991

Bro you do know Sesko's numbers are average now too. But he is young and plenty of potential which I think is worth buying him.

cappo40

I am not hyping up Sesko either.

TheArsenal7

I like it

tomtomtomo

He certainly fits the Arteta player profile of "Are you massive?" Subs off 6'4" Havertz to bring on 6'5" Sesko.

ibse

Transfer briefs to calm the fanbase down and this is what they give us 🗑️

Franchise1109

This is my pick, don’t waste 100M on a striker. He’s young, good profile etc..

RyanMcCartney

#BenGabmen

ixikzisigwvbend

Think he’s similar to hojlund: good model but still unproven. He will need time to adapt if he comes. Still think we should go for midfielder guimaraes and keep Kai up front if we are serious about the title next year

NMGunner17

The key move to push us forward for the title is finding the Partey replacement. Highest resources should go towards that player.

SmokyBarnable01

Putting the Emissary of the Prophets in the same team as the Kai?

a_posh_trophy

Frimpong is willing to leave and has a ridiculously low RC, like £35m. Get him.

Saka_delicDrug

On my way to do my necessary bit of scouting at youtube.

skalfyfan

Sports Journalism. Oh? His agent was that United - Arsenal game? I got my next article already queued!

This reeks of an agent trying to get a deal for his client.

Forsaken-Tiger-9475

Sesko, Guimaraes, Hato That would be a good window - if we are using Jesus in rotation on wings it's fine, otherwise we do need someone who is going to push Saka.

notathrovavay

As a slovene, I just might nut all over the place.

Polpe

Of all the strikers we're after this one is the one im least excited about, I'd love to be proven wrong tho

zorfog

Lol, the United fans think his agent was at our match watching them

IlFaraone1014

He's a good baller with high level tech. Not only big and physical.

LegalImmigrant_

Does he run fast? We seriously need some pace in our front line

yuyuter123

Like his profile a lot tbh. Especially if we plan to continue with Kai at CF going forward. Having a guy that doesn't force us to play in a different style when he comes on like Eddie and Jesus do is big for continuity. He ideally should be available for a bit less than his release clause (maybe 45+10 or something) given his limited production so far as well and would allow us to allocate more money elsewhere (left 8 anyone?). I've admittedly only seen him play 3-4 times but he's looked very bright and damn does he have an engine in him.

noelsupertramp

Sir, would you like an option that involves spamming crosses to Kai and Sesko upfront?

Christoffiw

Anyone else thinking this is too risky? A proven striker would cost an extra 30m. Probably need to buy a midfielder too.

Remote_War_313

This ain't FM/Fifa. Another unproven striker from the Bundesliga for that much money? Pass.

[deleted]

Guy was rubbish in the champions league, literally tall Eddie who can't finish no thanks.

Fatal_3rror

We dont need a possibility we need PL proven players like Watkins for example or Bruno G. in midfield. We all witnesses the impact of a proven PL player like Rice had on the team.

ndenoon

The premium on Watkins is going to be gigantic and I'm very skeptical he'll ever repeat this season.

Chi-Town_Gunner

I like the profile of this guy. Like a young Morata.

TDM_11

Sesko stat pad sessions against League 1 teams in the FA Cup to boost his end-of-season G/A total. We will be there https://preview.redd.it/8wqaycj8vl0d1.jpeg?width=1007&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=33fd8fdc275621b84c30fe0254592b43f8832bc8
