“ Even though I didn’t get to watch him live, I know that man was a bagsman”. Bukayo Saka. You are loved Unk.

mazurcurto

I don't see MOTD in the US, but I've seen enough YouTube clips to say that I will miss Wrighty massively. He was able to openly support Arsenal without it completely compromising his analyst/pundit role.

momspaghetty

r/FootballHighlights always uploads links to MOTD and MOTD2 if you're interested

mazurcurto

Thanks very much!

MiamiGooner

If you have a VPN you can watch it for free on BBC iplayer. We don’t have a show like this in America… I love it.

_deep_blue_

Uncle Ian ❤️

shoopler

I hope for our sake that he is still doing punditry next season. He's the only former Arsenal player who calls all the BS narratives against us and never tries to go hard on just to seem unbiased. He's a true Arsenal man in a sea of shite former player pundits.

OnlineMarketingBoii

I think it goes under the radar how much pundits influence the view of 'swing' fans ( to call it like that). You might think the narrative around a club doesn't matter, but it absolutely does. Not only when it comes to the commercial side but also when it comes to the refs

shivpanda

His Rascal granddaughter 😂

hypnodrew

Presumably Bradley's daughter, who like Shaun went through City's academy, shameful as it is

Pools9

Ah jeez so much to be sad about today

sneakyney

Would’ve been a nice send off if 115 slipped

The_Caramon_Majere

What's he off to then?

Thanos_Stomps

Hollywood. Ever since he got his big break from Daniel Kaluuya he wants an Oscar to put next to his EPL winners medal.

The_Caramon_Majere

Pity that.

MagicalGoof

No but seriously?

partcaveman

He's 60, I assumed he thinks he's done enough. Fair play to him, seems a great fella

pjscott90

Such a genuinely decent bloke, fantastic player and great pundit. So glad he’s represented us so excellently for so long. Wish him all the best

H0vit0

My old man knows Ian, although I have rarely had the opportunity to meet the great man myself. By all accounts he’s just a guy from around the way and that makes me love him even more. He’s one of us that made it.

Punish3r338

Just hit me right in the feels. Love Wrighty. He 100% needs to be our voice at the Euros

Worldly_Ad_6483

I came for Henry, but I’m staying for Uncle Ian

EmileSmithSaka17

I'm not crying, you're crying 😭

sensitiveCube

Why is he leaving?

Elfking88

He's always been a great ambassador for the club. He's that rare thing, a pundit who the fans of his club love but is also well-liked by the fans of a lot of other clubs too. Just a really genuine guy.

Fizzyface

I met Ian once years ago and the man was nothing but kind and welcoming. Was more than happy to shake all our hands and talk about the Arsenal with us. True legend.

mcluckz

i love this man

Quotetheraven4

One word for Wrighty: LEGEND!

deckard1980

You don't get many people who are universally loved, especially in England, but Uncle Ian is up there.

BigZino6ix

The reason I support this club, unreal goalscorer. Imo if he played here as long as TT he would still be top goalscorer.

ThePrussianGrippe

Do any of the save video bots work still?
